  1. i get the feeling that i'm in quite a minority here, but i really welcomed the lowering of the firemaking requirements. instead of yet another quest i'm unlikely to ever play, A Firemaker's Curse is only a few FM levels out of my reach. i'm not a grinder by habit, so it'll still take me a few weeks [or more] to get there, but at the rate i level up, i won't be getting any level 90s for a few more years... i mean, i've been playing since 2005 and my firemaking level is still in the low seventies. and i, too, miss the 'did you know?' segment! those were fun!
  2. you know you play runescape too much when you begin imagining you are playing it while working. ''then i hit him for twelve, then i eat another shark, then i kill him with my power attack [that'll have recharged by now] then i pick up the whip, go to varrock, and sell it!'' someone names a place in runescape, and you can tell them the highest level monsters, the best thieving/fishing/mining/woodcutting spots, the closest banks, and what music plays there. you play Way too many treasure trails if... you can do all that from a set of co-ordnates.
  3. just in case you didn't know, there is a much easier way to get rune pouches. you go through the fairy ring (code ALR, i think) and you are in an area of the abyss with a) much fewer monsters B) all your prayer points c) no multicombat d) a fast exit much easier to fight all those monsters, and the exit is close to a bank and a range!
  4. how many pigmys does it take to change a light bulb? at least three. how many lawyers does it take to screw in a light bulb? "how many can you afford?" how many impressionallists does it take to screw in a light bulb? 2. one to hold the purple girrafe, and one to fill the bathtup with brightly coloured machine tools. how many mice does it take to screw in a light bulb? only 2. the trick is gettin them in there! how many gorillas does it take to change a light bulb? only one, but it takes a crapload of bulbs! how many marines does it take to change a light bulb? 51. one to change it, and 50 to gaurd the intelectual. Oh, and several tanks, and $50m in loose change, to build a bunker.
  5. you know you have played runescape too much when, instead of listening to an ipod, you hum the entire set of songs from runescape. in alphabetical order.
  6. well, some people think that you are trying to get others to drop stuff, so that you can pick it all up/tk grab it.
  7. you know you've been playing runescape too much when you wander outside, admiring the graphical improvements. you know you've been playing runescape too much when you begin to wonder if runescape is the real world, and you are not simply dreaming all this "earth" mumbo jumbo. you know you've been playing runescape too much when you refuse to co rock climbing, claiming that "my agility level isnt high enough lol!" you know you've been playing runescape too much when you refer to the bible [or other religious text] as "the holy book of saradomin". you are amazed by how long the books are in real life. You blatantly refuse to sit down outside of your house. You have a little plastic button with "report abuse," and you click it whenever somebody swears. you know the name, funtcion, examine info, spawn points, and street, shop and specialist price of every item in the game, and can rattle them out, in alphabetical order, on command. you wonder why the dark wizards left stonehenge, and when delrith respawned.
  8. some extra information fro the fairy ring map. the abbys teleport does not skull youor drain your prayer,so it is good for fighting abbysal beings to get rune bags and other drops. but good food, weapons, armour and teleoprt runes are recomended, becausethe drops of bags are infrequent, at best. Also, in the enchanted vally, you are not attacked by an *army* of tree spirits. there is only one. if you want to fight tree spirits, for any reason, then it is usefull, because you will always get one tree spirit. Edit: moved from the miscellanious section.

  10. um... sorry to rain on your parade, but: kind of a shame really. i really liked the idea. oh well. :(
