Killing all assortments of beasties, nasties, and uglies. That includes other players.
  1. I really enjoyed this article. The author certainly makes a wonderful point, and it's true; We should in turn show kindness to those who are rude to us as it really gets them steamed. In most cases, it's the quickest way to avoid an incident. Awesome article! I give it a gold star! \
  2. Here's another one for ya. Just got this one not too long ago. Maybe he'll recognize himself or something. Afterall... who cares what I do?
  3. The Editor hit it on the head when he/she said that Hunting is a net zero. But that's okay. The most expensive item in the skill is the imp boxes, which is over 700 coins. Personally, I enjoy hunting, though I'm disappointed that there is very little outcome or very few rewards in it. However, I'm sure that Jagex will release updates for it eventually. Hopefully it will be like Slayer where they introduce a few new creatures to hunt every month or so. Another thing I like about the skill is that it levels so quickly. I was gaining an average of 10 levels a day, and I'm currently at level 57 because I thought my slayer skill was a little more important. Overall, I rate the hunter skill a 7/10 until Jagex starts expanding it a little. Good article, too.
  4. There are no words to describe the amount of laughing I did after I read this. I too laughed an insane amount, and then I got to wondering... who was the lucky player that got a Party Hat for 100k? :-k
  5. I have to agree. And it seems that after updates, people seem to find bugs or other disagreeable things when it comes to certain things. While I'll admit that the treasure trail items is a nifty update, it could have waited. I wouldn't have minded at all. I also wouldn't mind Jagex taking a break for two or three weeks so they can churn out a killer quest or something really neat. I'm tired of half-strung updates. Eagle's Peak wasn't anything that incredibly great. I know there will be people who disagree and demand that an update come out once a week. But then again, this is just my opinion. EDIT: Another thing was Hunting. Hunting took EVERYONE by surprise because it came out of nowhere. I'm not knocking the skill. It's not as terrible as farming, but I would've loved to have anticipated it for a month or so before it was released.
  6. I have a friend that turns his in each time, so he has like 20 masks and 10 prince outfits. I keep all of mine in case Jagex wants to release something new... like the Tadpole machine gun. I don't have near enough to even consider entering in this contest.
  7. I'm in the habit of catching level 3 clues. The only thing that are a pain with those are the God wizards that appear on coordinate clues. But I've never gotten a level 3 clue that's left me high and dry. Usually it's rune plate, legs, helmets, or black d-hide items. I've gotten Zammy legs before. So yes... when you can, start doing level 3s
  8. I fully support this thread. The thing that made World of Warcrack so Role-play friendly (yes, I try to RP in Runescape... it doesn't work so well) was the fact that we could do little things like sit on the ground or sit in the chairs at the inn and swap stories. I would love to sit down with my buddies in the Blue Moon and swap pker stories. Heck, I even liked the idea of playing cards. Jagex could incorporate a small mini-game like Go Fish that players can play against each other. No prizes, just something to fiddle away the time with. Afterall, adventuring is pretty stressful.
  9. Well... that's a level 1 clue for ya. It's hard to get anything good off of those at all. If you really want to start rolling in the loot, go after level 3s. Basic ones will give you a full set of rune if you're lucky.
