RuneScape Information

  1. Breakout having very humble beginnings hadn't warred for its first 5 month's of opening, focusing primarily on gaining members, its events and community. But Breakout was no push over and when challenged by Legendary Empire as we accepted with the following rules: Breakout ML: http://www.runehead.com/clans/ml.php?clan=breakout Legendary Empire ML: http://www.runehead.com/clans/ml.php?clan=lempire Starting Opts Breakout: 19 Legendary Empire: 13 And so the war began....... The first pile being on myself so I issued out my trusty magic staff and began tanking During the time I tanked, the rest of the clan was working towards taking out their organization by taking out their leaders Slowly but surely Le's opts ended up decreasing by the excellent binding skills by several, almost all of our warriors. With the final kill shot and our ending opts being 15 Good fight Legendary Empire
  2. IMO, i'd rather use a rune axe then the sc axe since i find it to be slower than rune sometimes, but yea dragon axe all the way tbh. Note before anyone flames: im 99 wc so i've been there done that ;) This is from my own experience with testing out the sc axe.
  3. I mostly agree with this, except the blue d'hide. Im curious, why not blue dhide? Because it's requirements are 50+ basically making it stronger than its rune counterparts. Should all be kept on a 40+ range. Also on a side note it'd crash blue d'hide G and T, through the roof
  4. Im going to skip reading pages 3-6 simply because 1 and 2 were just all the same views basically. My view: No one here can tell whats happening inside jagex. They wouldn't be doing something if they didnt need to. No one here can tell how big problems like credit card fraud are because you aren't in jagex and are able to see how many problems like this happen. I think mainly people need to just trust jagex more because if they don't do stuff like this then runescape wont last very long and YOU WONT have a game to play at all. Id like to put emphasis on the TRUST bit of that statement because well it's true, alot of people these days don't trust jagex which if you don't, you can never really enjoy the game as you'll always be worrying what the evil company will do next to "ruin" your fun. ^food for thought
  5. You know when youve been playing runescape too long when christmas comes around and you get excited about getting a blue partyhat out of a cracker
  6. I tihnk the term barrows pure comes to mind but yea just keep working on str and attk, also mage for veng
  7. I think what f2pers truly deserve is a break from updates. I tihnk everyone can agree as soon as the wilderness was removed, jagex had a f2p mob to please. Doing so they had to ramp up the updates for F2p, with their last update being the Rune mysteries quest so serisouly f2p had been going on for a long time quite fine without any updates. But after the remvoal you see, dual arena, fist of guthix, rc guild and even more premise that more content will be released for them. For starters the current content: Bh and Clan Wars- Fair replacement tbh for Wilderness Dual Arena- Tbh i did like the idea of this being f2p since its quite a nice thing to do BUT i believe it got killed slightly after Clan Wars FFA. Fog- The point? Apart form that its extremely easy to start off training magic useing it with no cost, i believe this just failed. Shoulda have kept this p2p only and made more powerful/useful items from it Rc Guild- Thank god its requirement is 50 is all i have to say, otherwise i could have seen this crashing rune/essence prices. Not a really necessary update tbh but i can see they wnated to increase interest in rc. Now all these updates were given to them in a space of a year, more than any they had in a long time. Now definately f2p should get occasional updates but i think the rate there getting them is what i have a problem with. The same kinda problem sprouts since alot of updates have been revolved around PvP and for someone like me who enjoys questing and trouble brewing it drives me nuts that there drifting from giving out varied updates and to just concentrating on Ex-pkers, if they were really fussed they would have left by now and im pretty sure after a year there not going to do anything (though i do realise still on forums theres some noobs who still ask for wilderness back) To others ideas: The combat triangle needs fixing on both f2p and p2p, so if they can find a way to do this any way possible that would be great. Capes of accomplishments: problem is it has quite very good stats and it is one of those items members go for so making it f2p would give backlash, i dont find it as common that f2p strive for 99 anyhow More monsters: Sorry strongly disagree with this, you start adding more monsters ur basically increasing the ways for f2p to make money with no real benefit tbh I hope that satisfys the amount of "contribution" your after, i do disagree with you scoldingof people for simply having the view that f2p doesnt need updates because sometimes they just dont deserve anything ;)
  8. I really have to start training my farming again, this should make the process easier
  9. If they made every skill like summoning with usefulness all the way up into the 90s, we'd be sorted for life
  10. We have had a recruitment topic here for a while, but we've never actually introduced ourselves so we thought we might as well ^.^ JC i know is on the events team, so big hello to him too :P
  11. Amazing how i didnt even find out about this glitch till i saw the system update that tempoarily disabled all dangerous stuff X D How there always seems to be some sort of big glitch whenever they do something big
  12. Thank you and yes i do agree, always a depressing thing when seeing clans close. An added note, i hope myself can become more active on tip.it if you havent noticied the extremely nooby post count :P
