Marmaros and Thok letter Part 4.

19 May 2015 - 06:01 PM

Hello fellow Gielinorians!

I got a simple question for you all that I would like to get answered: How would I best go around obtaining my final Marmaros and Thok Letter (Part 4) from Dungeoneering? I got all but this letter unlocked, and am currently level 118. I would prefer to get it before I hit the maximum level. Do I need to keep redoing the floors around the 15-25 mark, as I have heard from a few sources? Do those need to be of any certain complexity? Any certain size to maximize my chances?

All and any help is very much appreciated.

120 Divination

31 December 2014 - 08:31 PM

120 Divination have been a long-time goal for me since Master Skillcapes were released in April. And today, on the last day of the year, I achieved it.

Elf areas updates and Aviansie&Vyrewatch outfits 9/6

09 June 2014 - 10:39 AM

Preparations for the release of the Elf City have been made today, with some updated graphics of Lleyta and other elf-quest related areas (well needed in my own opinion).

Elf City - Quest Areas Improvements

Today, there's a big batch of graphical improvements to Lletya and the elven quest areas for you to enjoy, as you skill and quest your way towards the Elf City requirements.
Complete the prerequisites for this year's biggest update in a better-looking Tirannwyn.
Let's Getcha to Lleyta
Today's graphical updates are focused around four quests: Underground Pass,Mourning's End I, Mourning's End II, and Within the Light. The areas in which those quests take place have been spritzed, shined and retextured, and look better than ever.
We've also rebuilt the town of Lleyta with some elegant woodwork, giving it an atmosphere unique to the elves' woodland realm.

Within the Light and Catapult Construction are the quest requirements for entering Prifddinas when it opens later this year. Completing them and their pre-requisite quests is quite a feat, so now's the time to get stuck into some elven adventuring.

Remember, too, that the crystal amulet will give you daily bonus XP towards the Prifddinas skill requirements. It will also allow you to start collecting new crystal resources for use when the city opens. Get hold of one of these when you subscribe at 25% discount in our Summer Special membership offer.

Have Fun!

We're getting closer to the Elf City launch, so it's high time for a walk in the forest. Take a look, and let us know your thoughts on the forums.

We have also got two new SGS outfits in the game today. One of them based of a suggestion I put up myself on the forums as the great aviansie and Armadyl fan I am (QFC: 309-310-871-65260118). I am of course very happy to see this my idea put into the real game!

Solomon's General Store - Vyrewatch and Aviansie outfits

The Character Team have been hard at work over the past few months, working to bring you the fourth instalment of their outfit showcase.

This week, we are proud to announce two cosmetic override outfits: one inspired by the deadly Vyrewatch of Darkmeyer, and the other by the proud aviansie race.

The Vyrewatch Skyshadow Outfit is a fangtastic dark delight, straight from Morytania. Along with your vampyric ensemble you’ll receive both a Vyrewatch Staff and Wings.

My inspiration for this kit came from the original concept art and the fantastic Vyrewatch storyline. I tried to keep it simple while instilling the key motifs and colours.

Mod Sparkly

With his recent win against Bandos, Armadyl’s followers are more prominent than ever. Join them with the brand new Aviansie Skyguard Outfit, while joining the battle against injustice with your grand Aviansie Greatbow.

I took my inspiration for this outfit from the awesome aviansie models in the game. I know this is one you guys have been asking for on the forums, so I hope you enjoy it!

Mod Yann

Both outfits are now available in my store, so stop by for a closer look. As always, you can get your hands on more RuneCoins by redeeming Bonds in-game, by clicking ‘Buy RuneCoins’ within Solomon's General Store, or direct from our website.

Make sure you drop by and say hello in-game some time. You can find me just south of the Grand Exchange!

Until next time,

Any and all comments on these two newsposts are very welcome as usual.

Finding Vorago teams.

19 November 2013 - 03:48 PM

Hello all.

I got a rather specific, high-level question. I have been having quite some problems finding Vorago teams, even though I do meet the 'normal' reqs with gear and skills (Tectonic, vwand, 99 summ/herb/pray and so on). I have tried using the official forums but they seem to be very slow moving most of the time. What I simply wish to know is where I could possibly find more people interested in killing the probably hardest boss in game?

All tips are greatly appreciated. Just please don't tell me to join 'that and that or that' clan as I am perfectly happy with my current one. A friend's chat, a group of players, a website, or whatever really would be great though.

