  1. I'm replying to the "did you know" which was posted underneath the articles. Did you know... ...that shooting poison eggs at Penance Healers at Barbarian Assault resets their poison to 1, regardless of the poison your healer teammate has applied? Beware! (Thanks to infam0us911!) As far as i know, the healers in BA can be poisoned multiple times. So shooting an egg at a healer which was allready poisoned by a team mate. Would make it take poison "48" from the food in regular intervals, as well as poison from the eggs, in different, but similar regular intervalls, doing around "10" damage. Please, please, please, check this. People still get flamed for shooting at all due to the myth of shooting costing points, which has been rectified and cleared by Pmod multiple times. I really would hate for people to get flamed more for using the canon in BA.
  2. For the firemaking calculator (and possibly the firemaking planner aswell) It states you gain double xp with the penance horn burning pyred logs. However i just used pyred magic logs to burn vyrewatch corpses and i only got 404 xp each. Also, the ring and gloves do NOT apply when burning vyrewatch corpses on magic pyred logs. As stated 404 xp per log, no more! I have not tried this out on shades yet, so perhaps it does work there, however i very much doubt it.
  3. There are 2 points in the article that annoy me. The first one is your Titanic analogy. The Titanic sank because it was slashed open over just about the whole side. Resulting in making a hole in a lot of watertight compartments. If it had hit the iceberg heads on, it would have made a nice hit, but never would have gone down, since there would only have been 1 compartment with water in it. Making the left turn therefor wasn't a good decicion as it pointed the vurnerable side towards the iceberg, and putting the engines in reverse made it even worse! It just helped turning even faster so there was more side to offer to the iceberg. The second thing which i disagree with is the statement that RC never was profitable in F2P. I don't know about now, i have been members for a long time now, but when i started runescape, i made most of my money with RC. The cost of essence back then was just less then double the cost of an air rune. So by the time you could make 2 air runes from 1 essence you had profit and by the time you could make 3 airs you could hire runners and still make profit!
  4. This reminds me of something... Perhaps it would be nice to have a guide/map on where to be to buy/sell which items in world 1 and 2? I play runescape for 2 years now, and i still have to bug a more experienced friend about where to stand to buy or sell something in such a world. He once pointed out to me that there was a corner for herbs and potions, and a place for runes and arrows and such. On the topic of this article, i kinda liked it. Everyone had to start once, and i'm usually glad to help people get started. I just try to get them started by telling them things like: "to find the bank, open the world map, and look at where to find the bank sign there" and "if you want to know how to get started on farming, check the manual, you can find that at the main page... etc" Most people don't even know there is such a wealth of information to be found so easily, i know it took me a while!
  5. If you bank is truly, truly a complete mess, you could consider cleaning it once completely. Don't just start with moving things in between other things, consider what you want to put in the firs space on the top row (for me that is money). Get out that item, and reinsert it at the bottom. After that, just get out 28 items at a time, and think about which ones you want to have closer to the top and which ones less close, then re insert them after money Eventually, you will have your whole bank, completely looked through that way, and then your stack of money will be in the top corner right where you want it to be, and everything else will sit behind it the way you organised it! I did this once, and ever since then at least the top part of my bank has been ordered according to skill and use. It the only sure way i know not to forget or ignore the miscelanious things you have. ;-) Nice guide! Nothing new in here for me unfortunatly, but at least this will help people do this faster, it took me over to year to come up with some sort of bank organisation, and about 5 tips from a good friend to get to where i am now.
