  1. We sent some members over to their side after the fight had gone on for a while, to make it more even and a better practise for both clans. Especially Tobap from TUR was calling well for CE.
  2. Good post Hohto. I can sense a little bit of own bitterness towards RSD in it too, at least I think so. I can understand it, tho, since I know you have such a long history with the clan. Wouldn't have ever thought you to give up carrying the name of RSD with you... About the timezones, it's a problem in most top clans and I think I know the reason. Since fights stretch to late nights for GMT; US and Aus/Asia players are the ones who finally carry the fight to the end and solve the "winner" of the fight. I remember even DS avoided early GMT at some point, not allowing PK trips to be organized those times. All of the top clans carry on the fights for hours nowadays and GMTers are not bringing as much value as ones living in US and Aus/Asia, this is when we measure it in the result of the fights. This discrimination policy towards GMT from RSD means that in the end the member base will be more from US than Europe, meaning that RSD can last later into the night... It might be a good thing for performance, in the long run. If we look at TT, who sometimes do pull long night GMT fights successfully, still every now and then has the struggle for lasting extremely long in the battlefield and therefore prefers fights with timecap. I have an impression that TT has a very strong GMT base, especially from old TMRD and TRWF members. If I am wrong, please correct me about the TT information. I know several people from Clan Europe applied to RSD but only very few (or one?) decided to carry on to the end, exactly due to timezones. I had personally encouraged some of these individuals to join RSD because of its reputation as a clan with mature member base (also because DI is the only big clan in clan world which does not allow their members to join CE while being in main clan - thanks to Lord88 - not that we'd even prefer to have members in that clan -.- ). Those who carried on joining to RSD, have stayed with us and found it as ok mix of coming to our few GMT friendly events and then doing late nights with RSD. This is not our advertisement, but it shows how GMT friendly events are lacking in several top clans and these missing spots have been filled by Europe based country clans. About leadership problems, attitude and other things you've brought up about RSD here... It is hard to say any opinion. There are always two sides of a story and even though I have huge respect towards you, Hohto, there are also lots of things RSD have done well. I wouldn't treat the clan so harshly, however I am not an insider so I do not know the situation, I can only read what is said and make my own conclusions. Maybe you should have taken the offer of organizing GMT events, after all. When you're punched down to the ground... You need to choose whether you stay down and wait for another hit, stand up and fight or flee. I am sure there are plenty of friends of yours still in RSD and one single badly behaving individual cannot take your morale down, Hohto. Fight, as you've always said you would. Fight for your clan and its members. (As you are doing with the post.) When I think about all the problems in our own clan... Geez, I can only get a headache. So many things need to be fixed, changed etc. But also very many things are working and we've even done some of them accidently correct. Thing is, when you fix one problem, you find two new ones, there's always work for improvement and that job doesn't ever end. There's also the thing you cannot please everyone, it's purely impossible - you have to make some choices and stick to them. Mainly I am just happy about the people around me, who are nice and I can count on them... That's all I need for a good base. TsemppiƤ sinnepƤin, esteet ja ongelmat on tehty ratkottaviksi, ~Dimi~ PS. Merry Christmas all! PSS. Almost 4 am to me and English is my second language, so don't mind my spelling mistakes/forgetting words middle of a sentence/strange grammar structure.
  3. Clan Europe vs Runite Knights of Finland Last week CE set up a war with RKoF having had a good fight from them in the past. We added an activity check to our war topic but half way through the week we were informed that the Hungarians had another fight and seeing how we have a fair number of Hungarians in CE, we were now unsure of what our turnout would be like as they made up a good % of our war hungry members. From our signup list we were predicting just less than 25 and when our TS server was full due to lots of Hungarian users on it as well, we had to switch which caused concern about our organisation. Luckily, we arrived at CWA before RKoF settled into our temporary TS server and ready to go. Our turnout was impressive and our chances looked good of winning. Here were the rules: [*:16xxw69h]Sunday 21st | | 6:00GMT Start, [*:16xxw69h]Full Out War, [*:16xxw69h]Melee | | Binds| | Range ONLY, [*:16xxw69h]Turrets| | No Bounds, [*:16xxw69h]Inf Run | | Ring both allowed, [*:16xxw69h]Team Cape 17, [*:16xxw69h]Lower ops attacks and [*:16xxw69h]RSC Post.We pulled just over 35 with a couple leaving due to RL issues just before the war started so the war commenced with having 34 starting and this has been the second time in this half of '08 where we have pulled over 100ops. CE Starting Ops: 102 RKoF Starting Ops: 63 With RKoF pulling 21, we set our eyes on a win. We pulled a few snipers back to our main pile to strengthen it's K0ing power and we got some good pile switch K0s throughout the fight. Being so heavily out numbered, RKoF could do little to pull home a win for themselves and CE ended with 25 people (75 ops). Thank you very much for the fight RKoF. You did very well killing 9 of us when outnumbered so heavily, respect for putting up such a fight. Well done to all members of CE who attended and signed up; it was a thrilling turnout and we are looking foward to more turnouts of such caliber in the future. Thanks also to Pixie (Liam) for leading the whole fight. I think I speak from everyone in CE when I say that you made our ears bleed; but it got the job done so good work ;-) CE Ending Ops: 75 RKoF Ending Ops: 0 mFVIbYp9iNQ Thanks RKoF, it was a clean and respectable fight; a pleasure. Many thanks; ~Dimi~