Thanks in advance.

22-Jul-2013 - RuneScape 3!

03 July 2013 - 01:23 PM

It is here.

We are no more playing 'Runescape', as in the version it has been for the last 9 years. Runescape has taken the next big step. We're now enjoying Runescape 3 when we play the main game version. Updated audio, new lore, a new world-changing event and a highly customization-able interface system are some of the new features.
Amazing according to me.

RuneScape 3 Now Live

RuneScape 3 is here! A new age dawns today, kicking off with the Battle of Lumbridge. Along with the hugely customisable New Interface System, the chance for fame in Seasonal Hiscores, over 6 hours of new live performed music and a range of technical improvements, it's time to play RuneScape your way.

Please note: We strongly recommend that - regardless of your computer spec - you access the Battle of Lumbridge in the Java Client for your first log-in, rather than the HTML5 Beta.

The Battle of Lumbridge (free players and members)

Unless you're currently in tutorial mode, you'll be teleported straight to Lumbridge upon log-in. Once you're there, you'll see - in no uncertain terms - that the 6th Age has started with a bang.

You'll meet Kara-Meir upon arrival. She'll explain what has happened to the landscape surrounding Lumbridge; why all-out war has broken out between two powerful factions; and what you can do to help.

You'll be able to join one of the two factions, and to collect divine tears - fragments of condensed, Guthixian energy that can be gathered through combat and skilling, both on the battlefield and off.

Each day you can collect a set amount of divine tears for your faction - more if you're a member - and the side which has collected the most after ten weeks will emerge victorious.

Please note: the Battle of Lumbridge is a huge event spanning more than two months, which will change week to week depending on your actions. For full details of what you can do, speak to the NPCs in your faction's camp and in Lumbridge, and look out for notifications in-game.

Battle of Lumbridge
Along with the opportunity to take part in this world-shaking battle and to take a hand in shaping the new age, there are some fantastic rewards on offer too. As you contribute divine tears to your cause, you'll earn renown, which can be exchanged by your faction's quartermaster for XP lamps, hybrid armour that scales with your Defence level up to 75, emotes, titles and much more. The selection of rewards will expand as the weeks go on, so be sure to take part for as long as the battle rages.

History is written by the victorious, and new worlds forged with courage and steel. Take part in the Battle of Lumbridge and leave your mark on RuneScape's 6th Age!

Seasonal Hiscores (members only)

Enjoy some time in the spotlight with Seasonal Hiscores. These hiscore tables are run over set periods of time and involve varied areas of RuneScape content, giving everyone - veteran or new player alike - the chance for their shot at glory. Compete for the chance to wear the Crown of Supremacy (and, once your reign's over, the Crown of Legends), and to earn emotes and titles worthy of your victory. You can view the seasonal hiscores in-game - via the Social tab.

The hiscores section of the website has been revamped too, along with the rest of the website. As well as the top player, clan and seasonal hiscores, you can also track the progress of the Battle of Lumbridge. Take a look at the hiscores page now!

New Interface System (free players and members)

Chances are you've already spent some time with the NIS in the beta, but our awesomely customisable interface system is now live! Whether you're a die-hard fighter, a super-efficient skiller or a wide-eyed explorer of RuneScape's vistas, every element of the interface is now yours to snap-to, resize and rearrange as you please.

If you aren't sure where to start, press 'Escape' and choose from a range of presets, geared towards combat players, skillers, and those who simply prefer the look of an old-school interface.

Get started now!

Technical Improvements (free players and members)

New audio technology means spectacular orchestral music in the game, composed by BAFTA winner James Hannigan and played by the Slovak Symphony Orchestra. Turn up your speakers or stick on your headphones!

You can also view your character in his or her full glory and experience RuneScape from a whole new viewpoint with our newly flexible camera. Zoom in and see what you think!

RuneScape 3 is just the beginning, and you are the driving force of its new age. While you're getting to grips with the new features, please keep sending us your feedback - we'll keep listening, and making the game that you want to see.

Please note: the HTML5 Client is still at beta stage. For those of you who want to try out the cutting-edge new client, we encourage you to continue testing it out, but please be aware that optimisation is still underway and performance may be affected.

Visit our RuneScape 3 Beta wiki page for information on the HTML5 Beta.
