  1. I'm assuming you're talking about killing something to 99 def. In that case, you'll probably train on something that you hit a lot, and will want to maximize your damage output. Whip+def would be optimal with str boosting armor. Godsword shouldn't really be an option anyway.
  2. So I need to pm one of the ranks to dg with you guys now? You guys are an actual clan now? First time dealing with this friend chat/new clan chat business.

    Ugh.

Are you even remotely suggesting that Durial should have gotten away with less? Come on, he and the "lucky" few others killed dozens of people, ROBBING them of their hard-earned wealth, including phats (neither of these mistakes actually harm someone directly, only the arrogant merchers who already have 10 times the money they'll ever need just in cash). There were two solutions, reimburse everyone exactly what they lost and take all of Durial's ill-gained wealth, or ban Durial. Guess which one is possible to do in practice? Also, scamming, RWT, it's all just a "transfer of wealth" as you say. Why are they against the rules again? You're arguing my case, this is what I'm talking about. Scamming and RWT today is rampant and not really being addressed. Killing someone and taking their items upsets people more because there's loss to one of the players involved, but a few lucky players bringing lots of cash into the game doesn't negatively affect anyone, so it's not really an issue anymore. How is bug abuse not ill gained wealth? You're missing my point, my point is the policy on bug abuse needs to be revised, because obviously it doesn't mean what it used to. So am I, they don't seem to care about their community... This is becoming a bigger issue but it's mostly ignored. I laughed the other day because a forum mod moved something and posted "Jagex isn't likely to address this anyway" The community doesn't really trust or care for the developers anymore.

    Ugh.

The exp and gp doesn't bother me, because I feel that's more the bot argument and that's a whole different situation. I don't want them to be banned, but the response from jagex is disappointing. It bothers me how they are so tolerant about things like this. I mean, someone running around falador killing people had no effect on the economy whatsoever, it was just a transfer of wealth, and no experience was gained but he was flat banned no questions asked. Maybe they should just revise their policy so bug abuse is "acceptable when no significant damage has been done" or however they phrased it. I'm not all about omg punish the abusers because I know had I been in that clan I would have gone and killed it too. I'm upset at jagex for their policies.

    Ugh.

It's not the fact that people got rich off this, what really bothers me is that Jagex is content with letting instances like this slide when years ago there was a strong zero tolerance policy on bug abuse.

    Ugh.

I don't normally spread hate and discontent but I'm really fed up with a lot of the crap jagex comes out with. Bonus gp hour everyone. QFC to jagex response: 15-16-96-62545820
  7. I dunno if it still is but I remember seeing dual wielding as one of the "do not suggest" topics on rsof. I think it would be way overpowered, unless it was heavily restricted.. but such restrictions would just make it pointless and only for looks.
  8. It's already been done. There were lots of player mods and some jmods in there. The amount of players on the soul wars worlds and in soul wars decreased dramatically. Although the bots will just come back.
  9. Oh yes I realized that but I was just throwing more opinions out there. The crafting experience is somewhat negligible I feel. Granted I'm not really one to talk with my low crafting.
  10. I'm so far into it and know it so well I just keep playing. It's cheap. I like the skills and can solo almost everything. Browser based and doesn't take much of a computer to run it. It's mindless but a more fun mindless than say minesweeper. If I ever find something better I'd start doing that instead though.. But I just haven't found anything I liked better.
  11. Superheating gold is a good source of smithing experience and is the one of the reasons I'm mining gold in the first place. I don't care so much about the crafting experience because there are better ways to get crafting experience; the gold bars will probably sit in my bank.
  12. Honestly, I would do death or blood runes. That's death or blood runes period, not death or blood until any level. I get more money that way than with double nats and it's easier because you don't have to call the graahk away from the other 1000 graahks. I haven't done it in a while so you'll have to check prices, but I did get more money with deaths than bloods because you can a small multiplier with deaths. But I think astrals are more experience per hour.. Most of my levels were done casually or a while back so I can't tell you specific numbers. I also did not do ZMI.
  13. I dunno, it might not go up so much. Honestly I'm just going to superheat my gold ores.
  14. I remember seeing those essence runs and they were massive. More so for popular/famous players. Especially when the general store was "stocked" with essence. TBH I don't think anyone will get 200m in everything. It would take too long, and people would just lose interest. Anyone who's played runescape for a significant period of time knows that there are periods of time where you're really into it, and you get tons of experience.. then later you don't really play so much anymore. Although the way things look now, I think zarfot could if he really wanted. He is very good at training skills. Aasiwat could also do it I think. Aasiwat changed their name to something else now though. It still probably won't happen though.
  15. Hmm, it's not plugged in the microphone jack is it? Have you tried updating or reinstalling the drivers? Or if something was installed and messed up the sound you can check the sound devices in the device manager to make sure it's still listed there I gotta go to the store so I can't think of much else, I'll check back later
