  1. Thanks for all the replies, I will just take out a stick of RAM and look at it...Dunno why I did not think of that first :wall:
  2. Heh, that was me back when I ordered some RAM, and it didnt work. So that was me :D I also try to get help there too.
  3. Nobody knows  just my luck... :(
  4. I cannot figure out what type of motherboard I have. I tried the crucial system scanner, didnt work. It said 'pmg we cannot detect ur motherboard lollerz BUY OUR MEMRY NOWZ' And it also reported that I can hold 4gb of RAM, when my manual says I can only hold 2gb  I tried Belarc's advisor, it told me I had: Board: Intel Corporation D915GRO [serial # here] but I tried searching the Intel main site for that board^^ Nothing came up. I dont know what to do now :x I have 512 mb already, but I want to get another gig of RAM, but my board is VERY picky about what kind of RAM I use, since I bought a set of 2x512 last time (I have 4 open ram slots), and I thought it was compatible, but surprise surprise, my computer spat it out like sour milk. I DONT KNOW WHAT RAM I CAN TAKE this is getting very frustrating, and I dont know what else to do. I *THOUGHT* I could take 184 PINN, DDR 400MHZ RAM but no, I cant, and I am at a dead end. :wall:
  5. Still won't beat the gameboy vanilla, or the original gameboy that was like, as big as an answering machine lol. My dad still has his, and has the original mario game on it :)
  6. Meh, I used to do it for an hour a day regularly, but I got a job and it takes precedence over working out. Besides I walk a lot while working (vacuuming rooms, weedeating uhh weeds, and other general stuff and running around at the college where I work at) and I am worn out by the time I get off, and want to get home into a nice shower and my jammies :)
  7. 56k..actually 28.8kbps on a good day  Upgrading to DSL January, when our dial-up plan runs out :D
  8. Here's a tissue... Now, you know you dont HAVE to do the trails, amirite?? amirite???
  9. Rita didnt kill thousands...dunno where you got that info from. People wised up from Katrina and got out of TX. :?
  10. Thats a good price...Almost what I paid for mine except mine is only a 200gb SATA drive and came with 512 RAM...which i upgraded to 2gb :)
  11. Ive already tried to update my BIOS with that update but it didnt help...I will print out the manual...
  12. 13. The max my board can take is 2gb of memory. I do not know if it can handle 2x 1gb sticks tho, uhhh where's a good hardware detector, I dont know what kinda mobo I have :wall:
  14. Na its not unbranded memory, its PQI and I made sure that it was 184 pinn, pc3200 ddr RAM, which was what my last set of RAM was only it was 512 mb not 2gb, and was made by Infineon. And I will check out that power problem ty :) EDIT: I did a bit of research and it turns its not my power supply at all. Its a problem with my ram...Ill try to fix it...but Im not sure exactly why its giving me this message. The RAM is: PQI 2048MB DL CH KIT|PQI3200-2048DB and came with 2 sticks of 1024 RAM. I took out my old ram of 2x256 (512) and put these two new sticks in their place. I have 4 open RAM slots, but I only use 2 slots, maybe putting them in the other two slots will help any? EDIT2: Heres where I bought it from http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820141227
  15. Ok I just installed 2gb of RAM and a new 480w PSU, when I first booted up the computer it gave me this message: And then it said this: But I just use the power cord that came with my new PSU :? Halp.
