  1. Are you exctatic about the next PVP update in Runescape? MANCO PER LA CAPA --- NO Do you think your firend will like it? MANCO PER LA CAPA - If they think it they are not my friends I would like to start a new clan for the new update CATTE UNA BICI CHE FAI MEGLIO Buy a bycicle and fo withj your frined to eat a pizza.. they will like it more. P.S. Qui si scrive in inglese. Italians sing, too much wine and much noise. P.P.S. The translation in not litteral :P But quite adeguate.
  2. Lets imagine 100.000 out of 1 million voted it. 80.000 against pvp, 20.000 pro. If all the player would have voted it would have been 800.000 against 200.000, always 80%. A poll gives you an idea, but go close to it. As generally a skiller do not need a main and a group of pures, I would agree with you that probabily the % of people who likes PVP is even less. But, to be kind, i will allow you to belive that 200.000 people will be happy for the update and 800.000 will be mad. Maybe the skillers will get and advantage from this update, but (as you said) is more likely that iran wil use his new atomic missiles to blow up a meteorite coming to destroy all the life on earth. History generally helps better then fiction to understand our present. In the 6 years where skillers and pkers lived separaded by a ditch little of good come from pkers, just thousand of problems. Nor there is any sign that pkers have "learnt the lesson" and will behave better in the future. Maybe i need to think more realistically. I wil not be the one to tell you that santa claus do not exist and the Good Pker, defender of the weak, Protector of the humble never visited Runescape.
  3. There is a wonderful utility in runescape homepage that is called POLL. From there you will see that in a specific poll 80% of players DO NOT LIKE PVP. With the removal of wild not only the 20% of players who liked it DID not quit as promised, but runescape players are a lot more. How many whining of that 20% has been fulfilled? How many problems of the rushed update have been fixed for the other 80%?
  4. The bots are pretty useless in the current system. They do still exist and jagex changed his mind on the idea of remove or reduce the randoms. In the next one will not be so rare. According to the idea of the thread creator each duel the pker will loose food/potions and the killed "real" runescape items like the armor will wear. The winner wil get some a "rich" drop, maybe that nice, useless, untradable stat boostig gears we have seen in fog. With the introduction of GE and the removal of bots every resource has rised in value of about 20%, and there is lesser competition to gather it. Why do you think that a shark, for example, will increase further? Now is about 1k.. They were 800gp each an year before GE, and was often possible to get them for less.
  5. We do have an idea, what the 'victim' drops isn't going to be what the PKer receives, it's going to be a drop based on the impressiveness of the kill. So they won't go around getting inventories of yews just because they killed someone who did. Pkers were not there often to kill for the drops, just because they enjoied to cause havoc. Thousands have been killed on the way to the abyss for a glory. And then waited to kill him again if he tryes to collect the untradable items leftr on the ground. Thousand of clue scrollers were killed on their way for a spade. Thousands of people were massacrated from rangers waiting near the agility arena. Not even the agility level to enter to collect the little food the skiller was wearing. Why do you think the furure wil be different?
  6. I think this tread would have to change the title to "PK Anywhere: A Skiller's NIGHTMARE Come True". All the problems of runescape comed out from that little area known as "wild". In a single update Jagex kicked away bots, rule-breakers, scammers, lures, and others trouble-makers. An update that, according to Andrew, could have been done with a couple of lines of code. An update that was not made to solve the problems, but due to a bank jussue. Rwters running in help of players with a huge need of money were using stolen credit cards. Refunds were costing Jagex too much. This conferms the teory that all runescape problems were happening with Jagex complicity. The update was surely hurried up, and most of the programming time was used to build a pkers playground replacement, the Bouthy Hunter. Was clear, even from beginning, that leaving player to collect the drop of another was a nice place where to transfer money. Even "clean" player used it to bypass the trade limits to share a good drop. Some even confessing it candidly in forums. Everything happening under the closed eyes of jagex "monitoring every death in BH" as not even a single little blackmark was applied to those people in eight months. On normal markets the junk trade system allows merchant to fluorish again, now happy also with the new "renting" system (Jagex: that is not really what we wanted to add to the game.. well... ops"). Now the new future PvP. Whole worlds dedicated to Pking. I have been reading what Jagex promises, and what Pkers want. The only sure thing is that they will get ravenous. The second sure think is that there will be thousands of new ways to abuse of the system. And hey will do it scientifically. Is there out any skiller who really belive the new pking system will bring them some money? If Pkers will be able to make wealth there will be millions of bots all around to gave them the supplies they need at no or low cost. And with the market made global any good source of income that still exist will be destroyed. Skillers will have less world where to gather resources. And what worse they will not have updates. Without PvP there was an hope that the better axe will have a special more useful of a magic drain... Now Pkers will get as always all the best updates. The new PVP idea is a nightmare not a dream. Fight it till you can.
