  1. What the hell is this kid doing? This is almost 10 pages now and he still haven't even ordered the parts? Why is he wasting everybody's time and not even bothering to take in what they say, it seems like this is a blog for himself or some [cabbage] :) Anyways I hope one you bend the pins on your mofo as your cpu drops and shatters into million pieces, while penetration you video card and knocking over you monitor meanwhile the whole thing sets on fire from your psu.
  2. I just installed it and it seems pretty awesome, except for the fact that It doesn't recognise my video card (Nvidia GeForce 8200M G laptop integrated) it just has the VGA enables, in the Device manager. Supposedly Windows Update is supposed to download the drives for it, but it doesn't (maybe because its not recognized >_<). And the vista driver for it doesn't work either saying that my hardware doesn't match the driver I'm trying to install. Also I run it in the VM virtual Machine. Any help here?
  3. Finally this is here, I was thinking of created a topic like this one close to a year naw :) I just got my laptop back 2.0 GHz Duo core Nvidia 8200M G 3GB of RAM Basically I'm just looking for fun/entertaining games for PC that would be able to Run on my machine. Anything but sports game :D I know this is very broad, but I know almost nothing about PC games, and some good games would really be appreciated. Games that I owned and liked: In no order: Runescape, oblivion, Civilization 3, Diablo II, Age of Empires II, Combat Arms, Call of Duty 4, Orange Box, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. , CS 1.6 and the GTA's. I'm just looking for some solid, entertaining games, no matter what genre :)
  4. Hey guys I just created a partition and installed Ubuntu 8.10 on it. I have never used any form of Linux before, so it was quite a shock, but I was very pleased. I got the basics of Command Prompt (Terminal) and a few commands I though it was quit enjoyable. However I have a huge problem with drivers. I was not able to connect to the Internet, use my graphics card or even take full advantage of my CPU. My manufacturer (HP) did not provide any drivers for Linux so I was kind of screwed. My question is does anybody know where to get drivers for Linux or it would be even more useful if somebody knew about my driver specifically :), here are my specs: Compaq CQ50 - 106CA model Nvidia Geforce 8200M G 3GB of DDR2 Ram running at 800 GHz 17'inch monitor 250 GB harddrive Here's a picture to better explain it: Another Huge problem I have is that I cannot set my screen resolution above 800x640 (regularly 1280X800). Here's a picture of my Drivers installed on Vista: And if anyone could send a few links my way about Adapting from Windows to Ubuntu, or interesting or useful things about it. Pretty much anything. Or you could start a flame war about PC vs Linux. P.S. Can't access my real forum's account so I have to post from this atm.
