RuneScape Information

  1. What I don't get about the Livid Farm is that it takes a very long time to unlock all the spells but then on top of that you can continue to play to earn points that you can spend on spells. Now if the time to earn the spells was reduced by half or so, and if the spells were fairly useful, I could see the Livid Farm being used for a long while. But, with the time it takes to earn all the spells I would assume a lot of people would burn out and treat the Livid Farm as another Mobilising Armies instead of as a continually useful activity such as stealing creation.
  2. I'm not sure if it is minimalistic, but you have a menagerie and chapel right outside the entrance portal. The study that most people use right next to a glory. I suppose that the negative is that the portal rooms are at opposite sides of the house, and the workshop is fairly far away if you weren't using a butler. But this design works well for me. I should also note that I have a dungeon of equal size in the basement.
  3. I only give out respect to those who deserve it. The guy was trying to take my spot, he had no respect for me so I justly reciprocated. If you are going to uphold the ideal of might makes right you shouldn't go cry when you are bested. I quite simply have no sympathy. Remember though, I always try put my best foot forward first. I fully expect you to quietly walk out of your house as someone attempts to rob your stuff. Protip: self-defense is not a crime.
  4. I found using a balmung in conjunction with a Nail Beast Familiar to be good. With the Balmung being so slow it usually isn't worth it to take off that last sliver of hp left, but with a talon beast it can quickly finish off dags since its attacking speed is fast and each hit separated 3 times. (It has a max hit of 50, but it hits 3x at the same time.)
  5. Nice person here. It appears as if a whole bunch of self righteous a holes have been posting. Just because you think you earned the right to steal whatever spot you want because you played more rs, it doesn't mean you aren't being rude. My biggest problem with the rs community seems to be that everyone steps on everyone else just because they can. Recently I was at the Tormented Demons and was hopping worlds and found an empty spot, as I began to kill the TD I noticed it was half dead and then shortly afterward someone came down and said "darn it, I thought I was quick". So I just finished the kill and hopped. ( Apparently that was a first for him.) Now why would I do that? because I already hopped to over 5 different worlds and knew it would be hard to fins another world for him, and I was already going through the motions so I just continued hopping. I believe in that same instance I found a world and killed a few TDs and some 130< tried taking my spot. So that just pissed me off. I couldn't damage it more than him so I just gathered up all the other Tds and led them to that spot so that neither of us could use the spot. So If I were you I would just try and get back at the spot stealer. If you can't beat them, just do your best so that no one wins.
  6. I remember them saying they would look into it shortly after it came out.
  7. I like slayer because it usually is a break from the grind of other skills. All I really pay attention to is the charms since I like summoning, and I try not to look at my slayer/cmb experience. Being surprised by level ups is ton more enjoyable than grinding towards one.
  8. I take it you never been to a pet shop? The person in there has a sell-all option for spirit shards.
  9. Whats so hard about trading in coins for spirit shards? You can buy 62.5 mil worth of shards with 2 clicks wherever they are sold. And If you want to exchange them back into coins all you have to do is go to a pet shop and use the sell-all option.
  10. You could always do the all fired up minigame. Which earns you decent experience. Only thing is that once you light up all the beacons you can you have to wait until all beacons to burn out before starting again since you won't get bonus exp if you relight a beacon when another is already lit. Kind of stupid imo since it would be perfect for you. As of now it only supplements normal firemaking.
  11. The main reason they were unable to use chat in MA I believe was because the space in which you played was too big. But considering that with Dungeoneering we are able to chat with other people on far different sides of a dungeon, maybe Jagex got around that technical difficulty. So maybe they can add chat now?
  12. Kind of hard to capture my armor and my big axe in the same picture.
  13. Darn, I was planning on making a guide just like this, but I never got myself to do it. Anyway, I found that collecting herbs while one clicking the garden was actually faster than chaos druids since it is a constant 2 herbs every <40 secs. One thing I didn't see you point out is that when you leave the garden to bank or to go to the salt pool is that you don't need to reset the garden once you get back (This makes herb gathering much easier and faster). After you sync #1 and #4, then brute force your way through every other one, every elemental will be synced. If you take into account #5 location and direction at the moment #1 and #4 are synced in which you are able to pass you will be able to continue 1-clicking. If I remember correctly, #5 will be synced every three #1 & #4 syncs. EDIT: gah I didn't read your other post about the 3 cycles. I'd also like to add that you can rest just before running through again which recovers some run energy. And since herb runs are shorter you can have more time to rest, and at 71 agility I was replenishing all the run energy i used up every iteration.
  14. You can generally break even or even make a small profit crafting mithril bolts or arrowtips. You should check the prices before you start since one or the other may make more money. Also remember to bring a sacred clay hammer for 2x exp. I would say it is definitely worth it, you get decent exp, it breaks even, and its not boring since there are other people you can talk too.
  15. You are only allowed to build a statue once a week. It'll stop you if you try to put the last rock on the statue. So we won't know what the statue does in 7 months.
