  1. A very dangerous demon, indeed! Hammer + Sickle
  2. You should add to your equation all the smoke from all the fires that either burn infinitely or are burned for the firemaking skill. This carbon dioxide gas put into the air will further enhance global warming... You know what, I would say something inappropriate here but I'd get booted off this forum faster than I can say "Al Gore." Let's not do global warming in Runescape, Ok? What purpose would it serve other than to further someone's political agenda? ;-) - Sligo
  3. I'm not real thrilled about this, but my biggest complaint is your "bracers" - they are kind of useless when worn under gauntlets or vambraces, and technically don't provide any real defensive value at all. The only way they'd be of use is if their defense was magically based, then it doesn't really matter what type you're wearing. Of course this means we'd have to have another wield slot. I'm kind of interested in knowing what kinds of challenges, puzzles, and such you can do that are significally harder than the level 3 clues, enough to warrant the prizes. I don't know about you, but going into level 50 wilderness is pretty risky as it is. - Sligo
  4. The way to handle that is to build each panel separately- say 10 panels (exterior walls and ceiling) - 2 glass, 2 oak planks (no nails, no teak). Then to build the allotment trays - 3 teak planks each for 4 trays, 2 buckets of super-compost, 2 pots of soil. Then you need the 5 steel bars to create the irrigation system. Now for the cool part of the quest reward - Each allotment tray is a single-seed allotment, where you can grow any vegetable excluding corn, one low-level herb (lower than ranarr), or one flower. Even better, the chance of disease is reduced and the growth time is cut by about 25%. Thanks to you, we now have a farm in the house! Woot woot! (Oh, and you can hire a tool leprecaun for 50k, if you want. But you can't hire an attendant to watch your plants for you - sorry!) - Sligo
  5. Actually, DragnFly submitted it to us directly as a Tip.It Times Article submission. We didn't go digging in the forums for something to use. See? Anyone can get an article published. So those of you who love to criticize and complain about the weekly articles, you have no excuse. So! Step up to the plate. Put your pen to the page and submit! But remember, only one article gets published each week, so if our poor editor has five hundred articles to choose from, you know he's only going to pick the best ones. This tells me I should write up my artistry skill idea as an article and submit it it as well. Why not? - Sligo
  6. Good article. Call the new skill "Baking" Add the new guild, call it the "Baking guild" with the requirement of at least 45-50 in the skill to get in. Add a new landscape feature called the cooking oven. (Can be part of some of the stoves/ranges, but not necessarily. Without proper equipment, you generally can't use a camp fire to bake.) Add in an assortment of new dishes, cakes, pies, etc. Here are some ideas: Low level: Baked chicken Peach, blueberry, cherry pies Medium level: Cheese cake Peach, cherry, apple, blueberry cobblers Pineapple upside down cake Chicken pot-pie High level: Fudge Torts 3-layer cakes (with icing) Wedding cakes I could do more. I like the idea. - Sligo
  7. How about we get rid of entangle and teleblock, and allow non-skulled players the ability to teleport out of the wildy at any level. That way those of us who don't pk, and only go into the wilderness because we have to (quest, clue scroll, runecrafting, etc) a measure of safety and freedom of movement? Oh, I know, this will certainly ruin the economy and take all the fun out of the game for, uhm, 5% of the players (wild guess, there, but hey, it's probably less than that), so it will never happen. *Sigh* - Sligo
  8. You are right about this. I don't see "hunting" as a viable skill, either. Too much like slayer. However, his idea for re-arranging the view without using scrollbars is good, which is the primary gist of this suggestion. - Sligo
  9. With this layout, there's actually room for 4 more skill beyond that. I'm thinking.... Artistry? - Sligo
  10. Maybe a leprecaun caddy? I think you'd wield the club you want, the click "hit ball". I don't think strength would be the benefit. I think it would be agility and ranging. These skills would also play a part in your accuracy and distance as you play. Good idea. I like it.
  11. I have posted a summarized and abbreviated version of this idea over on the Jagex official forums today. Those who can, go and check it out and keep it alive for at least a little while. (Even summarized, it's still pretty long, but I got it down to 17 messages on their forum... lol) - Sligo
  12. Need a BF? Just kidding. My "noob" character is female, and I've gotten a lot of remarks and comments. I actually think I've made more reports from that character than my main! (My Main is level 101 P2P with a skill total nearly 1650, My noob is about level 40 F2P with a skill total around 400!) When I tell people that I'm a guy playing the female character, they really get upset! Have fun with it, but I'm sure it will be an eye-opener for you. - Sligo
  13. Interesting ideas in this thread. Here are my offerings: Manticore (See my thread in the suggestion forum about Artistry for more information) Dinosaurs - Have a pre-historic place to teleport to - fight all the favorites: Velicoraptors, Pteradactls, Tyranasaurus Rex (Sorry if I butchered the spelling, but I'm too lazy to research proper spelling today). Wyverns Harpies Naga (Luna doesn't count, you can't fight her) More lycanthropes (not just werewolves) Rust monster (destroys all metal melee weapons and armor used against it) Hydra (heads regenerate, requires multi-combat to engage the heads so one player can attack and kill the "body") - Sligo
  14. I gave a sara skirt to someone... I don't look so good in a skirt.
  15. Check out the artistry thread. There are a number of things in there that affect POH's and construction.
