I don't disrespect any skill cape, I just have more respect for some and less for others. Firemaking is somewhere in the middle. Why? Well for one getting this 99 does not take that long. A player can get an easy 200k xp per hour, but the fact that you can't browse youtube or chat with friends makes it alot harder. You have to be fully attentive. The money spent on the 99 is not that great either, it only requires maybe 5m? It is also the most pointless 99, that will have little or no impact with helping you in your everyday life in . On my account I have 99 woodcutting, firemaking, cooking and strength. People respect my woodcutting cape and strength cape more than my firemaking, but I know that firemaking was harder for me to get because I did not have the luxury of watching TV or talking with friends. Not longer, but harder. If any1 cares: For: 99 Strength (was able to get 50k xp per hour at bandits) 99 woodcutting (was able to get around 80k xp per hour at Barbarin assualt cutting willows) 99 Firemaking (Around 200k xp per hour burning maples) 99 woodcutting (Around 250k xp per hour cooking sharks at rogues den)

DFS is a great item to use at dusties. I don't understand why you would find that stupid. It gives 2 more strength bonus than the defender, and it also gives 75 in all you defense bonus.

Bandos is better than rune in every possible way, it gives better defense and better strength bonus. I used to have around 60m (before i was hacked) and I used to use Bandos all the time whilst training slayer. If someone wants to get, for example, only 55 slayer then it really is not worth going through the hassle of buying full bandos unless he player is really rich. But if the slayer goal is a long term one, such as getting 85, it is worth investing money into bandos because it will make the tasks faster. People who use bandos don't use it to brag or showoff, they use it for the bonuses.

Jagex makes a huge profit! They have over 1000k paying members, people who pay them for advertisements and even their store which makes alot too. If millions of dollars are coming in every month, why close down ? It has existed for 10 years already, and it will exist longer.

Note, some monsters can hit through prayer but 99% of them can't, even the toughest ones. 40 defense stinks if you don't use your armor. Full rune>43 prayer 40 def without rune < 43 prayer

My favorite was back when dragon chains were around 30m +. My friend who got very rich told me to KQ, I brought my set of Veracs (I had like 5gp left lol) and we went on our way. We were noobs but we were able to take down the KQ, and we got the dragon chain. Back in the day, this chain was seen as godly, and we sold it for 34m. We split the cash and got 17m each, man that was awesome. I remember making my first 20m! Another was when I first became member, boy was that fun!

My account is level 121 (52 summoning) and I would never sell it, because I worked very hard on it. Alot of my skills are over 80, I have 99 woodcutting and strength, and the oldest holiday items in such as the Scythe, Bunny years and Yo-Yo. I have had such good times with my account :). I will probably give it to my kids/grand kids if they play (not yet lol im 15).

I have been inactive from rs for about two years already and recently I have decided to return. Now, alot has changed, and I am still unsure on what to do. First off, I want to make around 1000k to start barrowing efficiently, and at the moment I have a whole 40k. Aren't I rich? 8-) Before you suggest anything, please look up my stats, I am unable to post them :(. My account name is "Jelly mouth." I plan to mine rune ore, it is a nice 17k each and I can make up to 450k an hour with it. If there is anything better please tell me :) Also, is barrows still worth it? Recently a guy offered me Veracs, and it was only around 2000k! Wth! Have ALL the items dropped?
