This author seemed to scour Runescape for evidence of condescension and use it to retort JagexÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s effort to develop the game. I'm disappointed, I miss The Editor :(

I Craft nats, grow rannars, and manage miscellania all at the same time to make money. At the best, in about an hour and a half I can get 600k; but Miscellania only delivers once per 24 hours.

Wow, are spirit seeds really that rare? I got one almost a year ago chopping oaks for construction. I knew they weren't too common so I kept it even after going F2P. I'm surprised you could achieve a woodcutting level of 90 without a spirit tree seed while my woodcutting isn't even ranked! Congratz on making it into the homestretch! Hope you don't get so sick of farming that you'll stop right at 99 :lol:

I was near tears after having a nasty (verbal) fight with a friend on Runescape. It really had nothing to do with the game, though. The one dream I remember having had very little to do with Runescape, but I did happen to eat a partyhat :|

There was a poll during the week of September 11, 2006 concerning how much information Behind the Scenes articles should offer. The popular vote at 45% was "I would like to be told everything as early as possible!" I had the opposite stance; I loved how our only hint that the long-awaited Construction skill was coming in May '06 was the tiny, one-sentence paragraph at the end of the BTS article: In contrast, the hunter skill was very bluntly announced at the beginning of the following November. Unexpectedness certainly makes for a better spice.

So often I've seen player mods harassed and bombarded with questions; many of them quite stupid. Just the other day someone asked a mod if Jagex gave them a preview of what the Dark Bow would look like :roll: Not being a mod myself, I can't speculate on whether the utility/authority is worth the distinction and segregation.

Or be a Metallica fan (like me): the title of an instrumental is based on it: The Call Of Ktulu. (which is obviously based on Lovecraft too, Cliff was a fan of those tales) There are a lot in the songs: 'Aye Car Rum Ba': Bart Simpson. 'Catch Me If You Can' is a movie I believe. 'Escape' is a Metallica song too, but it's a common used word so it probably isn't based on that. 'Faithless' is some music act too, but same thing as with Escape here. 'Golden Touch': the tale of king Midas (sp?). 'Hells Bells': AC/DC song. 'Tomb Raider': Lara Croft (sp?) There must be lots more I didn't notice. A few others i'm aware of are: 'All's Fairy in Love an War': All's Fair in Love and War, either a movie or just a saying. 'Romancing the Crone': Similar to the movie titled Romancing the Stone 'Beetle Juice': Either the movie Beetle Juice or a Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy reference to Ford Prefect.

I just about never pick my own flax or spin my own bowstrings, but isn't Lletya also an excellent place? I forgot if they have a spinning wheel or not, but the bank is extremely closeby.

What about southern Karamja or the Kharazi Jungle? Shilo Village seemed fairly whole to me, and Legends Quest didn't leave room for much more. Perhaps it will be intertwined with the Gnome/Monkey storyline, or maybe pirates will try to invade the mainland?

I thought tinderboxes were irreplaceable, so I guarded mine with my life. After a mugger managed to yank it away, I was so upset that I made a new account.

I'll go with the majority on Mournings End Pt II I swear if I had to cross those handholds one more time I would have died; it was especially bad because my low combat level meant I practically drowned myself with prayer potions. Never managed to reached 65 Runecrafting for the death runes :-k But being able to wear that quest cape for a few months AFTER I returned to F2P was priceless. Too bad they fixed that glitch...

One of the better articles I've read in a long time. I've contemplated the future of Jagex, but I've always been a little biased because they seem to be the pioneers in the market of large-scale java based gaming. Looking at their corporate website, it seems they have some large ambitions outside of Runescape. I'm anxious to see the product of that vision.
