RuneScape Information

  1. I'm sorry if this has been brought up before, but I heard Summoning now counts as an offensive skill when calculating combat level? [ (Attack/Strength/Magic/Range/Summoning) + (Defence) + 2 = Combat Level) ]
  2. Hi Tip.it, my name's Kevin. I'm a 16 year old boy. Oh, and I'm asian just for the record. About Me: I think all sports are pretty rad. I used to run track (100m, 200m, relays), as well as play tennis and soccer. I know how to play the trumpet, alto sax, and the piano, but I haven't picked up the first two in ages. I'm a techie. I'm interested in computer engineering or computer science for the future. I am currently learning C (a programming language), and plan to learn C++, Java, C#, HTML, the whole slew of things to add to my library. Making a video game sounds neat to me, and thats one of the reasons I'm learning programming languages. I'm trying to learn Unity as well (a game making program). On the flip side of things, I'm also very into video production and graphics. You know, After Effects, Photoshop, Maya, Flash, Inventor, etc. A lot of people are into lots of effects and action videos, and I think that's cool too, but I'm one of those guys that like color correction and good cinematography. I mean I can't color correct videos that great (I don't even know how), but I really want to be able to. I think good color really brings out the awesomeness in videos, as well as a good use of bokeh and a variety of shots. I plan to start a YouTube channel sometime, just making shorts or action shorts. Gaming-wise, I have a dead Xbox 360 and a PS3. I haven't touched them in like almost a year. That's because I sorta made a commitment not to play video games as much. But, I do game quite frequently on the computer now. My favorite games are the Call of Duty series, Battlefield series, TF2, and Runescape. I used to hate using keyboard and mouse, but soon enough, I got hooked. I joined Runescape around 2006. I call it the golden ages. It was months right before the various crackdowns started happening. I remember not doing the Halloween event because my friends said Grim Reaper's dog could kill you. When I first joined, I was an explorer and socialiser. I didn't skill much, just toyed with my friends and had a great time. I wasn't until around 2008 that I started to get into skilling and all that. Then I got into pures, and that's escalated until the recent EoC beta. I have around 15 accounts, just from trying out different pures! I really miss the old days before the GE came. I really felt this friendly vibe back then. Lumbridge used to be packed, and there would be all sorts of people to talk to. Everywhere you walked, you could find a nice conversation. Heck, back in the day people used to think 40 woodcutting was an achievement! I've had great times with Runescape, I just can't let it go. I'm sure that whatever happens, I'll still come back for the holiday events. The game's just given me so many lasting memories. So that's me. I decided to join Tip.It because it's one of the last thriving RS communities. I used to be an avid poster on RSBoards. (My username was Cruzer.) Sadly, RSB got hacked and is in ruins. I've been looking for a great community since. I hardly go on Sal's Realm, but I do visit Zybez. If you have any questions or comments, post away! I'm happy to be here, and hope to spread my friendly attitude across the forum!
  3. 16. I think I'm considered one of the last "oldies" who joined before the removal of Free Trade, right when they started cracking down and implementing Bounty Hunter. I joined around 2006.
