RuneScape Information

  1. I don't understand what you mean with bottomline DPS, but from my experience ranging in dungeoneering a longbow is better then a shortbow. Longbows are a ton more accurate, thus they hit atleast once every 3-4 shots. A shortbow however, does barely hit a one out of ten shots fired. On lower lvl mages however, I agree, a shortbow has a lot more DPS. But most mages appearing in a dung are T11 and with my longbow I still barely deal decent damage. As for you stating that the shortbow with saggi arrows kills a T11 mage faster then a primal 2h (same for hellies/demons/brutes), I tend to hit those T11 mages once every other hit (using my longbow), the primal 2her however, seems to demolish a mage with ease. I've ranged 1-97 dungeoneering now and I'm 100% on the longbow currently being the best bow, because it actually hits sometimes. Oh well, in the end, it's best for a ranger to just key dungeons. Ranging at the moment is horrible. I've been suggesting a crossbow for ages, but doubt we'll ever get it.
  2. Actually, chaotic bolts would be ok. They'd cost 25 tokens each, with the same reqs as chaotic crossbow (ofc), and would be slightly better that onyx bolts. I could see that working. But honestly, spears are nearly useless anyway. Charged boltrack @ 200k please? :x
  3. You got tickets to the London show? Lucky bastard. Did not. I've seen the live broadcast as I said. :P
  4. Pfft.. My fav bands.. Here'll go. Rise Against Anti-Flag (Knew them 2 days before I went to gig.. Best 15 bucks I've ever spent) Bad Religion Scorpions (Went to Berlin to see them lol. Had a amazing weekend) Lynyrd Skynyrd Dio / Black Sabbath during Dio's days / Rainbow during Dio's days. Blind Guardian (Schooltrip in Rome.. And Blind Guardian played.. So I went. Only saw half the show cuz we had some uphold (Kids being lost in pompei... Peebreak cuz my mate needed to pee, traffic jam after peebreak... Gah >.<) Halestorm (No, not Alestorm. I knew these guys some months before I went to Disturbed, Papa Roach, Buckcherry and well, Halestorm. Liked their music, but thought nothing special.. Then I went to the concert.. Definitly along with Anti-Flag and Scorpions the best gig I've been at. Loved it, best band of the night. Disturbed and Papa Roach sucked balls lol, Buckcherry was good aswell). Dead By Sunrise Golden Earring Recently much into NYCHC like Minor Threat, Agnostic Front, Blood For Blood and Black-Flag aswell.
  5. Glam/Hiar metal is epic. Steel Panther, Motley Crue, Buckcherry, Quiet Riot.. Love it! (Steel Panther shows actually are age 21+ lol).
  6. Seeing as Rise Against is my favourite band, I've been looking forward to this album a lot. Then.. Help Is On The Way got realised, I think it sounded okay, but now, 2 months later it just bores me. Architects however, is I think a good song and along with Satelites and Make It Stop the best of the album. Overall (Listened to the album like ~10 times now), I'd say it's a decent/good album, but not perfect anymore like Sirens Songs, Sufferer & The Witness, Unraveling and Revo's Per Minute. Not let down, but not happy with the album either. As for the way they perform it live.. I'd say it's [bleep]ing amazing. (Sadly, the show I went to had a horrible crowd... and worst of all.. Tim was ill, so they played 1h 30m skipped Hero Of War (Which I do not mind, it made me smile to hear like 30 people walking out saying.. 'Why they didn't play hero of war... why!?'). Best song of that night was by far, Alive 'N Well (13 march, tilburg). However, the live broadcast in London @ Electric Ballroom, Tim had gotten better again and Rise Against threw a amazing show. Enjoyed every minute of it, even when they were playing Appeal To Reason songs. Must say, I love the instrumental extra bit in Savior, even though it's for me, the worst Rise Against song. Oh well, I'll just wait patiently (and hope) for another more raw album, more hardcore!
