Ratio of regular memories to enriched memories

23 August 2013 - 11:30 AM

Following on from the discussion on another thread it might be helpful to know the ratio of regular memories to enriched memories when harvesting memories from a wisp.

This thread is for anyone that is able/willing to contribute information to help us determine what this ratio is.

This would only be for regular wisps, not enriched wisps.

Information by level would be best, and if you are able to provide information for a whole tier that would be helpful.

For example, these are some results of mine:
Level Regular Enriched Total Enriched(Percentage)
30 53 11 64 17.19%
31 117 0 117 0.00%
32 130 0 130 0.00%
33 121 9 130 6.92%
34 101 6 107 5.61%
35 143 14 157 8.92%
36 145 17 162 10.49%
37 104 26 130 20.00%
38 157 38 195 19.49%

Any help would be appreciated as the amount of energy collected per level is too low for anything meaningful to be derived from one persons data.

Divination calculator + planner now available

22 August 2013 - 09:27 AM

We are happy to announce two new features available on our site:

Divination Calculator
Divination Planner

These can be found in the Skill Calculators and Skill Planners section of the site respectively. A massive thanks to Howlin0001 for getting this available so quickly.

This thread isn't just to let you know that we've released them though.

Any and all feedback is appreciated to see if we can improve them. We are working on creating a new system for calculators on tip.it, but that is a long term project. As such, any major changes won't be able to be implemented immediately. Smaller changes, such as adding more items or categories can be considered though. In any case, let us know what you want and we'll see if it's possible.

New items - Are there more we've overlooked?

21 August 2013 - 07:22 AM

We are working on adding all new Divination items to the item database.

To see the list of what we are aware of so far, open the hide tags below:

And dungeoneering items:

Are there more items that have been overlooked? Just mention the name of the item here, and we'll have a look into it.

Not all items listed above are able to be seen on the site, but they will be appearing as we gather and process the information for them.

The list of items available so far can be found here.

Divination - Collecting Data

20 August 2013 - 11:38 AM

Hey everyone,

the release of a new skill is always exciting as with it comes the new and the unknown. To help get the site updated as quickly as possible, the tip.it website crew has opened this forum for you to share information with us about the new skill.

Whether it be information on an item, a location, an NPC or something completely different just create a thread letting us know what you know.

All helpful information will be credited.

Screenshots are very helpful to confirm information, so if possible please post a screenshot alongside your information. If the screenshot contains an image that you think might be worth posting on the site, please use 4x anti-aliasing and save the file in a .png format. If it's just being posted as proof, quality isn't important though.

On behalf of the tip.it crew, thanks to all who help out in anyway possible.

HOW TO: Helping with Quests - Screenshots, confirms, etc.

31 October 2012 - 08:16 PM

Quest Corrections

Tip.it aims to provide 100% accurate information, and your feedback and submissions help in achieving this. This is particularly important for quests, as they can only be completed once on each account. This means that once a crew member has completed a quest, we are unable to confirm the submissions ourselves.

This is where you, the tip.it user, can help. If you see something that needs improving, correcting or updating, post a thread here letting us know about it. Also, if you see someone's submission, and haven't done the quest yet yourself, check out what they said and see if you can provide screenshot confirmation for it. Both submitters and confirmers are gratefully credited in the guide!

How to Help

As mentioned above, screenshot evidence of submissions is so important as it allows us to quickly make changes to the quest guides. There are no formatting requirements for confirmation pictures, as long as we are able to see the proof. For help with uploading images check out this thread.

When following a quest guide, submissions may include things such as the following:
  • Parts of a quest that have been changed due to a game update.
  • Parts of the guide which may be unclear or confusing.
  • Better methods for a certain part of a quest.
  • Correcting any mistakes that may appear in the guide.
  • Items that are no longer needed since they are already in your toolbelt (some items are still needed, some aren't).
  • Parts of a quest where lodestone use would be convenient.
  • Images in the guide which need updating (see next part of this post).
The above is not an exhaustive list, and all submissions won't necessarily fall into one of the above categories.

Updating Images

The quest guides on tip.it include images which can sometimes become outdated due to graphical updates. Whenever possible, these images are updated to reflect the newest graphics available in the game. Submissions regarding updated images are appreciated, as once a quest is done it cannot be redone to retake certain pictures.

Images submitted to be used in quest guides should be taken on the highest detail graphical settings: maximum brightness, 4x anti-aliasing, textures on, etc.

Images used in quest guides must be saved in a .png format. They should also not have other players in them wherever possible.

Thank You!

Every submission and confirmation is greatly appreciated, so we'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for your help in ensuring our quest guides maintain the standards you expect. Those who are able to make submissions and confirmations are credited for their help.

Thanks from the tip.it website crew.
