clearly V was killed off to prove a point that the dragonkin have killed gods and are progressing in understanding on how to overturn the curse of jas.
Wow, I thought V was a pretty swell guy, but reading that transcript, although his end game is rather good, he's rather manipulative in how he does it. Why does every god have to skip around the gray line in this game!? He's willing to go as far as Saradomin when it comes to the Ogres and others who may decide against joining him? Sheesh!
Well at least he is dead. I wish the story panned out a little differently, it would have been cool if he was a genuine swell kind of guy and lives and you go off in future quests/mini games/raids around different universes helping him save different planes from evil gods and vicious hordes of monsters!
I feel ready for this type of content, necromancy, sailing, and archaeology are all skills I've wanted since the days of classic, will be great to finally see them alongside invention! Definitely think it's the right step, low level content is just not really needed now, what we currently have is enough and it's so easy to blaze through those levels anyway.
I do feel though that when this content finally hits that Jagex should finally make a new cape that combines the uses and strengths of the TokHaar capes, Ava's alerter and maybe a couple of others, something that's useful for combat that isn't named the completionist cape. Hopefully that'll finally stop the bitterness and resentment I feel whenever I lose the bloody thing hell it can even be degradable!!

I checked the first post, and it mentions that the clan avatar buffs won't count. That implies you could join a tier 7 clan and use their loom right?
That's not in the spirit of DIY (imo) but it sounds like a possibility for craft.
Not 100% certain but I think exp is disabled in the citadel for ironman accounts.
Edit - Exp is capped at 25% of what you'd normally gain.
Finally defeated Araxxor today after 9 attempts and then proceeded to do the rest of the bosses. My current challenge is Nex and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do enough DPS for the blood phase, went in with an all range set up initially and the past few attempts I've tried a range and melee setup using Ports gear and dual asc/drygores. Any advice? I'm pretty poor at bossing dreading eventually trying to do Kalphite King, Vorago and especially Rise of the Six!
Edit - Ahh there looks to be a team I can hit up over the weekend for Nex and the Kalphite King, huzzah!
I'm somewhat disappointed that the only "choice" we get is whether to give Zaros a supposedly weakened body or to give him a strong body...
We can't just.. "walk away", I mean obviously we can not finish the quest.. but I was hoping it would be possible to just be like "nope!"
As much as I enjoyed the quest thoroughly, when it was talked about at Runefest I totally expected multiple versions of Zaros depending on how much you were willing to work alongside him, choosing different bodies/forms to limit his powers or being able to to just outright not bring him back and perhaps conclude the quest by allying with Sliske instead.
I expected Bioware quality narrative in bringing about multiple, alternative story arcs from an event, so to see that 'going against him' only results in a duller colour scheme and a particle effect around the hole in his chest...it somewhat disappoints me.
But then, just how much control can Jagex give to players when it comes to story? Makes me wonder just how big and varied the sixth age quests are going to be. It sounded originally they would be spanning multiple pathways, but now it seems like it's either one way or another. It was the same with the Owen quest lines, sure, they can give plenty of alternative dialogue, but our ability to truly impact the story line and make it very personal to ourselves doesn't seem very doable now, which to me, sounded like a big selling point around the whole idea of RS3.

I think they should have a system where they can earn the previously not claimed items each years holiday event. For example if you have 2009-2013s, you could get 2008 in 2014s holiday event then because you have that. Next year you get 2007. It builds backwards until you claim them all. meaning if you started in 2009 it would take you 7-8 years to get all event items whilst keeping up with new ones.

Bah, Jagex, let us old enough accounts who missed these events finally get hold of them (I want my scythe and bunny ears) AND open up the alternative ones to people who are willing to shell out loyalty points! Pretty please!
