I got a question too, why do I get random litttle boxes in screen centre, mostly when in combat? they seem to be range/strenght/constituion etc

Hi I am curious, if any one knows, why I get the odd square in the centre of the screen at random It started in a dungeon, showing the heart, then a bit later the war hammer from the abil bar and in the boss, unholy cursebearer there were 5 combat icons and one other/
