  1. not only the damage boost, but it also gains an accuracy boost. They never miss on dragons, which is why most people choose to take decent ranged gear, like pernix/sirenic, and royal/dccb or even asc with dbane bolts to get the fastest kill time possible.
  2. I try to time my slayer tasks so I can average out how much Experience I gain in an hour or in a day, and I start the time of the task as soon as I get it from kuradel, this time usually includes going to the bank and regearing/restocking, et cetera. Dust Devils are just a pain to get to, and hell hounds aren't high on my priority list. I don't like the clues they drop, as most of them need quests or such to do, and I don't like quests. not to mention I am also trying to gather charms for summoning training, and hellhounds/dust devils usually only drop golds. I'm well of this, I was asking what should I put on my block and/or prefered list(s).
  3. Do you have the "Mask of Gloom" or its counterpart? If so, then force tasks. Very usefull, and amazing bule droppers. :D
  4. Thanks for trying Arceus c: That's really all that counts, haha. I was mainly talking about the block/prefer list, I mainly use magic, but I also do melee and range and needed. I'm seriously looking, as I need to get 3 levels before the end of the month. :D
  5. Okay, so I'm trying to get 99 slayer; I don't have the Elf master unlocked, because I cbb to do quests, so what should I have under my block list for kuradel, I mainly mage my tasks, range if its a certain task that I knwo is weak to ranged combat (like Order of Ascensions) and so on. I currently have dust devils and hell hounds on my block list, and Kal'Gerion demons on my prefered list. I should also note, I don't have access to TDs or Glacors either. Thanks for the help!
  6. Do the same with green charms too. I keep my green charms because I use them for bunyips, and once I hit 88 summoning, unicorns.
  7. I don't have soulsplit though? :( you could also use blood spells Red Chinchompas are one handed, so if you have ancients, you can take blood barrage and set it to your offhand weapon. I'd advise using an abyssal orb, as that has a chance to save runes as blood runes are expencive as heck right now. But yes, the best place to get crimson charms would be waterfiends, if you can do familiarization before-hand, then you'll earn triple the amount of charms you would for half an hour, I believe. Also, train some slayer to get your combat up, it can provide decent amount of different charms per hour. If you don't have the Charming Imp from Dungeoneering, I suggest you get that as wel. He automatically picks up charms as you kill monsters and puts them in your inventory, or converts them to summoning XP if you tell him he can have those charms. I'd suggest picking up Crimson charmps, Green charms, and Blue charms at your level, if you have 'em. He's really handy. Good luck with your training, though! EDIT: I'm just one above your summoning level, so I can tell you that don't bother with gold charms. They're too expensive/experience points. If you have the Chamimp, then just talk to him, and let him keep the gold charms. Really racks up exp over time.
  8. Oh yes I'm willing to go there, all it takes to get raw chicken is to kill a chicken and there I'm done. While with that dusty key I have to go through the tedious progress or going all the way to the prison cells in the dungeon, kill a black knight, rescue the prisoner and get the key. (or at least it was like that couple of years back, don't know if that has changed.) So thanks for the help. Doesn't this not fix the problem at all? You were complaining because the key you had to take took up an extra slot that you could of used for drops but now you have to take a raw chicken for it? I guess it does only fix the problem of time but other then this, there isnt any other way to kill black dragons without getting the agility level for the shortcut. If you have 65 agility, you can use a summer pie and boost for the agility shortcut, if not then you have to use the slot. If you go through to the Evil Chicken Lair, you can easily drop the chicken once you're inside, or if it dissapears, I couldn't tell you. :c
  9. After some brief testing, it doesn't seem Smoke and Shadow do. However, I thought, what's to keep me from putting them on my ability bar, and manually hitting the buttons they're assigned to? Wouldn't that have my character autocast it once? What do you mean? Kind of like a "quick-switch" type of thing for spells? I never thought of this. :o I wouldn't see why not, to be honest. If anything, that'd help.
