  1. is currently training Summoning

  2. A few years ago, I was walking toward the saw mill when a player just a few levels below me asking me for 5k gp. When I told him no, he said that he was going to follow me around until I gave it to him. So, I started heading north into the Wild (the old PKing Wild, with no ditch). Just when I got to a level that I could kill him at, he ran off...the noob. lol
  3. The drill example violates this portion of the rules (quoted above). But the purpose is not to prevent logging out. The purpose is to prevent you from clicking too much. Thats like saying that it's ok to kill a person with a hunting rifle since the purpose of the hunting rifle is to hunt animals and not humans. It doesn't matter what the intended purpose is. What matters is what happens. If Jagex has a rule about not circumventing their auto-logout mechanism for inactive players (e.g., players that aren't personally interacting with the game, and instead are sitting there while a machine does the work for them, and is NOT interacting with the game), then doing something that unintentionally violates that rules is STILL a rule violation.
  4. To me, it seems that you either want multi-way combat areas to be treated as single-way combat areas not allowing clans to steal your kill, or reward these kill stealing clans with their own areas... Treating multi-way as single-way areas: Why even bother with multi-way areas then anyway? The purpose of multi-way areas, as you already know, is so that multiple people can fight a single (or group of) monster(s), regardless of whether theyre strangers or not. The way that I see it, you have two choices. Either call YOUR friends to compete for the monster spot (we have enough dumbing down of RS already, with the old wild gone), or choose a single-way area to fight your monster, or pick a different monster (you can get a different slayer task, if thats the problem). Rewarding kill stealing clans with their own areas: I have a problem with this for several reasons. 1. That gives an unfair training advantage to clans. 2. It rewards dishonorable behavior, and I have a MAJOR problem with that. 3. What would constitute a clan? Two guys in a CC? Please. The bottom line is that in RS, you need to compete. Even skillers have to do that, competing for resources and their respawn spots. Merchants complete on the GE. RS is all about competing. If what youre doing isnt working, find a better strategy and get out there and compete. :)
  5. The drill example violates this portion of the rules (quoted above).
  6. Congratz on the F2P max, and good luck on your 50m str goal. :)
  7. I trained mage from 94-99 at the Alchamist Playground at the Mage Training Arena (by Dueling Arena). The bonus XP was awesome. :)
  8. For your next goal I'd recomend your first option ( 99 Attack, 99 Strength and 75 Defence), but with higher def, closer to 85 if not full on 99. :)
  9. Congratz! 2300 ttl is awesome! :) Where were you mining in that screenshot? For some reason, I don't recognize it.
  10. It depends on what I'm doing and who I'm fighting. If it's a safe mini-game (e.g., soul wars, castle wars, clan wars, etc.), I can afford to die. In those cases, you'll get a lot of meleers, so magic works well against them. I'll hybrid mage/melee until pure mage comes along, and I'll switch to range. Tip: Even though Void gear has low-ish def bonuses, it makes switching combat styles faster with less gear to switch (e.g. helmet and weapon/staff (optional)/bow).
  11. I recomend Soul Wars, if you get into a good SW clan. The xp rewards are better than PC. Edit: Take burst runes, go the SW obby on a busy world and blast away at the large number of enemies. Good times. :)
  12. For str training, d scim is the way to go. The rep rate is that of the whip, which makes up for it's "slightly" less str bonus compared to the d long.
  13. I bought my whip about 2 years ago, and it's still my main weapon (never lost it). My favorite thing about it is it's fast rep rate with a high str bonus. Good times. With potting over 99, it does a lot of damage in a short period of time. :)
  14. There's full Melee Void, but the def bonuses are a little less than rune.
  15. Personally, I like the Rants forum. Oh, I never bother to go there. It conveniently isolates a good amount of the idiotic posts into on easily ignorable section, instead of the ones that I do read. \
