I think youll find almost the entire first page would be drastically different without spins.  But thats a mute point as they are part of the game now and its the way things will be for the forseable future.  Why can't people just accept that?  And if it bothers them SOOO much them stop playing RS, stop talking about RS and get off a discussion thread about maxing RS.

As we finish off the Quest, we have begun work on some smaller projects. The first of these is Skillchompas! As you may guess from the title, this is a skilling update. The majority of the development work is due to be finished next week.
You will be able to hunt four tiers of new Chinchompas, Mithril, Adamite, Runite and Dragon. You can then equip and use these in Divination, Fishing, Mining and Woodcutting for improved XP rates. Of course, just like those used in combat, each Chinchompa has a single use. They will be tradable, so this does add a new moneymaking method for hunters.

Wtf has happened to RS, it's unreal these days lol

Well, I mean, for a point of reference, in 2004 I couldn't believe how easy noobs had it when they only had to mine ore in Rimmington, walk to Falador, smith smelt the bars, find an anvil, and make the armor.

All while missing one very important thing:

I remember when sleeping bag came out and I thought noobs had it easy.....  #needabed

It is still far beyond me why someone would spend real money on the game... even if you save time... it's one of the most dumb ways one can spend money.

Y0 blue spent 4k irl on divination, I'd imagine similar here.

Would it be better if he instead spent 4k at the clubs?  People spend money on what they enjoy.....

Now factor in thousands of hours of people's invested time - suddenly it's not that simple.

I don't know, from the perspective of my thousands of hours and changing opinions about the way online games should work, I think it is that simple.

Similar to the problems with EoC, the lack of information and a lack of direction is missing. Many updates seem to be stand-alone and do not tie in well with previous content, with no apparent reason for their independence, even though there are many ways to combine old and new - look at Runespan, which could just as easily produce real runes and use real essence. Jagex needs to define some clear goals for the game, not just story-wise - that's pretty much sorted, I think - but mechanics-wise and financially. If they present these goals, then the players can understand the developers and business managers, and help to devise solutions where appropriate. In a community this big, there have to be a few good businesspeople running around, wouldn't you think?

I think there's a direction there that's not too difficult to see. Supplement their revenue by tapping into the huge market for Real World Trading without causing a deluge of more money being added to the game by selling it directly.

runescape's the kind of game where having standards for gameplay just means that at some point you're just going to get hurt
the only satisfaction you're ever really going to have is from finding people you can stand to be around for longer than five minutes, or pretending that everybody besides you doesn't exist, and you're just playing a game that hates you, like dark souls, but without any wit behind it
i've wanted to post before about people who seemed like they would rather be playing a single player game, but like i said, i can't make anybody do anything more than anybody else here, so feel free to keep punching that wall

What's wrong with playing it like a single player game? I've done it since I started playing the game in 2003-ish with only occasional excursions into clan-like activities like monster hunting, and I've enjoyed it all along.

I've been in the same mind set of the solo play. Have been a solo player since 2002 and only occasionally partake in group stuff. Mostly dungeoneering and that's it. Much prefer solo

At least into 2003 there was not weekly updates that I can remember. I think they need to slow down as well though..... Instead of pumping out new content work on what is already in the game....rework skills.....change mini games etc.

I hated the skill at first, but it has become quite relaxing, and dare say I, fun. Might be because I'm not being hectic about it now and just going at it casually.

I didnt hate it at first I was a bit annoyed. But I like you am somewhat enjoying it. Can relax, browse forums, watch a movie chat in FC gain some ok exp. The added bonus of the hunter exp is great as well :)

Apparently Richard's chest pains were just a pulled muscle

If he had done yoga beforehand this would not be a problem. Player112543 knows what he's doing.

I think you mean an awesome supermarket called Iceland

I remember on my most recent trip to England seeing the lorries all over the motorways with Iceland on the side and I finally asked my mate....THe [bleep]? Previous were normally on train so not much exposure to the lorries etc. And he looked at me strange as if I should know..... But he had a different expression "Its a shite supermarket" lol

Gunnar, richard, mehukas, and the other people, STAAAHHHPPP training for a lil bit so zezima can get rank 1.

Im dead serious lol

Why should they?

Because 07Scape wasn't enough for us to relive the glorious times and nostalgia all over the screen so we require, even just for a fleeting moment, the almighty god of Gielnor during the most precious of times - Zezima - to once again rise to his throne atop the highscores.

Because otherwise we'll just be stuck in a loop, continuing - for some reason - to play and think about a game we couldn't give less of a shit about.

Don't worry though. When he gets Rank 1, we will have a One Direction-esque group of screaming fangirls parading around about it all.

You have some of the funniest posts on here lol. This is by far the best \:D/
