would like to join a f2p clan ^^
  1. So.. I still can't decide what to get for my 40k tokens (when i get them) which will be pretty soon, i calculated i will have 40k tokens upon reaching lvl 67 and i am lvl 65 atm. I think i need some good meele weapon that will make training meele skills more fun, my lowest skill is attack lvl 51, yes even my prayer lvl is higher (54). So whats a good gravite weapon to use to train, probably gonna me are red spiders in s.o.s. or someplace else, got any tips btw?
  2. The gravite shortbow would be better because it's speed is 6 as opposed to a longbows 4. The much higher attack bonus in the longbow sight doesn't make up for the loss in speed as most F2P monsters have low defence, so you will always hit on them regardless. Now I just confirmed that the gravite shortbow is indeed what I may be getting :) Well if the hat is out of the question for the cheap recharge price of 15 tokens (like 2 matches in fog) then the gravite shortbow must also be with a 1M cost of rechagre every 10 hours of use. So if we stick to a the coif instead and are choosing bow between maple longbow (sighted) and maple shortbow, i still am not convinced the maple shortbow would be better as it would hit more zeros and waste time and arrows.
  3. In terms of range attack bonus, yes. For training purposes the maple longbow w/sight is still slower than a maple shortbow. The gravite shortbow would be a slightly better choice than the maple shortbow, with regards to xp/hr. You'd only see the benefit of the high range attack bonus of the maple longbow w/sight during PVP or minigame situations versus metal armoured or high def lvl opponents... So why would a shortbow be better, if has slightly better rate of fire but only +40 att bonus instead of +110 wouldn't that mean a lot more zeros hence less exp.
  4. Best f2p ranged set? I think I might got my hands on it: any comments?
  5. Nah, untrimmed dungeonerring cape is the most rare. ;) lol good call! xD
  6. F2Pers with 90 combat or higher get an automatic 50% reduction in experience. This is overcome by having very weak players in your party. I suggest you train your runecrafting enough that you can craft any rune, or at least to decent type runes like chaos runes. I'd also suggest you duo with someone who has good melee, it'll go faster. I can craft up to Law which enables me to use the gatestone teleport and my skills are all pretty even so i seldom run in to skill doors i can't open. Thanks for the tip, i am gonna look for some ppl to team up with. What about the difficulty, sorry don't understand this as mine is always 1:1 playing solo. What does it mean and how will it affect my exp?
  7. I am lvl 41 dungoneering and lvl 66 combat, i have just been soloing using magic, but i am finding that as i am on the lower floors close to 20 the 125 death runes i have bound are barley enough to make it. =S EDIT: What is this thing about being lvl 90 combat? and if you are over you need to bring some lvl 3s? can someone please explain?
  8. okay i just need to find a team to go dungoneering with, soloing at lvl 6 complex only give me like 1000-1500 exp / floor =(
  9. oh, i never even though of it... just sold a few items to the smuggeler in the rare case i needed cash... anyone know where to find a team to go dungoneering with?
  10. It's 1 million GP without tokens, or 100k with a token price (can't remember, it was quite high though). Therefore, I deem gravite weapons only worth it if you're ultra-rich, and if you train a lot of combat. Otherwise, *tosses out of window* well if it's that much i guess there are other things to better spend the money on. Also i was wodering: what's the best way to exp dungeneering? i am only lvl 41 atm and have been soloing only since every time i tried to go as a teem i ended up stuck with ppl not playing seriosly and beeing super slow. Do you need to have a good clan or something and team up like 5 ppl? i don't know anyone who plays rs, lol
  11. That was pretty much what my conclusions came too as well. Does anyone actually know what the cost of recharging is? Cash in f2p is useless anyway, except for buying things to exp, rune ess, coal, big bones, etc.
  12. Buying essence from the smuggler and selling the air runes back grants you a profit if you have higher than 44 runecrafting. oh, so does it still work? still sounds like a waste of time, i never even bother picking coins up, and the exp from doing rc in dungeneering is crap...
  13. Jagex changed the price back to 12 gp again. I guess they are being kind because of the huge exp nerf... What infinite cash trick? Please explain ^^
  14. Well as the title states: With the introduction of the new dungeneering rewards what is the best f2p melee weapon: Gravite 2h sword Gravite longsword Gravite rapier or do you still prefer rune scimitar? or maybe something else? keep in mind only f2p melee weapons... i would make it a survey but i can't find that function in the forum... please let me know since i don't know which one to get and i will only be able to afford 1 gravite weapon.
  15. Okay, i guess that would make sense, but how come my prestige is always equal to the floor exp for that level, it raided for the first time. E.g. floor 3 is 106 exp and so my prestige would also be 3 if i raided lvls 1-3 for the first time. Still don't get how this works, but i guess the best way to exp is just repeating lvls 1-max level you can complete over and over again and resetting in between, as to complexity levels, no. of ppl in a party and method what's the fastest way to gain exp?
