Go to a site like youtube and search for Jad. thousands of vids there. @ Miker yes a lot of people screw up because of that. Maybe something to add in the guide? [edit] I just got a zamorak stole from a clue. It's an amulet, which gives +2 magic attack and defence, and +10 PRAYER bonus. Better then an unholy symbol you think?

That's too bad, but I died too on the first two attempts. These are the tips I gave to a friend earlier today, and which are probably universal or so: At the wave with double 180 + 360, kill the Ket-Zek and park the 180's in your safespot. Turn off prayer or anything, get your bro to keep pressing the accept aid button on and off so you don't logout, and go to the bathroom, eat a sandwich, and refresh yourself for Jad. When at the yellow 360, drink brew + restore + ranged, swap to second crystal or karils xbow ( I prefer karils xbow rather then second crystal, because the crystal will cost you 900K and the xbow only 15K in ammunition, and you can sell the bow later on) and turn auto-retaliate to on. When the message from the TzHaar dude appears, put on ranged prayer as muggi says and wait for the sound. IF it's retribution, swap to magic and don't do anything. YOur char will run up to Jad so you should be able to predict his next attack by his looks. ^^I always mess up on the first prayer, but I always manage to heal back from 20 hp When at Jad, don't do more then 1 action between switching prayers. Don't guess that you can drink 2 pots, or drink a pot and click on attack Jad, as he will ALWAYS be faster. Never let your prayer fall below 30. When the healers appear, NEVER RUSH things. first step is to watch Jad's attack before anything. Then switch auto-retaliate to off. Predict again, and attack a healer. Get all 4 of them to attack you, and finish Jad off. If you feel comfortable handling the prayers, you can let your health slip to 25 or something before healing up. If you're a chicken, heal when you get to 75 hp. Ranged potting won't really work then, because you keep lowering your ranged and it would take many turns to get it back up high, and I'd prefer just to hit him in that time. One final word, Jad is ugly as hell.

There's not much planning to do, other then getting the correct outfit and your little brother as a servant for 2 hours :-w This was a picture from my first attempt: And these 3 pictures were from my last \ The caves itself were as usual: Dead simple. I used about 25 doses of super restore and a full sara brew to get to the final 360's. Killed the first, and the second I could lure behind the Italy Rock, so I prepared for Jad as I slew him. Jad spawned right where I wanted him to, as you can see on my first picture: I didn't waste much time shivering and attacked him. The prayer switching went fine, although I made one mistake, which costed me 75 hitpoints. Nothing my sara brews couldn't fix. Then the healers came, and I attacked them and they lined up from themselves. Didn't mind that 8-). I continued hitting Jad, the healers were slowly hitting me, but not fast enough to make me drink sara brews before Jad was dead. Jad kept maging all the time and rarely used his range, so that again was my luck and his undoing. In the end, this was the result:

Gl with it Mikercool, I'll try again myself later on today. I think I'll bring 15 super restore (3) max, because I simply won't use the rest of them. I'd probably have enough if I only bring 10 doses (3) of them, but just to be safe I'll bring 15 ;)

Goes through cave with ease, and kills the yellow 360. Jad hits out of nowhere with his magic attack, me reading all the guides had my prayer on ranged :-w Get hit for 70 damage or so, but I survived and healed up to 80 health or so. Everything goes well, the healers show up but I hit them and let them attack me. I get hit a few times by the healers, but manage to almost kill Jad. By then I was down to 30 health or so, so I drank my sara brew and switched prayers. Think I was actually TOO fast with it, as it switched right back allowing Jad to Kill me :roll:

Started at the caves, at wave 2 my 'full' crystal bow degraded to 9/10. I kept standing at italy rock, so I could deal with the monsters one at a time. I practically tore through everything thrown at me, until at the wave with a 360, 180 and a 45 where both the 360 and the 180 spawned in the northwestern room, and attacked me at the same time. Instead of running around the 180 to the safe spot, I accidentaly ran through the 360 and got melee-d a 42. Healed up from 25 hp to 70 or so, and killed everything without further mistakes until wave 62. When the second 360 was almost dead, I potted up and ran beind Italy Rock when he died. Jad spawned in the middle, and crawled towards me. When he started attacking me, I messed up the magic prayer when at first and got hit an 82. Healed up to about 70 from that in between attacks, but messed up again in drinking pots/switching prayers, this time getting hit 58. Healed up as far as I could, but I panicked a bit and got hit 59 and died :wall:

My bow is full, and with 99 ranged I expect to be able to do all up to Jad with just one crystal. I think 200 bolts will do for Jad, don't you \ *sigh* No-one sells me a V helm...

How far can I come on just one full crystal? I am 86 defence, 70 prayer and 99 ranged 8-)