  5. Clan Europe vs Exercitum Last week Clan Europe approached Darlene from Exer for a fight for the following Sunday; we had been trying to get a hold of Exer for some time now but due to other fights we had to wait our turn but finally, we got our fight. After a bit of discussion concerning times and how many each clan would pull, we finally agreed upon the following rules: [*:1ftdxfi6]Sunday 7th | | 7:15GMT Start, [*:1ftdxfi6]Matched Ops, [*:1ftdxfi6]Melee | | Binds | | Range ONLY, [*:1ftdxfi6]Classic Arena | | Center Boundaries, [*:1ftdxfi6]NO Inf Run | | Ring ALLOWED, [*:1ftdxfi6]Team Cape 17, [*:1ftdxfi6]NO Corrupt Dragon Armour, [*:1ftdxfi6]North spawn attacks and [*:1ftdxfi6]RSC Post.We were pumped up and ready for it but due to a slightly later time for us, we were concerned we would loose some members to their Senior clans. Luckily we were able to keep most of our members and massed up half an hour early. We walked over to clan wars in world 118, met Exer and quickly started the fight with us spawning North. Both pulls were better than expected with Exer pulled 27 to our 29, thanks to Metal and Kiss for stepping out to even the numbers! CE Starting Ops: 87 (cut down to 81 to match Exer's) Exer Starting Ops: 81 We potted up and charged quickly K0ing our first target and our first pile tanking Exer well. We kept going and K0ed our next pile but Exer held in there and was able to even up the score at about 24v24 but after a quick couple of K0s on some binders we took the lead and kept it from then on in. Exer kept going and regrouped at 21v17 but were unable to get back into the fight. Our Sniping and Antisniping kept their binders suppressed and our binders safe allowing us to drop a lot of their members quickly. Props to Devil and X N I V for tanking us very well. CE Ended with 19, Zero or Die with less than 5 HP. Well done to Mercury for Leading very well, everyone for binding/ranging very well and tanking superbly! Thank you very much Exer for the fight, it was fun, enjoyable and most importantly, clean. I am looking forward to fighting you guys again, it was a pleasure! Well done to everyone, members of Exer and CE! Please keep this thread flame free, don't flame CE or you will be dealt with. Thanks; ~Dimi~
  6. True, soloers and couple man teams are in cities now. Even 1 itemers don't go to wilderness that much. Falador is almost like an animal zoo, I can't describe that mess with a better word :S Practically only clans and bigger teams go to wild and almost always with decent opts. I just hope it doesn't go into an "arms race" where we will end up only seeing rarely 200+ opts teams at high level wilderness battling it out, because less would get you killed for certain.
  7. I believe originally miniwars were wars that weren't supposed to affect ranks, usually short preps. We did manage to see long prep wars as well, but still thye were called "miniwars".
  8. That kind of people we send to CWA with couple experienced members and they drill there for few hours. After that they usually tank better than I do :wall: Cquit still get's ko'ed all the time tho... How to teach a Swedish low lvl to tank? Take his meatballs away? Any ideas?
  9. Clan Europe has 5-6 leaders working under me. We also have couple admins doing the most technical stuff. Rule is, leaders are free to make their own decisions, but when they mess up, they are responsible for it themselves and responsible to clean the mess. Big decisions are ran through me, because nobody wants to have "the chat" with me after things have fallen apart without me knowing. Really capable people, though. They have proven to outskill me in every aspect already.
  10. I was dealing gear earlier with Yaff. Clan Europe will be there soon. Remember guys, behave well and don\t cause trouble. Easy commands: T in = follow leader, grouping after a kill T *name* = attack the person Let's take red capes down first.
  11. Clan Europe signs up. If you need leading assistance, you get it from us. Dbz, pm me if you need something and we'll add each others to MSN. By the way, is it with returning or no returning?
  12. DF - Divine Forces (best f2p in my opinion) TR - The Rising EH - Eternal Honour (personally I love this clan, even though I'm not a member or haven't been) Corr - Corruption Some other clans that someone might mention or have been mentioned: VR - Violent Resolution TT - The Titans TRWF - The Runescape Warhungers Federation The - Well, that's their name... :? RSD - Runescape Dinasty (yes, it's spelt right - this clan and their members I respect a lot) AG - Aggression (best p2p in my opinion, DI having serious difficulties and often losing to AG - although this clan is sort of "No Honour") DI - Damage Inc WG - Wilderness Guardians Ah well, that's most of them that someone might be mentioning. Couple of them being good, but not the top, though. Hopefully this helps unorclan :) PS. Go to http://www.runehead.com/clans/clandb.php to see memberlists.
  13. 14. Umm... Rampage Coliseum... That should be removed and mixed with the Clan Discussion forum. War declarations have always been a big part of clan discussions anyway, CD itself loses almost all of its point of existance now. Besides, don't split it into too many different forums, takes away the activity and makes people go through so many different forums. Otherwise, it's good to see Tip.It is finally putting effort on clans. It's been too long... So many years have passed since there was actually things done for the clans here. Do not give up if it doesn't start as a quick climb upwards - by being decisive you will get clans back and the experienced players back to use Tip.It again. Next war declaration from Clan Europe... Will be done here, as a sign of support for you guys and for your work. *edit* BTW, would it be possible to get another "small headline" writing box under the Subject when making a new topic? I'm not sure are you familiar with the concept but I mean Topic Description option.
  15. Many people forgot the 1 word thing... DI - Arogance DS - Respect Gladz - Horrible Exer - Dies EoS - Past FoM - Quiet MK - Problems :? BK - Decline WG - Protection 'The' - Big TF - Brave It's actually hard to figure out just one word :-\
