  1. Really? There's a pinned thread to rant about customer service? I must have missed it. You do get that I'm not complaining about being muted, right? My issue concerns not being able to contact Jagex and the stupidity of them not having live customer service.
  2. I sign into RS and I'm standing there cutting ivy. Some kid starts talking to me so I type in my reply but nothing shows when I hit enter. Being a lvl 138 I'm familiar with the rules of the game. I might get a little mouthy or rude from time to time but I'm very careful to not say anything that violates the rules or could be viewed as offensive. After some messing around on the Jagex customer support page I finally check my to see if I might have been muted for some unknown reason. The page says that my account is muted but I have received no messages explaining the mute and I have no way to appeal it. This is a little frustrating since I have no idea what I may have done wrong and I can't contact anyone to see what the problem is. So does Jagex mute players now without sending a message telling them why and giving them a chance to appeal? Getting fed up real fast with the lack of ability to contact customer service. What other business of any type on the face of this earth does not give you at least some way to contact customer service?
  3. Autotyping - Slightly annoying but in the grand scheme of things it doesn't really effect me in any way. I'm not really sure why anyone not in a merch clan is standing in the GE for long enough that autotyping would bother them. If autotypers at pest control are bothering you then get off the dock and into the actual game. That's what you are there for to begin with. As for all of the hate towards merch clans try using them to your advantage. I have never been a part of a merch clan but I pay attention to the items that they are exploiting and then I go and get those items. By going with whatever the merch clans are manipulating you do two things. 1. You add more of that item to the game so the price comes down. 2. You can get filthy rich while the prices are high. I made over 100 mil when D-boots were in short supply and I did it all within the rules of the game by fighting spirit mages all day. Basically, my point is quit crying, stay within the rules of the game and benefit from whatever happens to be the flavor of the day.
