You can already bank your stuff before you log off and make a decent password if your clever enough. I've never been "hacked" in 6 or 7 years of having an account with visible wealth on it. Get some decent security for your PC, don't give your pass out to ANYONE. No need to make it harder to play for people not affected.

Maybe they could make the many caves and dungeons that they have now more useful because there are a lot of places that no one goes to.

A few years ago i was doing slayer and lagged out quite a few times and the last time it happened I just left it because I'd had enough. Logged in the next morning and had lost about 11 or 12 million worth of gear(guthans parts, slayer mask, whip etc.), probably to an evil chicken. I got it all back within a day though, thanks to the mage guild.

Two things people can try if they are still having problems is updating your Java via your control panel>java options>update and also updating your video card drivers. You can update the drivers by going to control panel>system information to find out what brand card and type of card you have, then visiting the website of that manufacturer or for older cards searching on internet search engines for that card type and adding the word driver to the search. This last one solved my lag problem immediately.

I've played this game since 2001/2 and I still get excited when I get a level. I had quiet a good time getting summoning from 1 to 32 this week actually. I went from 122 combat to 126 in the process. Since I don't spend every day playing and take regular breaks from the game for 1 or 2 years at a time the game doesn't really get stale for me.

That's kinda funny because I bought a Sara sword 4 days ago for 7.9M and sold it yesterday for 7.95M because noone was buying at 8M for over an hour...

I picked player killer first account I had and hated the game. I didn't understand why I was dying all the timer for no reason(I didn't even know the difference between players and NPCs) and didn't go back till later. When I came back a few months later on another account I picked Ranger because I wanted to be like Aragorn from Lord of the Rings. Sadly all I got was some arrows, lol.

I don't see the problem here really. Party hats skyrocketed from about 15-50m million about 3 years ago to absolutely ridiculous prices last year due to the huge influx of new players alching and gold farmers causing massive inflation and merchanters artificially inflating their prices. As money sinks were introduced and the bot problem was fixed prices stabilised. Newer items and skills were also introduced that cost a lot of money and aren't in huge supply yet/are being trained intensively by a lot of players. The hats still cost a packet and a lot of people still want one. It's not like there are more in the game now, its just that Jagex now holds the reigns a bit more tightly and aren't going to allow the prices to rocket again. Who cares if the hat you wear costs 100 million or 500 million?

Well I bought one when I came back to play and boy does it swing slow. If you want something to train with I'd say no. However if you want to look cool or tackle some of the bigger monsters with high HP then go for it.

Oh wow this forum still exists. Well having fallen off the ledge in ME 2 about 30 times in a row I guess I'm not in a rush for ME 3 to come out. I might have to get my agility up a bit more but at this stage West Ardougne could be swallowed up by an earthquake and I couldn't care less.
