  1. why would someone spend ~$30k to save a couple hundred hours? and let's not pretend anyone with even close to that much rsgp doesn't think in those terms
  2. my calcs take into account capping at 200m in either one of these skills and then just continue with woodcutting or fishing in c2. not taking into account a training method which is about 2x faster than the best overworld xp is just stupid imo. If they really want to get all 200m first they will work this hard for it. Running long and curved bones is way over twice as fast as mahogany tables. Why don't you include that in your calculations then? it isn't when you include the time it takes to open the implings, and it's at least double the price of mahogany tables afaik. It's really only an advisable method if done on a bxp weekend, as you can open all the impling jars beforehand.
  3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBSCwxcoou0 This method isn't new we discussed it in 2011 after conesz made a video of it. The patch only fixed using overloads while under 500 lp which meant you didnt need to bank for more potions. It hardly affects speed since you need to bank fairly often but now with eoc it's easier to do it since you can drink pots with your action bar.You could also use the mechanic to fish fast http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3M5o0kHNhD0 Edit: Lol drowns is calling it new even though he has his own vid of the fishing and knows its been around for 2 years. "My last video was really old so here is a new one. In this video I have an arctic bear, an enhanced yaktwee stick (gives 5% bonus xp in hunter), and I'm drinking from potions before I lay each trap (sets up the trap in just 1 game tick, rather than 3), all of which I didn't have in my older video. I'm also using a different trap layout. By the way, it's no secret that drinking from a potion before you lay a trap saves you a couple of game ticks, it just wasn't a viable method until you could use the action bar. So I'm not claiming this as my method or anything." that's from the video description
  4. Donate plz should serve as an example to all top players. This game is pointless, and ought to be quit outright.
  5. No need to "appease", I do not really care to be appeased. It's just a personal value of mine to be accurate, exact, and understand things fully. If you don't share it that's fine. take note of the timestamps lol; I was appeasing foot, not you. I thought what I was saying was implicitly relative, but clarified after foot's response.
  6. I'm not entirely sure of the gp/xp. Would depend entirely on how much you are paying for your runners. It has a raw cost of ~4 gp/xp to begin with. It's not a pointless semantical argument, there is a subtle, but non-trivial difference. >Jabber's hrs are inflated >no every1 else's hours are deflated@@ >not semantics lol anyway this thread completely lacks any meaningful discussion and i've recently quit, so feel free to argue more about the meaning of semantics and whether or not you're arguing about semantics.
  7. Actually his hours to max wouldn't change based on slayer xp rates since he is 99 Slayer, so it's not logical to say his hours are inflated. Rather, everybody who is not 99 Slayer has "deflated" hours assuming the Slayer rates are overestimated. This is such a pointless semantical argument; it's something Jebrim would do to deflect the actual point and condecsend at the same time, but I'll rephrase to appease you: his hours are inflated with respect to everyone elses' hours. Also, when i was getting 99 smithing I timed a few perfect inventories and extrapolated the max superheats/hr to be ~1886. 1800 casts/hr is a pretty easily maintainable average, but it doesn't surprise me at all that Jebrim does around 1500/hr. It's unnecessary to talk about how perfect my perfect inventories were btw. I'm positive that I timed them correctly, and if truely perfect inventories are any faster it would be irrelevant to the point I was making anyway.
  8. Jabberwoky told me that foot's calculator overestimates xp/hr based on his average rates, so his hours to max are inflated. He also told me that he made around 400m from slayer, which will allow him to use runners for most if not all of runecrafting, inflating his hours to max even more. All of this coupled with the fact that he's outpacing Jebrim gives me hope that someone who doesn't suffer from a rare form of autism might max first.
  9. jabberwoky or donate plz if he stops being a burn out
  10. jabberwoky is doing over 100 hr weeks currently and donate plz is sleeping 10+ hrs/day lol