  13. Hello Tip.it! This is Blazing_pont here, one of the leaders of Breakout, a clan created on the 19th October and after steady growth is planning on making a name for itself in the clans community. First off id like to present to you our clan history so far which should tell you all alot about us. The following history is written by Jcfc, the founder of Breakout The History of Breakout The First Era - Development October 2008 On the 19th October 2008, the idea for Breakout was created by Jcfc. Originally initialled BO but changed for obvious reasons, this was created due to leadership changes in Bloodshed Kingdom (now Bloodshed Empire) which many people were unhappy about. About 8 BsK members joined Breakout - only two remain our leader Blazing and Pamela one of our recruiters. Br was officially released to the world on the 20th October. Jcfc created the rank system, attempting for it to be short and sweet. Requirements were 75+ or 90+ to join the warring legion (now dropped). This has not been changed since its creation bar the warring idea. There were some notable staff - Fishin' mage, former BsK leader, as a minister, X Men570 as Recruiter/Junior Moderator/Coordinator, and Blazing Pont & Omgausername as Coordinators - but the clan began quite slowly. Fishin', Omga and X Men, as well as Huggy Pked U (Junior Mod) left Br to try out BsE. The remaining former BsK members returned to BsE and Jcfc followed them, giving the leader access to Blazing Pont on the 26th October. Jcfc remains as the root admin however with the Retired Leader rank. The clan began to progress much faster. Many ideas implemented by Blazing, such as the Breakout Plan, began working. A new requirement, 70+ with a referral, was introduced. More and more people were joining. At the end of October, 14 members had joined - an average of about a new user per day, impressive growth for a new clan. Jcfc left BsE for AfterShock, a spin off clan from BsE made for the same reason back in January. Update: Jcfc is now clanless due to inactivity. November 2008 My unofficial Member of the Month: Blazing Pont November for Breakout was nothing but improvement. By the end of the month, the clan had surpassed 30 members on the Runehead - a massive feat for a clan that had just broken the 6 week mark. In a massive boost to spirits, Omgausername returned from BsE to help Breakout in the recruitment area, something which has rapidly improved. Pamela32000 and Da_Urbz also began to help in this area. Blazing began to show his true leadership spirit, and introduced some new measures and allied with our first ever clan - The PK Order. As this is written, Br are still helping them improve in the clanning world. Br had a new motto - Welcome Home - and its first ever clan wars event, which was a great success ( ) and showed Br's true organisation. The Mid-Winter Masquerade, aiming to improve relations between BsE and other spinoffs, saw mixed success; BsE seemed hostile to the idea and very few people showed up. Aftershock, however, were more welcoming and more members enjoyed the event. December 2008 My personal Member of the Month: Ramen Bomb The closing month of the year, with big things planned and happening. In the first monthly update, Wolfwood was promoted to warring coordinator and Castel0 to Br's minister. Plans for Christmas events were drawn up by Blazing. Just days afterwards, the staff team was improved further by introducing Ramen Bomb as a minister, Ace of Hearts as Events Coordinator and two Recruitment Coordinators in Omgausername and Thefuzzy3. Aftershock were invited to the series of Christmas events, which included Blazing's very own 99 Woodcutting party, hide and seek, and PvP events. They were largely a success. Breakout then had an activity check and this weeded out the ones that did not involve themselves with the clan. There were no large-scale demotions and a handful were kicked, showing the general dedication to the clan as a whole. Ramen Bomb, in his divine generosity (now THAT is a cool phrase), bought Breakout their own domain name, http://breakoutclan.com/. The site was then updated to use this address and to look more like a website rather than just a forum. Then, on Christmas eve, Zamostra got a surprise of her own - she was promoted to Internal Affairs due to her diplomatic skills so that she could mediate the clan and curb any wrongdoings. The clan continued from strength to strength with activity increasing across the board. For Breakout, it certainly was a very merry Christmas. January 2009 Official Member of the Month: Ramen Bomb January, and in the words of Blazing, "A new dawn is arising". Blazin' finished negotiations with Aftershock and allied with them. Omega was promoted to Elite for possibly the best reason I have ever heard: Sadly, it was on the 13th January that we lost one of our most important members - Death Note - to the dark side, as he moved on to a clan with more of a PvP focus. He continues on in the clan as the Retired Legend rank, and drops by from time to time. At the time of writing, he is currently in Blacknights under the RSN Terrablazer. The ball seriously got rolling in the mid-way point of January, when there were some more promotions - Wolfwood to minister to replace the departing Death Note, Omgausername moved to Warring coordinator, and princessterra/doomishere00 to heroes - and weekly official events were introduced. This finally gave Breakout a rigid structure from which to build upon. Member of the Month was introduced too, with the first winner being Ramen Bomb. Ace of Hearts then revamped the Official and Unofficial events system, giving unofficial events the chance to be upgraded. We also moved on to a new banner, one which shows Breakouts true community spirit. Torwards the end of the month we sadly lost another important member in the name of Wolfwood, after moving to World of Warcraft. May the elves and the orcs be with you. The Second Era - Growth to Maintain February 2009 Official Member of the Month: February started positively, with a number of promotions; All coordinators were promoted to minister and the coordinator rank was scrapped in favour of Internal Affairs, the power of Internal Affairs was increased and a number of the parliament forums changed. However, what really set this month apart was that, for the first time ever, Breakout had two leaders - Blazing Pont and now Ramen Bomb. This was a very good choice for another leader, and it was needed due to the increasing workload of the clan. Breakout was becoming big-time. ----- If you wish to ask anything about us be sure to ask, and we hope our future in your community can be a prosperous one. That noob across the street -Blazing
