I think having always lived on the west coast there has always been a struggle with using the internet when it comes to spoilers. It's not that I think spoilers are the end of the world, but there is this 3 hour window of high alert where you have to be cautious of where you look on the internet or you'll have the simplest but broad plot points revealed or completely spoiled before a show is broadcasted on the west coast.

At about 6PM sharp yesterday I had already seen my twitter feed flooded with headlines like "Jon Snow's fate revealed" which doesn't say much about the story but it let me know that a major, highly anticipated plot point is going to finally be answered in this episode which took a little sparkly out of the big moment.

So when I found myself discussing the episode today with my coworkers I was more interested in everything else that happened in the episode then with the big, worst keep secret in the history of the show, moment.

Also all the major players featured so far this season are like boarder the line between super hero/villain and gods.

There's no point to observing daylight savings. An absolute garbage tradition. Arizona doesn't observe it and it's one of the few things I miss about living there. I still had a very productive day, but my body clock is so off right now.

I also did my taxes today, it wasn't very complicated, maybe took 20 minutes total to do free with Turbo Tax online, and I'm getting a fat tax return too. So no lawyers, no help, just me, the internet, and a few clicks.

There are pros and cons to standardize testing, but from my experience standardized testing doesn't* dictate a whole lot into the day-today besides ensuring that everyone is learning at an equal level. If anything the standards should be raised or modified to reflect diversity in education to reflect the needs of the entire student body.

The most popular question that is asked to a minor: "What do you want to do/be?"

The way the education system is currently setup, the vast majority of the population can't answer that question until their mid to late 20s. There isn't enough established to help our youth discover an early passion.

At some point we'll need the quarterfinalists of 2015 to go against the quarterfinalists of 2016 to have a quarterfinalist quarterfinal before we move on to the next round of quarterfinals finals.

I'm shocked, a country so far north like Estonia would be prepared for heavy snow fall.

She got her fame from House, but yeah, I don't know why so many find her so attractive too. I think it's her forehead, honestly. I've never been into anyone that has a large forehead, it's a bit to masculine for me.

I've been cooking since my teens, I love being able to just throw shit together and know from experience that it's going to work and taste great.

Pot lucks are usually like cold salads, appetizers, quick bites type of meals. Usually the host will kind of mention like "Yeah, we're doing a pot luck Saturday, I'm making burgers/grilling chicken.." to kind of clue you in. But if you said you're bring soft drinks, I wouldn't worry much unless you want to grab chips or something. I usually try to stick to like a $10 limit as an invitee.

One of last girls I've been talking to on Tinder finally gave me her number. Did it all over a conversation talking shit and pizza. I'm done with this experiment though, it's become exhausting.

The world isn't without Bowie, you don't need the man to carry on his influence.

I feel the same way, this bowl season was disappointing, but it was bit fun this year because I ended up going out to Pasadena to watch the Cotton Bowl and we ended up getting a few Iowa students smashed in the process.

So one issue I've had since I've moved out of the house was the lack of cable. Don;t get me wrong Netflix and youtube are great but I miss Direct TV mostly for Sportscenter. So I found out while West Virginia University was playing Arizona State University that I can watch ESPN live with linking my parents DTV to my internet in the apartment. So happy now :)

We (ASU) played so horribly, I couldn't even force myself to stay awake for the conclusion of the game.

Pick up a Roku or AppleTV, I'm been "cord cutting" for the past year or so now, to stream TV using my parent's TV subscription. Works well enough that I don't see myself picking up a cable subscription of my own anytime soon.

You can gamble in any state, it just goes by a different title, investing.

I just happened to listen to a podcast last night featuring a conversation with Trevor Noah, where he gives a great account of his experience of an outsider's look at our culture that's basically evolved to this strict attitude of I'm right, you're wrong. It was a good listen, https://soundcloud.c...w-trevor-noah-1
