  1. It it displayed very clearly on your screen when you enter the portal, and before you enter the portal is marked as dangerous. I really dont see anyone being misinformed, just lured. Ah Okay. I was thinking of safe FFA, but the video shows it is dangerous FFA. Can't really remember but I did voluntarily get 'lured' when pvp worlds took over wilderness, and I swear that the safe portal was dangerous. Though my memory is very sketchy. Anyway when did they remove the clan wars in wilderness?
  2. No one has said hello back since 12 November 2009. :'(

  3. I would not call the victims stupid, but just misinformed. FFA was a 'safe' mini game pre-wilderness return right?. The lobby is safe right? so I would have assumed the victims assumed the mini game was still safe. Two lessons the victims should have learned a long time ago; Never take valuable items to new areas / areas that have just been changed. Never trust anyone in RuneScape, even those on your friends list.
  4. Just finished watching some of the videos uploaded on YouTube. Interesting event held by Jagex and it's good to see people who attended had fun. After watching 3 minutes of The Insider Session I got bored due to having very little interest in RuneScape. The balloon drop put a smile on my face. It replicated the party room atmosphere pretty well; noisy at the start until the balloons get dropped and it's down to serious business. Did anyone try making the statues flinch?

  6. Y do I like 2 talk like dis 4? Cos im a hippy. U government con trolld conformist r jus mad Jus think bout it da govrnment controls da skools who teach grammr der4 ur governmnt con trolld But seriously I do not care if someone uses 'u' or 'r' just as long as I understand them. I think this is one of the downsides of technology. Most people have become reliant on spell-check that people are not learning like they have before (look, cover, write and check), but simply right click and replace the word when they see a red underline. In the long term it does not help you learn how to spell. Which is probably why you see a lot of misspelled words in RuneScape.
  7. Go all natural. Natural ripped muscles look better than water muscles. Also my local doctor told me that creatine can cause heart problems. The doctor has had patients in their early 20's who complained about chest discomfort.
  8. Some images from 2005 - 2007 The bot era: See through bank glitch, lasted for 5 minutes possibly due to lag: 2006 lesser demons:
  9. I tried to purchase a purple partyhat at around 69mil and a few days later they began to rise again. I kept up with the price rise of partyhats, but throughout that period they were unbuyable at market price. A month later partyhats crashed for a few days and I bought a purple for 88mil. Another month later I upgraded my purple to yellow and had to pay 106mil + 20mil junk. So either you wait for a crash to happen or take a large amount of junk with your purchase. Getting a partyhat has always been a goal of mine and I had to practically sell my whole bank for it. It was worth it though, as I got to achieve my last goal and retire happily. Why do you want a partyhat?
  10. Jagex should take items from the G.E, and use them as drops in PvP. Money / items are not generated out of thin air. Though EP'ing will still be possible, balance will be restored.

    Honor Pking ?

I used a stop watch and timed between the splashes. When first splash appears press start, when 2nd/3rd splash appears stop. Simple and easy. The 10 times are seperate samples. Example: Eating at beginning process of/while swinging (no eating animation present), timed till 3rd hit (HIT) time[eat] (HIT) time (HIT) 1) When the first splash appeared, I started the stop watch. 2) I ate while the character was swinging, so that the swinging is only present while the eatting animation is not present 3) I stopped the watch once the 3rd splash appeared 4) I wrote down the value 5) I then began a different sample Using different weapons would not make any difference, as the time between hits are the same for each individual weapon. The only difference between weapons is the attack speed. Of course there would be no delay once the person dies. From the above example the 3rd splash would not appear, therefore no delay. But if a person fails to K.O their opponent, that person cannot escape the delay as I have shown the delay is transferred between the 2nd and 3rd hit. And it's not a claim anymore, I've tested it and found that there is a delay. Feel free to test it yourself.

    Honor Pking ?

Okay I quickly tested the time delays using a bronze 2h and this is what I got; Base time between 2 hits: Time from 1st to 2nd with out eating (HIT) time (HIT); 4.2 4.2 4.0 4.3 4.1 4.3 4.3 4.4 4.2 4.3 Eat after 1 second of 1st hit (Timed till 2nd hit); 6.3 5.9 6.0 6.2 6.1 6.0 6.1 5.9 6.4 6.0 Eating after 2 second of 1st hit (Timed till 2nd hit); 6.2 6.3 6.1 6.1 6.1 6.2 6.0 6.2 6.2 6.1 Eating after 3 second of 1st (Timed till 2nd hit); 6.0 6.1 6.1 6.1 6.0 6.1 6.0 6.3 6.1 6.1 Eating just before swing (no eatting animation present); 5.8 6.3 6.2 6.2 6.2 5.9 6.0 6.1 6.1 6.1 Eating at beginning process of/while swinging (no eating animation present); 4.8 4.8 4.7 4.2 4.6 4.3 4.5 4.7 4.5 4.4 Base time between 3 hits: Time from 1st to 3rd hit without eating (HIT) time (HIT) time (HIT); 8.6 8.5 8.5 8.6 8.6 8.7 8.7 8.6 8.3 8.6 Eating after 1 second between 1st and 2nd hit, timed till 3rd hit is achieved (HIT) time[eat] (HIT) time (HIT); 10.4 10.4 10.5 10.6 10.4 10.6 10.5 10.5 10.4 10.3 Eating at beginning process of/while swinging (no eating animation present), timed till 3rd hit (HIT) time[eat] (HIT) time (HIT) 10.2 10.5 10.2 10.3 10.4 10.5 10.5 10.5 10.4 10.4 ------------------------------------ Looking at the results between 2 hits eating from 1 second, 2 second, 3 second and just before the swing, the delay is about 2 seconds. However eating while at the process of swinging (so that no eating animation appears except for the swinging animation) the results showed that the time was very close to the base time between two hits. However looking at the timing between three hits, both methods revealed that the times were the same. This shows that though you save time between the 1st and 2nd hit, the 2 second delay is still transferred between the 2nd and 3rd hit. So in conclusion it does not matter when you eat, as there will always be a delay.

    Honor Pking ?

delay = miss a turn. Yes, from the thousands of fights I have been in. I would assume every pker stays till they have run out of food / low food. I was also using your example "If everyone eats and finally runs away, all you waste is food", which implied using all of your food. So you do agree that 'safing' achieves nothing. 'Safing' is fine when you just got a kill and someone is pjing you. Even 'honor pkers' run. Running is fine (I find tele'ing fine - but a lot of the hardcore 'honor pkers' detest it.), unless it was a death match. Other than that the only time (I remember) a person would stay to die would be either because they were lagging/dc, tried to 3 item and accidently skulled(then got tbed or was too deep in wild to escape) or wearing bronze armour. It was extremely rare (in f2p) to K.O someone 'safing'. P2p - high hits - so 'safing' does not really matter. I do agree with the idea of greed though "people are less willing to part with their items". But why go to a game where there is risk to lose items when there are a lot of similar risk-free pvp games such as castle wars, stealing creations, soul wars, mobilising armies, duel arena, fight caves, clan wars free-for-all and clan wars arena. If it's to gain something, it can't be. As it's been proven time and time again that if someone safes 1) the other person walks away or 2) the other person safes too and it would be extremely rare for either one to die (in f2p). But if it's for fun - fine, but pkers will just simply walk away.
