  1. RAM is an important - or more important than -clock speed. Head over to somewhere like dealram.com and buy at least another 256 MB (I'd go for 512). If you're only doing basic stuff, the extra 256 will be enough. If you're using any more powerful applications (Photoshop, even iMovie), then you'll want the extra 512.
  2. Bit Defender Antivirus is an fantastic option, it is script and extension-based integration with various applications and services. It does both antivirus and antispyware protection. It is mainly build for Linux also can be used for window version.
  3. Well, Using Firefox as a browser, I many times feel that my browser is bit slow down with a two to three addons installed. Can any one guide me how this add ons affect the speed of my browser.
