RuneScape Information

  1. Bah, I love puzzles, I love fights, I love bosses. I don't see anything wrong or repetitive about quests. I look forward to new quests with enthusiasm. No two quests are the same. The only thing i can say is that having boss fights only at the end of a quest makes me not worry about bringing combat gear everywhere I go. I wouldn't mind being challenged midquest by a powerful boss, just so I was forced to always be prepared for a fight. However, I like the way Jagex does their quests, and the story lines totally rule. I honestly laugh out loud during many quests. I hope they keep it up, except maybe release quests a bit more often! Flan
  2. I personally like the fact that we were forced to play conquest in the new quest. I'm not a big fan of soul wars, but that didn't bother me to much either. I like conquest but don't care about void knight gear so I don't play pest control or conquest. However, one minigame that wasn't mentioned in this article was Trouble Brewing. Until recently, I had never ever tried it. I played recently with a few friends, and I couldn't believe how fun it was, even though it was non-combat. Its sad that its so ignored. Part of the problem is that it's hard to access the minigame (requires a tough quest), and its got no good rewards. But it is a lot of fun. I wish more players played minigames just for the fun of it more often. What jagex should do, if they want to get people to play unpopular minigames, is make a 0 xp weekend. That way, people would find other things to do that just grind woodcutting at ivy.
  3. My group encounted a level 467 shadowforger. It totally owned us, it was a 5:5 large f30 dung. it was hitting as high as 867 with its charged up yellow special, and frequently hitting 200's and 300's with otherattacks, often simultaneously. Basically, you couldn't eat fast enough. everyone died multiple times. Added and credited thanks ~Howlin~
  4. um.... so why hasn't jagex made a post, or even a tweet, about this? I'm sure they are trying to fix it, but why not let us know whats going on here?
  5. I just want to say that I got a long bone from killing the pit ogre in Love Story. I understand it normally only drops big bones, but i got both.
  6. http://tip.it/runescape/?page=combat_guide.htm#s There it says you get 4 xp for each damage done, except that now its .4 exp per damage. Flan
  7. Update on the RS front page: "RuneScape Server Problems 13 June 2008 Telstra, one of our service providers, is currently experiencing technical difficulties. As a result, you will not be able to access the RuneScape game and a number of our website features. We apologise for any inconvenience caused, and we are assured our service provider is working hard to rectify this fault." Looks like we'll have to wait this one out.
  8. The maximum number of items you can have in one spot in your bank is 4,294,967,295. Try to withdraw that number of gp, runes, or a stakable item. It will all be withdrawn. However, try to withdraw 4,294,967,296 items and it used to (like two weeks ago) say "you can't carry all that!" this number is because it is based on a binary code, and 2^32 is 4,294,967,296, and since there must be a binary code for 0 of an item as well, you could have 1 less than this. So what happens if you exceed this number? does it make a second stack? who knows.
  9. A MEN. Thats exactly what I've always wanted to say to all those stupid little kids bugging the begeeses out of Jagex.
