  2. I probably would still play... I don't really do much when I'm on so I don't require the levels... and money is really easy to make ;)... RuneScape is just a nice kickback for me when I get off work, nothing serious it can be.
  3. To answer your questions: How long does it take to become a pmod?: There is no time to becoming a mod, you could be on your first week of playing and become a mod. There is no technique or style into modship, it's an invitation from Jagex. How many people do I have to report to become 1?: Zero. You don't have to report anybody, and you still and you still can become a mod. Reporting and sending queries correctly helps sometimes though, because it's easier for them to recognize you. Follow good conduct, respect all players whether they are meanies or not, and back some up. But really don't have to do anything, it just... happens. Could I report small reasons to become a mod?: It could lower your opportunity, because you back up their customer support system with tiny reports when they want to deal with more important matters. Some people consider macro a small offense and offensive language, they are not. Report people that bypass the censor or spam, it helps fix up the system a little bit and when the person gets a black mark or a warning, he or she may slow down or stop with the foul language which will make a better game for everybody ^_^. Macro is not small either, and it doesn't back up the customer support because the reports go through a detection program first. --> This guide is getting old and outdated... I may make a completely new one or completely spice this one up . More questions help improve this guide, try not to focus on modship though, there is NO way to "try" to become a mod. You just wait till jagex recognize you and you are acceptable to be invited into modship. Just enjoy the game and report as you see conduct destruction. For a quick note to all, i'm not a mod as said in some previous posts:P. See the amazing things non-mods can do to help control conduct in game and maintain an exciting and positive environment?! Keep up the great work, and enjoy the game! Expect an update soon, should be more clear and concise, will be working with updated rules. That or a new post :boohoo: ... Thank you all!
  4. You are correct about my dial up, but from what I can see, there can't be that much macroers then. Sometimes when I minimize the window and forget runescape is open (already logged out long ago) and open a new one later, the computer crashes. But I can't assume that all dial up is like so. Thanks for the comments. This guide will be editted on word (to reduce typing and grammar errors) as there are update to the rules and improvements that can be made on the guide. Thank you very much.
  5. Some level 123 or something like that was giving away free things in world 1 (guess he was quitting) and my friend got a free white phat from him, I was there to see the guy was giving out free stuff to a bunch of people, but i never got an offer :(
  6. Sorry for the quick spam You would add people just because they're a mod... How sad. Don't you judge a person by their character, not all mods are good you know...
  7. I'd feel exactly the same as now. Need reporting tips - you can check out my link on the bottom... You may think you know all the reporting tricks (I though so too), but there's lots! And more can be added to the guide below too if you want to suggest some :P
  8. That's false, any lvl any look can macro.
  9. What time is this in PST? I think you're 11 hours ahead of me so probably like 6 in the morning, I could show up I think (i'm an early bird) If i don't show up, atleast i know it would have been fun, congratulations!
  10. White Phat Red White Christmas Scarf (Holiday item non tradable) Full Sara (including kite) Mime Boots, Red Gloves, Red Cape Skull Sceptre The combination is nice :P That or: Red Phat Red White Christmas Scarf (Holiday item non tradable) Full Zammy (kite too) Mime Boots, Red Gloves, Red Cape Skull Sceptre Basically the same thing except red.
  11. I want this guide in the AOW, therefore, I am asking more out of you! Questions: ask a question to improve this guide to your satisfaction. If you have no questions, this guide is satisfactory. Comments: love 'em, bad or good comments, good comments telling me iI have done well. The bad ones are good too, telling me how i can improve the guide. Thank you for the support fellow tip.it-ers. \
  12. Naturally, you want to become a moderator because you are decieved into thinking they have more. THEY HAVE A CROWN WITH THEIR NAME, we have a name too. THEY HAVE 48 HOUR MUTE, we have an ignore list too. THEY HAVE PRIORITY REPORT, we can report abuse or send in queries (and the important thing is that they will eventually see your report) too. THEY HAVE FORUMS, we have tip.it too. As you can see, people that are moderators do not have this great power. I'd post some things to prove it, but it's confidential :-w, and no, I am not a moderator.
  13. I have to disagree with you, telling somebody that you are going to report them isn't going to make them stop, when you tell them you are going to report them, you give them exactly what they want, and what they want is a reason to hate you. I believe encouraging others to send in queries and reports is an excellent thing to do. Why would it be so wrong? If somebody took the time to read the entire guide, they would know how to send in a good query - therefore they won't get banned for sending in junk. You are right, reporting doesn't make you a mod. Although reporting can be done for yourself. If bad people don't get reported, they will just grow. There are bad people in the world, and letting it go is the worst thing to do. So report if something is wrong no matter your intentions. If something is wrong or somebody is doing something bad, you report it. Nobody cares if you want to be a mod, or if you do it for yourself, or you just don't like bad people. Letting something wrong just go by is the worst thing you can do. Don't be discouraged. And deep down inside, naturally everybody who isn't a mod is curious of what modship is like and would like to be one. It's just natural. Although it's also natural people don't like being told how they feel #-o and I just did that. Excuse me. Hope this helps, later.
  14. Becareful when you use the word "rare" in your joke. If you use "rare" on something that isn't "rare" like burnt swordfish - IT IS REPORTABLE because it's decieving the other players whether it's a joke or not. Because I know it's a joke, I would just give you the warning and say something funny myself... However, that can't stop the others from reporting you. Play it safe, there are a lot of player moderators, and many who wish to become one... I'm sure you know where i'm heading :-$ . PLAY IT SAFE, if you want to joke you can say selling black fish. or try something original \ EDIT: Typos fixed.
  15. Business as in selling something in game - and as in a fair runescape trade runescape object for runescape object. No real world trading. I was pretty sure I put how to report websites in the query section i'll tell you now however and check to see if I messed up or not: There are 2 ways to report a website: When somebody says a website in game by advertising it you can report it for rule 11. Try not to report people who are trying to help though like quest guides on tip it would be dumb to report somebody trying to help you or others. Once again, be aware that if somebody reports you for helping somebody else by telling them to find guides on tip it, it's a legit report and all you can do is appeal and plead for forgiveness. The 2nd way is to send in a query on either Complaint or Other: Simply just say: "I am reporting this website: (enter website name here) (Explain what rules the website is breaking ~~> If possible try to use synonyms and be polite such as ending it like so:) Regards from Aubrey666." Remember, good grammar, spelling, and use of vocab will impress them and help get the word accross to them. Thank you for the feedback sorry I was gone for quite some time (had some computer security issues) Be safe 8-) EDIT: And yes, I can make a guide on Account Recovery/Queries. For now I suggest you use your recovery questions to get your password back or try a couple passwords you would use for the account. Without your password your account is simply stuck.
