  1. One of the most well-argued threads I have ever read on here. I applaud you. =D>
  2. IMO, you will see things that are used to build skills, or fighting, such as prayer pots, herb seeds, coal, yews maybe go higher as people buy them. On the other hand, people will dump their treasure trails stuff on the GE and those will not go for much more than alch prices I bet. You will rarely see a rare on the GE.
  3. I have done this a few times, and after the last time (1k airstaffs) I swore never again until Jagex changes the number of battlestaves in stock. only 5? geesh Jagex, worldhopping is so RSC. Make them more expensive, or something, but change the quantity to 100 or so.
  4. Sweet guide. I have always been under the impression that you just need the stethescope in your inventory to get the benefit, you don't have to USE it with the safe.
  5. I did not think the boots did anything. I know the magic sceptures are supposed to help.
  6. I have done the battlestaff thing a few times (1k, not 10k). Each time, I say never again. Worldhopping for staffs is ridiculous. stock of 5. 5?!?! C'mon jagex, if you want people to raise less popular skills, give them the resources to do it!
  7. 1) Yes, you can have as many as you want. I have had a sceptre equipped each time I got another sceptre. 2) I have gotten 4 sceptres (rooms 1, 5, 6, 7), all from center chests while going from lvl 80 to 88 (about 2.4 mil xp) no ring of wealth.
  8. just to reaffirm that you can get the sceptre anywhere, I got one from the center chest in the FIRST room last night.
  9. I remember when Scythes were dropped only during work/school hours in North America, and everyone whined enough that Andrew stayed up and dropped them again 2 days later. Oh, and Andrew whined about having to do that.
  10. only thing I will add is that once you get to a spot in the Abyss, stay put and wait for the monsters to go non agressive. THEN target the weak ones while not leaving the area.
  11. Tripsis: That makes sense. I got my second sceptre last night, and it did not tele me out. I clicked on the door right after the center chest, and continued on. Thanks for the help!
  12. Perhaps it is new? I managed to get the sceptre a couple of days ago. I am certain I was in room 5 and the center chest (room 7 is my max), and it kicked me outside, and the sceptre was in my inventory.
  13. Awesome guide! I must say I use a method similiar to Nuke by turning prayer on and ignoring the scarabs or mummy. One thing you might add for those people hitting all the center chests on their way to the highest room, when you do get a sceptre, the guardian mummy appears, complains about you finding his master's sceptre, and tele's you outside saying he needs to reset it again. If you did not have an empty spot in inventory when that happens, I would think the sceptre ends up on the floor, and you may not make it back before it disappears.
