RuneScape Information

  1. oh well, there goes my money-maker temporarily... looks like ill give DG a try again.
  2. I just have a quick question. Why have addy ores been dropping in price for a while? EDIT: sorry for the double post, I was confused as to the use of the cancel button.
  3. Does anyone know why adamantite ore has been on a steady decline in price for a while now?
  4. Agreed. The village looks a lot more open now which I like. I believe you are placed in there if you die while fighting count draynor in the vampire slayer quest. You use the crack to escape the prison.Only what I've heard though, don't quote me on it. :P Looks like my noob account can accomplish something after all lol. I'll have to get back to you on this.
  5. Well, thats annoying... now i either have to do mith bars or just addy ores... Anyway, though I am a melee person, I would love to see more balance in the triangle, or a set up where the triangle is not necessary.
  6. It (read: wave spells and magic bows) would probably balance things out for the most part, but because neither range nor mage are really that efficient or powerful in F2P, most people are meleers. So there you probably be mase raging by the general population over the fact that they can no longer kill a mage without taking off their full rune. Just a guess. In light of that, I want to get my magic level up. Do I need 70 smithing to superheat addy bars?
  7. And I give your arguments no respect because all they are is a string of one ad hominem after another. They aren't necessary; you could have said what you wanted without insulting people. OT: I think that it is a little better than 6 months ago. I rather liked the HP update just because when I started making a range pure I could see that leveling it up was actually accomplishing something; I knew that it was helping, but sometimes it helps to have slightly more tangible results. Dungeoneering was fun too, but the experience cap really sucks. And as for CW, instead of just listening to people's oppinions, why not get a month of membership, and try it out for yourself? If you like it, congratulations, you just got back (what I assume to be) your favorite minigame, and if you don't, then you have a month to level up or whatever before you go back to F2P if you so desire.
  8. The autograph part was easy if you kept in mind that he was replying to what you were supposed to say next, but I have to admit, it was pretty frustrating until I figured that out.
  9. I agree with zamorakninja. Having a clear cut rock-paper-scissors type of combat, although it would have certain pros, such as forcing people to be more balanced between the three, would get boring rather fast. I think that mages would ultimately lose out because in F2P they would not have room to carry another set or two of armor, runes, and food; it just wouldn't work. In P2P, with beasts of burden, it would be better, but in the even that you somehow lost your pack animal, you would be totally, completely, screwed. Gladly, but I'm F2P so all you have are blast spells. Sounds fun, doesn't it? Although, I have no doubt you could thoroghly own me with range or melee, but that wouldn't really be proving your point. Sorry, I just kinda had to say that :P
  10. I agree completely, but I have to point out that my rubber chicken will always be a rubber chicken. So, yes new players are getting a version of it, they aren't getting the actual thing. Now, if Jagex turned around and started giving out rubber chickens, bunny ears, and easter rings that would be pretty angry. And I think your point about never looking at the rewards again might be fueling their idea. They could be reasoning that no one will notice.
  11. Haha... you're a funny one <_< Thank you for reading too much into it. All I was trying to get across is that longbows are supposedly way more powerful than shortbows, but the damage and range [read distance] boost in game is not enough to make the longbow a legitimate counterpart to the short bow. All it is right now is a slower version of the shortbow that has a chance to do an extra 10LP or so damage.
  12. Granted. I wish people would listen to my ideas more.
  13. Lol, I think the really fun part of that was when I had wised up to the luring... I had somewhat good smithing, so I'd make some crappy armor. Then wait for those tell tale Black Platebodies or whatever just North of Edgeville and suicide for it  ahh good times, good times... Yea, I'd bring back that noobiness I once had if I could. I miss the adventure.
  14. It seems kinda prophetic :P I have seen many more threads just disolve into flaming in the past few weeks than I thought was normal. Or maybe I'm just unlucky... So if its not that I'm unlucky, I agree with he who posted this almost 3 years ago, namely that people need to chill out.
