I just wish there was an easier way to get metal fragments right now.

Let's please end all this drama. I personally asked Jmod Mat K.

Lol I disagree with the part where he says "if you have to ask, then you know there is something wrong with it so don't do it."

I've had to ask if using joy2key to play using a controller could be flagged as botting, doesn't mean there actually was anything wrong with doing it.

He's just giving an answer without actually giving an answer.  Jagex could literally list everything that is okay and not okay to use, avoiding this years long confusion altogether, but they won't.  And now we have mods conflicting over what is right to use and what is not right to use, including 2 jmods who have played a combined 16 years yet neither have broken 1k total level.  Jagex needs to get actual players together and go through commonly used input options and come to a consensus for those, then when questions arise about things like that joy2key, meet and come to a consensus about that too.

I love when people use the ol' "I'm not new" argument and show they learned absolutely nothing since when they started playing.

It's a shame really that anything Unicorn/Horse/Pegasus related is instantly "MLP COPYHURBLEGURBLE!" these days.

While that is likely the primary cause of the lulz we're having now, there's also the niggling fact that there are a lot of people who like MLP on the staff there. So it kind of fuels the fire.

Also people are incredibly leery of a television show that was originally for children that attracts a large amount of perverted grown men.  Unlike furries who hide their fetishes/obsession, they openly display them through merchandising and forum avatars and lingo amongst other ways.  It's scary how conventions for that show are not safe for children.  Even the ones who don't fetishize it are incredibly annoying, putting it into everything it doesn't need to be in.   I know what some people are thinking.  Yes rule 34 exists for everything.  But at least I can take my kid to a pokemon convention.  People don't fetishize the characters nearly as much or at least nearly as openly.

It isn't exactly grasping at straws to see that this update is an attempt to milk the franchise's popularity.

Shield sold for 1.5b apparently.

Less than I thought for being a first item.  Will probably be down a whole lot very soon once people understand how everything works and learn patterns.  Thanks!

I was the only one on my team who'd gone to Runefest, but we all have a lot of PvM experience. It is very difficult, but the majority of deaths are just silly and seem unavoidable unless you can see 5 seconds into the future. And last I checked, I don't know Chris L ingame.

People love assuming just because you did something you must have insider info and everything is instaeasy because you have good armor.

So whats the difficulty? Because if it has already been killed it can't be as hard as they showed in the video.

It was killed by an elite team of people with the best stats and best-in-slot gear in the game -- and they probably went to Runefest (so they had an advantage) as well. And Mod Chris was either on their team in his alt or was at least in the FC with them.

Far from a piece of cake.

It's fine, I'm better than Fumbra so it can't be too hard.

Here's a thought.. Why don't you just go kill Vorago for the weapons? If you don't have the stats/gear to do that, maybe you dont deserve the weapon in the first place?

If I'm getting ripped apart just for saying people should use the same energy used complaining over years to work towards a goal over that same time, you are going to give someone a heart attack for saying what you said.

EDIT: Oh it already happened

When you start comparing working long hours in RL to achieve your goals to working long hours in a video game, that tells me something is very wrong with the video game.

Stop whining, you loser. Don't you know that cool people can not only afford to throw hundreds of hours of their life for one in game item, but more over that they actually enjoy doing this?

Funny, because you are quoting the guy who sunk hundreds of hours into perfecting how to kill Jad on many different types of accounts in many different ways. All for one item also, technically.

Not only did he do that to help other people, but he did it voluntarily (there was no in game requirement forcing him to do it several times), and because he found it fun, and because at that point in his life he could play quite a bit of Runescape (I believe he works 60-70 hours weekly now). So it's not even a relevant or accurate point. It is in no way comparable to Jagex's ridiculous insistence whereby everyone is forced to play several hundred hours on activities they don't particularly for, so that they can access top gear. Nice ad hominem derailment though. Don't make assumptions about other people when you don't know them.

It's fine, because you are also assuming that 1) people are forced 2) nobody is having fun 3) no one can play quite a bit of runescape, and you are ignoring everything else I posted, and when you reply you will probably ignore everything here too.  We can all make fallacies and assume wrong together.

See I used to be like you guys, complaining about prices of items.  Then I took all the energy wasted in complaining and did something about it.  Now bring on the people saying I cheated or merched or staked or bought gp or whatever.  I did none of that.  Also bring on the people saying I'm lucky or whatever.

Are prices insane? Yes.  But unlike real life you can do something about it.

The girl who proposed that idea to have lvl 90 weapons and stuff obtainable through DG had the worst idea ever proposed.  I wanted to slap her through the screen.

#5457181 Missing, Presumed Death

I think the Godless probably have the best chance of claiming the stone/stopping Sliske because they're committed to their cause enough to not get caught up in the massive dick waving fight all the other gods are gonna be pulled into, plus they're probably more suited for the kind of fighting Sliske engages in (seriously, all of the other factions are missing the point and the only other group which would have a chance is the temple knights, although they might be tied up with the dragonkin). However, their resources are low, so whatever they do have is going to have to be leveraged stronger than Sliske is doing with his resources in order to succeed.

I'm still going to take the easy way out and shack up with Sliske until further details present themselves.

I chose godless faction because there was no guthix faction, but they are seriously underpowered.  One human with the stone doesn't equal a god either.

That seems kind of odd if they actually plan on having one of those gods die though, considering that most of them are pretty popular, and all...

I am curious how much more real time will pass before the "eclipse" that Sliske mentioned..

JAgex logic.

Not enough content to fill September and they just postpone this 1 week to skip a week of content ;)

Who said anything about skipping? There will be two updates next week.

I doubt it. The last few times this has happened the update for that week was pushed back.

If you don't have a comp, you are low leveled. High levels have trimmed comp. Just saying.
