Grimy's spreadsheets

22 August 2013 - 12:52 AM

Table of Contents Spreadsheet

Grimy has put me in charge of his old skilling spreadsheets, I have remade them with new methods and the information in them is presented more clearly.
You do not need to download anything to use them. Most spreadsheets have a specifications sheet (a tab at the bottom of the page), to edit the specifications you need to make a copy of it. To make a copy sign into your google account (if you use gmail or have a youtube account then you already have a google account), go to the spreadsheet, click file at the top left and click "make a copy" and you will have a copy to edit.

Please post with suggestions or if you notice any figures being peculiarly high or low let us know.

Old rs toolbar utility

06 June 2013 - 10:56 AM

I remember a long time ago seeing a website which allowed you to view the information for your runescape toolbar without having to install it. It worked by you getting some code from the runescape website and entering it on their website, they could then access the toolbar information and display it on their website for you to view. This was safe because you only had to enter your password on the runescape website in order to get the code.
I would like to develop something using this principle and it would help a lot if I could get another look at this utility. Unfortunately I can't seem to find the website that offered this and there is no guarantee that it still exists.
If anyone knows of this website could you please direct me to it? Many thanks.

Delve into daemonheim xp

05 April 2013 - 11:30 PM

Hey, I've interested in finding formulae relating your skill level and the amount of xp you receive for completing a daily challenge. Some challenges are different so there is lots to investigate. I am most interested in the delve into daemonheim challenge because that is certainly the most rewarding at high levels so I think this is a good place to start. Of course I cannot test every level myself so I'm looking for your help in collecting a list of the xp at different levels. I wont need to know it at every level, just enough so that I can find a formula for it.

At the moment I've collected these figures

70 dungeoneering- 50699 xp
80 dungeoneering 67681 xp
88 dungeoneering- 83915 xp
91 dungeoneering- 93012 xp
93 dungeoneering- 97822 xp
96 dungeoneering- 102000 xp
97 dungeoneering- 107993 xp
98 dungeoneering- 107993 xp
99 dungeoneering- 113364 xo
100 dungeoneering- 113364 xp
104 dungeoneering- 124k xp
112 dungeoneering- 149944 xp
113 dungeoneering- 156823 xp
115 dungeoneering- 163k xp
116 dungeoneering- 163943 xp
120 dungeoneering- 178932 xp

I would prefer if you could give exact figures instead of rounding it to the neared 1000xp but it wont matter too much if the formula is a little off :)

The Slayer model

08 January 2013 - 03:17 PM

Version 9.2 Here

The slayer model is a spreadsheet tool that requires no download. It can be used to predict various outcomes of your personal slayer task list such as how long your goal will take and how many charms you will get. I have been testing slayer on and off for over 2 years and have created this tool, I hope you can make great use of it :)
To use it you simply need to log in to your google account, click file and click make a copy and then you will be able to edit your copy to suit how you prefer to slay.

VIrus scanning an iPad

12 May 2012 - 01:34 PM

For reasons which I do not want to give out I think I may have a virus on my iPad. Though I realise that viruses for non-windows operating systems are rare I am almost certain it was not from an Virus on my laptop.
The only idea I was was to look at the list of anti Virus apps but they are all at least a year out of date. It is an iPad 1 if that makes any difference.
I would appreciate any advice you could give :)
