  1. what a d**n shame...stupid holiday event once again
  2. it is possible, i was ranked top 200 before i got banned but i didnt have any of those
  3. been playing since october of 2001, and yeah i remember the old timers...my friend has hundreds of pics (deleted mine when changing comps)...i remember hearing about the black room, going down into the black hole also, running into paul and andrew...getting 1 hit by paul with 70+ hp in a fun duel, zonghui muhahahaha ladykilljoy tks l6vi (he came back) everdred cowchicken bluerose13x ladydejavu blueheart zar family 2 s a x gearshifter a s h l e y blick snake slava/slavik maniac666 llama0 bwareofmef sandytrain (she was awesome) lclyocnty swtkittn jamie2002 moridin crypt uk kryptix svulle mrs runite (or ms runite or something) the old nite thehate adunakhor sunli syzygy nitestalker8 trixstar pugxsi ashley white rob10 ma cypress nibiru bibbleboy ghjjf manjagirl (hell of a merchant) dr dead ant lyko jagger main simon101 df2 player chewy_spree / chewy__spree - scamming mage staker who was invincible...i staked him a red hat mage on with supers when i was 95 combat and he was 50 and i never hit him once with melee/magic, nor did my friends simon101 (85+) and crypt uk (105+) ...the list can go on but id have to hit the highscores and such since its been some time since rsc...
  4. 1 mil chef hats...i used to collect them from classic and such but theyre gone now -.-... or 1m rune ess so i could get 91+
  5. my scythe, not many 69's walking around with one...
  6. I realize that but im just goin off what the db is tellin me. I also didn't think there was a specialty store but accordin to the db there is so i don't know who to believe... there isnt a shop that sells them (to my knowledge) unless people sell to the general store, the price of 100gp is determined from the alching value because high alching gives 60% of what the shop would sell it for example: a normally stocked steel plate sells for 2k in the shop (last i knew)...2k * .6 = 1200 which is what you get when high-alching thats how they determined what the store price would be
  7. when i barrowed, thats all i did was get 6kc and ive only had 2 drops in probably the 35-40 runs ive done (2 guthan helms) and i never got bolt racks, half keys or whatnot...usually runes and cash which is fine by me tbh...but if what other people get determines what youll get then yes, KC does not matter...we could also look at it from a more complex standpoint and state that each outlying variable plays a part in what you get (damage taken from each monster, time spent getting to chest, time taken to kill each barrow brother, number of monsters encountered while running, pathway taken, number of doors entered and number of doors to find 6th brother, weapon/armor/food of choice...etc...) but i dont think jagex incorporated all of that...we shall await the data though
  8. im sorry but thats a horrible idea in the sense that the idea of having horses in RS was shot down ages ago so why would they incorporate flying dragons...but who knows what jagex will do these days besides butcher RS even more
  9. heres what i would recommend... mine iron until 60 (6758 iron ore from base 40 to base 60) sell it roughly 80-100 ea (540k - ~676k) buy iron bars 225 ea (2400 bars with 540k cash) smith them and either alch/sell (60k xp) OR mine iron until 60 then mine coal in the guild to use all the iron (youll be 72 mining, ~43,353 exp from 73) and get some iron bars by either mining and smelting excess iron or just buy the bars to get 30 smithing...smelt the steel and sell it 600 ea (smelting 6758 steel bars = 118,265 exp = lvl 52 from lvl 30) which would bring in roughly 4,054,800 gp...then buy iron bars with that money (@ 225 each = 18021 iron bars = 450,525 exp, which would get you to lvl 67 smithing, 36,242 exp from lvl 68) my suggestion tbh would be the second option...if you smelted and smithed the steel, youd get less exp for your money but it would be ~3x faster since its ~1/3 the bars... Heres to show 15 steel (9k cash) = 825 exp smelted and smithed 9k cash = 40 iron bars (225 ea) = 1k smith exp difference of 175 exp now do that over the course of 6758 steel bars 6758 / 15 = 450.533333... 450.53333...* 175 = 78,843.33333 experience so almost 79k exp difference...that would leave you around 6,307 exp from 66 smithing...so your choice in the end :D * id calculate this using a price of 250 each for an iron bar...but i have an english assignment to do so you can do that yourself if you wish...and im pretty sure all my numbers are correct (if not pm me because i hate being wrong)...cheers :D
  10. I did play it because I was obsessed with MMORPG games and I loved the game the first second i started playing...now i shiver and am sickened at the thought of logging into rs2
  11. I have quit twice so far...and dont plan on returning First time was when my main for 5+ years got banned (118cb with 1876 total no hunter/construction) for what jagex called "macroing" which i told them was utter bs... Came back a year later and played my old rsc iron pker for a few then just figured...I have a life now (i did not have one while playing DjKarate) so why come back? but i pop online here and there when im bored to death and my g/f is busy at work and no karate events going on...
  12. +1 to that, quit the game since you are in college and stuff (its boring and i missed 3 pages of notes in psychology writing this because its outline form) :shame:
  13. for my first 99 (cooking in rsc) i was like...woohoo!!! for my second 99 (fletching) i was like...yay... for my third 99 (firemaking) i was like...thank god thats over... so in essence i dont give a squat anymore since i quit
  14. lets say each run is not determined by the outcome of the last so therefore you can go 100s of runs without a drop since 90% of the time (according to the data) you wont get a drop...just create a random number generator from 1-10 or 1-10000 or something and see how many times you get numbers below 10% (which would indicate how often you get a barrows drop according to this data)...then take into consideration if each run is based off the previous, do other people's outcome determine yours? there are many outlying factors that can explain why people go 100s of runs without a drop...nice data though...too bad moridin isnt around...he did a huge data compilation with bell-shaped curves and statistical analysis to prove something (cant remember, friend irl showed me it around 4 years ago)