  10. If both parties of the co-op party, then yo ucan both force the dark beast slayer task, which lets you both co op that task; though I'm not exactly sure that it'll give you both the same AMOUNT of darkbeasts, anyway.
  11. If you head to the Daemonheim, the southern penninsula has a resouce dungeon that includes willows and maples.. I'm not exactly sure what level is needed, but I'm 85% sure that it has (mostly) F2P Access.
  12. Yeah. on ability activation, if the ice spell hit, the bind is still in effect; but if you autocast a blood spell, you do still get the healing effect of it.
  13. The effects of the Ancient Magick spells don't have a buff/debuff ("ability") unless its autocasted. Like, earlier today, I was killing chaos Dwarf cannoneers in hopping to get a dragon pickaxe, and I had ice barrage on my main-hand, and blood barrage on my off-hand. While using revolution, you would cast your main-hand spell first, then your off-hand, or an ability. If an ability was triggered, then it would be the off-hand spell starting, and then another ability or your main-hand wand. When not autocast, Ancient magick spells lose their debuff, other than ice spells of course, where they still bind the target. When autocast, they have their buff/debuff, depending on the spell you're using. Now, on the topic of wand + book/orb versus a staff, the answer is simple: if you want one spell, use a staff for the higher accuracy. If you want more than one spell, use a wand and the book/orb, so you can use more than one spell at a time. Good luck, and hope this helped a little bit. :D Yt'haar Andy|Andriod09, Vanguard to Armadyl, Loyal Servant of Zaros
  14. Blaze, in my opinion, at youre defence level, you'd better off working towards getting pernix, yes it degrades, but the money that you can make in the 10 hours it takes to degrade to a broken counterpart would definatally make up for the cost of the repair. Especially if you have 99 smithing and use an armor stand, the price that's needed is nearly halved, and it works with assists as well! But all this being said, if you still don't want to buy a degrading armor, then just get the Armadyl set, its pricy, but well worth it. Its classified as power armor, so it does take a little reduction in the Armor Rating, but it also provides a damage boost. With the damage boost, you can kill things quicker, making it well worth the money spent on it. I use it whenever I need it, and it helps a ton. I'm 84 ranged, and 95 defence, so I'm well about your level. I don't use extreme potions either, so if you have those (or overloads) then you're in luck because you can do a heck-ton more damage/second than I could right now. Good luck with choosing your armor set! Yt'Haar Andy|Andriod09, Vanguard of Armadyl, Loyal Servant of Zaros.
  15. Hi! My names Andy, you can call me my by screen name, Andriod09 (pronounced android-zero/oh-nine), or even by Andy. I don't care which. ;3 Anyway, I've been here for a long time, years actually. Just never felt th eneed to register until RuneZone started to die out for me. I'm not going to go much into detail about that, as its probably not wanted, nor is it needed. The past is the past. :) Now, I'm 16 years old, born and raised in Texas, U.S., I've grown up in the small town of La Porte, which is French for "The Gate." Haven't lived anywhere else, its near the "hub city" Houston, south-east, to be exact. Growing up I've been a musician since I was 6-7 years old, playing guitar, piano, then violin. I've recently taken up singing as well, so who knows how well that'll go. :D I started playing RuneScape back in the early stages of 2007, and have had multiple accounts. I currently reside on my (current) Main account, which is named: "Andriod09". I currently have one 99 skill, which is in magic, following 96 in Constitution, Slayer, and Dungeoneering. I will shortly have 96 defence as well. :D My plans right now are going for 95 prayer and curses, overloas (94-96 herblore), 99 slayer, and making a lot of cash so I can finally upgrade gear. I mainly do slayer, but try to boss and to minigames whenever possible. I guess this wraps up my introduction for now. I'm very easy to be friends with, so if yo uwant to know more, just ask below, or Private Message me, or even add me ingame. My private is set to friends, so be sure to send me a PM on here about it. :3 Thanks for reading! Yt'Haar Andy|Andriod09, Vanguard to Armadyl, Loyal Servant to Zaros.
