RuneScape Information

  1. Lol, don't worry, I had to do exactly the same thing when I bought GH3 :P Anyway, can't wait for the update, gonna be great for the summer playing. *Applaudes Jagex*
  2. Nice one guys, especially Turtlefemm. Really made me think about the times you 'scapers had before I joined in August 2005. Back then, the community spirit was better than it is now, but a shadow of what you describe. It's kinda depressing how you suddenly log on to find an important part of your RuneScape life gone. That would be enough to make anyone quit, but you seem a very loyal person. You've been through loads; why would this make you quit? Just hang-on in there, I'm sure there'll be many more updates to make up for your loss. Good Luck. :D
  3. I got 99 firemaking, 100 combat, 1720 total and a blue mask =P. I initally bought a santa after selling most of my good stuff and then made cash from rc and sold santa and bought a lovely blue mask. I'm loving the trimmed fm cape ftw =]
  4. The GodSword is only as fast as a battleaxe so for any of you that think this will be the whip's replacement - think again. Also the GodSword is 2-Handed as mentioned earlier meaning power comes at a price :) Any clues gotten from GodWars boss monsters will most likely be level-3 and give a very nice reward (hopefully).
  5. Good idea if you plan to add more stuff **BUT** :ohnoes: I think you should be able to save which menus you have open and which you have closed. For example, I do not often use the Atlases therefore I would like that to be closed but the rest I frequently use so it would be convenient for them to remain open so I can easily click on them when I visit TipIt. This could be achieved by using a preferences link, in which you could customize which menus you would like to have open/closed, that can be saved allowing you to easily access the menus you want without having to collapse them each time.
  6. Good guide mate =] This'll be useful in the future, thanks =] 9/10 =D>
  7. 5-7 hours eh? More like 10-14 lol Gratz on 1900 total =P
  8. OK, thanks for those, but just after posting this I realised there was a sticky for it. :wall: So, I don't know if there's any more point in this thread. If Mod's feel this needs to be deleted then do so. =]
  9. Right, well, I've just had the new random event and I thought you might want to know some details. You are teleported [by the Mysterious Old Man I think] to a classroom containing several different animal pupils. You then have to answer 'What comes next?' type questions. These usually have skill related items which are in the same skill, and you have to choose which item comes nex in the pattern. These questions are like the ones that you get when opening the chest at Barrows. There is also another type of question you can get, but I only got the above question. You have to answer three questions like this and then you are told to go out of one of four doors around the classroom. I don't know what happens if you go out of the wrong door, but it is advised that you go out of the correct door to ensure you get a prize. Once you have completed this random event correctly, you receive a 'Book of Knowledge' which works exactly like a genie lamp. You choose a skill to advance and confirm, it then gives you 15 times your level [in that skill] in bonus xp. In my example, I had 60 herblore and used my lamp to boost that, I gained 900xp.

  11. I was scared to leave tutorial island because i thought people would kill me as soon as the mage teleported me. When i plucked up the confidence i arrived in lumbridge and thought i saw a hot dog vendor, but it was just the way a man look like he was behind a wall, in other words, a graphical glitch. I saw lots of people who were the same lvl as me and much higher too, so i believed that Lumbridge was THE major place to be. Little did i know of the massive world beyond my vision. I dont think i ventured very far out of lumbridge for the first few days, i thought that going west was going to be dangerous...! Ah, those good old days, eh. Another small thing, i thought the toll gate was a members only gate till around lvl 25 when i did shield of arrav!
  12. Again, I voted excellent because of the layout and style of Tip.It. However, the poll does not seem to appear on my computer either (on the main page). If, on the other hand, I go to certain Skill Planners (ie. Ancient Magicks or Hunter) I am able to see and vote in the poll. I find this vaguely annoying but i don't really mind. It's just something that could be fixed. BTW - This has happened for several months now, I'm not sure whether it's a setting on my web browser or just a fault with the page.
  13. -|- You have to click 28 times to string 14 bows. -|- Items appear/respawn seemingly out of nowhere onto a table or the ground. (ie. the cabbage and other items in lumbridge cellar). -|- An enchanted onyx ring can be used to transform your player into an un-minable rock...
