What's this about harvesting double the herbs?

Those who experiment with their environment, attracting eight different creatures in a given week, will win XP and clothing rewards. Those who go a step further, and entice the elusive Guthix, Saradomin and Zamorak jadinkos, will receive an even scarcer prize. With seven new plants to grow and eight Construction features to build, Papa Mambo has grown an area that puts others to shaman.

However, I do think it's a good thing that they're trying to get the costs back to a more acceptable price. I'm just not so sure I like the means after what they've done to some of the other skills when "rebalancing" them.

The double-herb itself looks like another one of those "chances" skill upgrade, which usually means no dramatic effect on the skill . The update as a whole might have a bigger effect. we'll have to wait and see.

My impression is they're trying to lower the cost of the skill. With getting 2nds back using the Dungeoneering scroll and the ability to get double herbs while farming it seems that is the case. Although we're not sure how the double harvest will work yet.

Which then makes farming so much easier and possibly less profitable. <_<

Farming difficulty will not be effected much because of the double herbs (assuming you'll get double xp) ,herblore will . i agree on the less profitable part.
Overall Dark is right, It seems Jagax tries to reduce herblore costs to a "sane" level.
Wish they do the same with pray (POH update maybe).
