  1. Personally, I would recommend doing Exiled Kalphites (in the grave room). They often drop rune items, lots of charms, herbs and of course 100% drop of damaged chitin.

Hey there, First off, for my action bar, I tend to use: - Sonic wave - Combust - Wrack - Dragon breath - Impact - Wild magic - Asphyxiate - Any damaging ultimate - Guthix's blessing - Freedom Last two are free for whatever. I'd suggest not using Chain because you sometimes hit multiple Glacors and have a bit of trouble on your hands. Next then, either ovl or extreme magic potions work well, so that's up to you. Seeing as you can't use Soul Split yet, use protection prayers going along with the arms on the Glacor. definitely use fire wave until you have access to fire surge. I'm not sure about xp/hr with fire wave, but I'd assume roughly 150k. Unfortunately I don't have invy pictures, so I'll just tell you what I use: - 1 hour of potions (3 ovl, and whatever you find you need in terms of prayer potions for that time) - 50-100 high alchemy casts - charming imp (not necessary) - 10 food (monks or higher would be best) To save on prayer/food, bring an aura with you.   4. As everyone here said, Glacors are excellent xp. I did roughly 89-99 magic at those having done 94-99 once EoC was already in game. They give you around 3.5k magic experience per kill and it is easily possible to get 60+ kills per hour even in pretty cheap gear (I did most of it using Arma bstaff with subju robes). This easily translates to 210k magic xp/hr. I've heard of people getting 100 kills per hour as well having invested in high level gear which means a whopping 350k xp/hr. The charms are also excellent since they drop 3 charms at a time with the majority of them being crimson or blue. Unfortunately, basically any good monsters have fairly substantial quest requirements so if you want to access the best training spots, you'll have to do quite a bit of other leveling but it is well worth it in the end.   5. The royal crossbow would also be a good upgrade for those who can make it at least most of the way through a Queen Black Dragon fight. Inexpensive but a formidable ranged weapon. Nealo
  6. Good guide m8! Some other things it might be good to comment on are the re-spawn rate of the KQ so that players will know whether it's really worth doing multiple kills per trip. Another thing that players could find useful is the use of summoning familiars. (Is it better to use a BoB or a healing familiar like a unicorn?) You could also show alternate routes to KQ such as the broomstick that teleports a player to the sorcerer's garden which is just outside the Shanty Pass or else the use of a fairy ring. Further gear upgrades could also be good or else downgrades for those who are strapped for cash. Likewise, a suggested levels part could also be good and maybe even a section about using magic for killing it. Hope you keep adding to this guide as you improve methods! Nealo
  7. The xp reward from this miniquest is 375k divination experience (not bonus). It's given out as 25k xp per memory received, so 15 x 25k. In addition to this, you receive 150k bonus xp.

This method isn't that quick since it requires lots of questing, however, if you just meant fast exp once you start using magic, then I would suggest finishing TONS of quests and doing Ritual of the Mahjarrat. First off, there are lots of quest rewards along the way which you can use on magic, and this quest unlocks Glacors which I have found to be one of the best monsters for both magic xp and money in game. They just require some practice at first when you start to kill them. Again though, if you meant fast xp right this second, then this isn't the method for you.
  10. Hey there Sorator, thanks for the data! I'll add it right away. As for the xp per requested rune, it's always the same since at level 81 rc, I gave the requested rune every time and got 5346 xp per time regardless of whether it was deaths that were requested or minds requested. ~NealolaeN~
  11. Just to expand on what has already been said, Blood Esswraiths give 73xp per successful siphon and 3 points per blood rune. Death esswraiths give 60xp per successful siphon and (I think) 2-3 points per death rune. Blood Pools meanwhile give 146-147 per successful siphon. If you haven't already noticed, the single-rune nodes give double the experience per siphon than the creatures do. I hope you don't mind me saying this, but if you do, tell me and I'll take it off if you find it's advertising of my own topic. Anyways, on my topic "Runespan Experience", I'm trying to find experience rates for wizards and the info may come in handy for some things in your guide. Seems like an awesome guide so far though, keep up the good work! ~NealolaeN~
  12. Hey there everyone, Attention anyone reading this. I could really use help in getting what I assume will be the final 2 data amounts to have a complete list from 20-99 Runecrafting. Anybody with 64 and 65 Runecrafting, please consider going to The Runespan and waiting for 10 minutes or so and give the wizard the rune he is asking for. Then please make a post with your RC level and the exact amount of experience you got at that level. It would be very greatly appreciated! Thank you! So far I have yet to see an actual table of experience gained per wizard at each runecrafting level. I found this would be very interesting and possibly a great way to improve xp/hour since are levels at which one may consider not hunting the wizard anymore because the time spent getting that xp is superior to the normal amount of time spent for the same xp. Seeing as I'm already level 85 runecrafting and only started recording this data at 79, I'll need YOU, my fellow Tip.it-ers to help me gain a good picture of the experience per wizard. Simply tell me what Runecrafting level you are and how much experience you received from the wizard for the "best rune" as in the one the wizard asks for. Thank you! This would mean that from 1-14, the xp for the “best” rune improves by 2 per level. For levels 15-19, the xp per level improves by 4 for the “best” rune. Based on all the data from 20-54, the xp improves by 14 for each level for the “best” rune. As for the experience from at least levels 68-76, the xp improves by 28 xp per level for the “best” rune. From 77-89, for the “best” rune it improves by 66 xp per level this compares to blood runes which increase at a rate of 60 xp per level, meaning from now on it's better to give the “best” rune. At level 90, there's another experience jump where it starts improving by 76 xp per level for the “best” rune. I would also like to get experience rates from 60-67 since I'm assuming there is another jump at 65 with the addition of death runes. Formulas for wizard experience as found so far. 1 - 11? Another interesting thing to test out would be the amount of magic defense you naturally get just from your magic level since Jagex states that as your magic level increases, so too do your magical defenses. If that's the case, then you may want to try doing tests using different magic levels as well so that your data will be even more complete. For example, have a person with 99 mage vs 99 mage, followed by 99 mage vs 90 mage and so on until you get a very good idea of the effects magic equipment defenses play while fighting.

I'm not sure if I'm quite following what you're all talking about, but using polypore staff is a very good method, usually averaging about 410 max damage at 90 mage with overload (brings mage up to 97). Also, polypore is a [fairly] fast hitting weapon, and most of the time it WILL hit the required 300 damage in just one attack turn to switch it from melee to magic prayer. Because of this, both weapons I use deal about the same amount of damage which I figure is probably one of best things about this method since you don't need to worry about which style is getting the majority of damage dealing time. I don't know how this stands up to other people, but with average-ish skills (96 atk/99 str/90 mage) I'm taking down a little over 2 demons per overload dose. Again, I'm not sure if this is quite what you wanted, but this is what I have noticed so far using polypore staff with CLS as melee weapon. ~NealolaeN~
  15. Hey Kent Glacors are now one of the best charm droppers in the game, especially for blues. This is because it is easy to kill 30+ per hour, they drop 3 charms at a time, and blue charms are the most common from them. And even better, they drop charms nearly every kill (about 4 kills no charms per 30 kills i think). Anyways, you should really consider adding this to your guide next time you update.
