  1. Tritous, I think you make the most valid point regarding bots!! Your first point about destroying the income of skills for honest players is exactly what I am concerned about because like many honest players that is how I make my money. Since the return of free trade and pking I have seen an enormous increase in bots. One person in a previous post said bots were good because they make the cost of supplies lower, but what about the person that is making their gp by selling raw materials like the yews that you mentioned? I totally agree with you!! Thank you for your common sense comment. I hope Jagex will listen.
  2. I agree with you on article #2 . I love playing RS and have been playing four years. I became a member after 2 weeks of free play. I talk to my friends, but I do most of my activities on my own. Not everyone plays just to kill a boss or to be in a clan. Playing RS is a way I like to relax instead of watching TV, etc. If Jagex started making the quests where I had to depend on another person to complete it then I would have no sense of individual accomplishment. ATM you have a choice to do things as a group or as an individual. That to me is the best of both worlds. They offer mini games that are group ways of training skills such as the Blast Furnace, Stealing Creation, Barbarian Assault, and Trouble Brewing. To counter balance those they have mini games that can be done as an individual such as Beacon Network, Jade Vine, Phoenix Lair, and more. If Jagex starts making the majority of their updates to cater to only those who think we must do things in groups and that "single players should be less effective than their cooperating counterparts" isn't that like saying unless we play as a group we are not as important. People who would rather not do the group thing work just as hard to achieve their levels and accomplishments and are just as important to this game as those who play in groups. I want to add that I am not so great at combat skills ... I get nervous, don't always make a good decision, have slower reflexes than alot of people so I like the fact that people who are good at combat skills can get armour/weapon drops and they are tradable which allows me to buy them. I use other skills not combat skills to earn my cash. Players that use their combat skills to make cash by selling good armour/weapons drops they get are glad probably very glad those items are tradable.

  4. RE: Runescape Dinosaur I agree with the majority of this article. It seems like these days there is so much offered to Clans and groups that players who like to just play the game and not be involved with the clan or group thing do not have many updates geared toward them. I am a loner because I like to work on skills and whatever I am doing on my time frame and not someone else's. I am not unsociable and I do talk to people who are around where ever I happen to be. I know there are a lot of players who do enjoy the group/clan stuff, but I also think there are quite a few players that play the way I do. It is because I can play RS my own way that I enjoy it so much. There have been some good updates for those of us who play alone like the diaries. It just seems like lately that the majority of updates have been geared to clan/groups. I know many of you do not agree with me, but I will say this if I wanted something like WOW then that is what I would be playing.
  5. Totally agree with the article on herblore. I do not do PVP so the first article is not something for me to comment on except I did wonder what EP farming was  I also think the new herblore update was good for lower lvl players that get herb drops and are trying to make money selling them. Just my thoughts... not asking anyone to agree or disagee with me.
  6. Please add me. This is a great. Just wondering where I am on the list. Runescape name: Mistress Glo P2P
  7. This was a very interesting interview. I admire all that he has done in the F2P world. A very refreshing and honest interview with a person that has a down to earth, not all about me, personality. Kudos on coming through with an excellent interview. :)
  8. =D> kudos for saying that we still need to report autoers. I see them so much now i feel as if rs has been taken over by them. In fact it has made me consider quitting rs. I tried reporting a group of autoers that were cutting yews by the farming patch at fally and after i reported two of them i got a message from jagex saying not to abuse the reporting system. :wall: That made me mad because the autoers are taking over everything from tree cutting to picking flax and mining essence. I hope Jagex makes more changes quick. This should not be allowed to continue. :shame:
  9. Next time you get trolls you might want to go to the cave that leads to the entrance to keldagrim . There are trolls in this cave and it is good for training. No thrower trolls here \
  10. =D> Thank you for covering the subject of balance regarding skills. I have been thinking of trying to go for 99 on at least one of my skills but find i too am happier when i work on all skills. I think this was a very interesting article.
