  1. If you haven't already figured it out... Because there are three doors to choose from and you're choosing randomly you have about a 33% chance of choosing correctly. Then the host removes a door as an option. If you are indeed wrong about your first choice, then the prize could have originally been in either of the two doors you didn't choose. The host would know which door didn't have the prize and removes that door for you. He is helping you by effectively combining the total probability of the two doors into one door because he would have gotten rid of the wrong door no matter which door the prize was behind. This was horrendously explained and you're better off searching for the explanation on the internet somewhere :-( But I thought I would post it anyway.
  2. Minus airsoft guns, this is basically my elementary school experience.
  3. Most of the time I go eat somewhere with free refills, I will fill it once before, once while, and then, if it's half gone, I will fill it up before I leave. However, it is not okay to sit around loitering and continuing to get refills, nor is it okay to simply dump the refills into a larger container to take out with you. For one thing, they can indeed kick you out for loitering... so don't do that. And as to the second larger container comment, I see the size limitation as a limit on what you can take out of the place at once. That is, if you have a larger container, then at the end of a meal you get a larger pop to take along. If you were to fill up the giant jug with a bunch of refills, then I would see you as knowingly taking advantage of something there to for your benefit to begin with.
  4. My favorite series is WoT, by far. I would probably put LotR next in line, though *nods*. I don't have a favorite book, sadly, so no tips there. P.S. For anyone who hasn't read WoT, shame on you
  5. It isn't due to the rune the metal... that was introduced later. I was sick of seeing that, so I posted :-)
  6. I've had plenty of mature conversations, but the vast majority of them have been with a small number of people through private messaging
  7. Well, I don't know if it's related, but the high score list says that my fishing lvl is unranked, yet it's like 78 (or something, I haven't played in a while). Everything else seems to be fine, just fishing is different. P.S. I am currently banned for a members payment error, so... *shrugs*
  8. RFD and the rsc Legend's quest. There is no doubt in my mind that the Legend's quest was the hardest quest I have ever done/probably ever will do. It just felt so rewarding to finish as well. I love that quest.
  9. *remembers his year old level 3 clue in the bank* Too bad I'm not a member anymore *shrugs*
  10. I love how people like to point out that Jagex isn't original.... Some people wouldn't be happy unless every single thing in the game didn't come from somewhere. However, I think it's cool that they would take things from the world; it's somewhat interesting. And as for copying ideas off other places (WoW, someone said, even though WoW wasn't even the first to use degrading stuff...), it wasn't a very original idea, and it makes sense to "copy" (use) ideas that work
  11. I know what you mean. I lost probably a good 15 mil in stuff from laggin at gargoyles once.... I was able to make the money back from kill the KQ, but it sucked for a long while and drained my cash. There wasn't anyone else at gargs... so I assume that it just disappeared :-P Bumma
  12. Prince Ali Rescue was the last f2p quest for me as well. It was when Legend's had just come out and I needed to finish that quest to get some needed qp's. I'm glad I finally did it, even though I don't go through that gate often P.S. I actually begged some guy for some ashes who was firemaking instead of going to do it myself. Hehe, I'm lazy. Edit: I guess technically RM... but that's a lame answer
  13. 8 mil when I bought it (a long while ago) and I can kill abyssal demons so.... no, I hate it. The price drop makes them far too accessible. People should have to work more to get the money to get the best weapon in the game... It doesn't take very long to make the money as is :-\ Oh well, such is life, eh?
  14. Druidic Ritual = first members quest Cook's assistant = first quest eva! (way back in Jan '02)