  7. no look at level 46 Abyssal parasite
  8. mith dragons drop 4 each kill - 100% drop looks
  9. Before the GE update, if you did not empty the coal and keep it at 50 level and mith at 85 you could not only make Xp but also good money. if the usual moron did not come to empty your world (thinking it is smart to buy a skill) you seldom need to swap worlds. In the rare case no coal/mith load arrives you could train some agility at the pedals. Skills were not made to be bought. Bat to be trained and gain from them.
  10. Really funny on how many people do not use the brain. If you really plan to become 99 just using hi alch, why use yew bows? With the drop in prices many items have fallen to their hi alch prices. Look at rune battleaxes, amulets, staffs.
  11. I add a new point. I am italian, and immagine i use a normal name that in Italy you can even see on the cartoons for the youngers... but that in english has a second meaning. It passes the censorship, i play for a couple of years, and after that i get banned???????? Must I spend some months on hard core sites to be sure that not even in serbo-croatian language my usual playing alias has no second meaning?
  12. Lets say that pures were simply abusing of a flaw in the combat calculator. When you at 80 met another level 80, he is supposed to have your same combat. A pure was far higher. Training a skill only should have given you some pro and contro. The problem was that was possible to minimize the contros too much. Now if all will stay like is supposed to be now, a pure will still be great in the bounty hunter minigame (as soon as it will be turned in a solo area fight, and clan/piling pking will be kicked off the arena). The bounty hunter low level/medium level area will be pures ground and will be possible to get high level ranks even if playing just there. As a matter of fact the impossibility/limitations of pouring money into the character menas that they will have to grown him by himself (AS IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE EVEN BEFORE). The characters who are now useless are those created to earn money quick, by any means, and then pour it in a main. Even a pure will now have to behave according rules of the game as is not expendable as before.
  13. Pking fun? if so why you needed to lure skillers in wild to have someone to kill safely? you can still have fun... but also to work as everyone else. more then 50% of players did not enter wild. And they were more happy then you. and now PARTY TIMEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sure there will not drop parties of pkers quitting.. anyone want to bet?
  14. Look at polls. The % of people who like piking is less then 20%. Still a great community, but often each pker has more then an account... a main, a few pures at least. Even admitting that everyone who pplays Pk will quit the numeber of people who join will superseed them in a month or 2. People who will join now will find a runescape without scammers, lures, merchants lobbies, hipertestoenoic idiots who will kill them if they just try to explore the wild, even if unarmed. No more account hackers, beggars, and all what has made runescape a unpleasent place to play. Everyone will have to build up his own fortune. It will not be possible anymore to pour millions in a character and buy the skills up. Will pass from camelot without seeing a group of morons teleporting to the sape place speaking all the time of how much money they will gain from teleblock, if not autoing. I am sad for stakers, as they did not deserve this. But every pker at least one time killed someone doing a cleu scroll or running to the abyss. "they deserved it.. not enter the wild if you not want me to kill you safely". Made people hate the wild and now they cry. GOOD JOB JAGEX!!!!
