The tale of the summary (fuller story later)

The day based at the beginning of everything with the first god, oh the might but also absent one himself zaros, first awoke basically the same as guthix is today. The great one discovering that nothing else existed made it his quest to build a utopia where, everyone was balanced like him. The first thing he must do would be to create a bare landscape on which he could cave a likeness of himself, this was the first mistake of many as something that is most perfect is also the most flawed, being his power was in its primitive state he was unable to create this plain the way he wanted. This first scape was not as we know it now it was not even as the primitive as when the first of our race or in fact any race trod upon the ground, it was only a few basic shapes spread over a kilometre in a symmetrical pattern, to indicate balance over this land. Although it was basic zaros did truly love this new found power.

The power spawned and increased to a near perfection but as I have said before this was flawed greatly in that, as the life of zaros continued it became more and more shown that he was alone in this world and would need a companion to help in his construction of this world. But what ever he tried it failed his power was not yet strong enough, he became frustrated until finally he cast his hand to destroy his utopian society that was so a perfect but lone world he could not stand it, and the bolts of light rained down upon the surface of the scape, tearing it to pieces. After the momentary joy of power he set back to reassemble this world, but discovered it to repair itself in only a few minutes. He soon realised what had happened the light had so enchanted the scape it was truly living in its own right.

After many attempts he finally came to the conclusion that apart from some sludge he could not create a true found shape from this effort and once again destroyed the scape, but he noticed that once it had repaired it now looked different, one of his pillars was to the left of it former place. Intrigued by this seemingly insignificant discovery he attacked the scape again and again. After many attempts focus on one area it started to change on its own could this be the beginnings of life.

The new scape was still primitive but now that it had its first ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹ÃâtreeÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ if you could call it that it grew and dropped smaller versions of itself on to the ground around it which grew into ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹ÃâtreesÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ but slightly different. Until now zaros had ignored the sludge but as he watched the tree the sludge, now looking like a jellyfish, grappling around the smaller ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹ÃâtreeÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ it the destroyed the tree and grew. Zaros horrified by this picked up the sludge only to see it begin to spilt down the middle to form a copy of itself. Zaros was taken aback, he poked and prodded the two ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹ÃâsludgersÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ as he called them back together until one of the seemed to jump across to another tree and spilt again, with zaros attention turned so did the other one.

Zaros created more and more until the first one stopped moving suddenly and the others began to eat it. Zaros had by now grown tied of watching grey jelly move about and eat grey blocks. Although some where faster it was no longer interesting watching them. The sludgers wanted the attention so they became more interesting by jumping upward at zaros and pulling each other up into a tower to touch him, all in vain. Zaros no longer cared about them he was expanding his own powers, and creating a second utopia with larger sludgers which then zaros fed the smaller sludgers, until he saw the sludger in his hand was no longer a jellyfish of grey it had legs and was a greenish colour. Zaros searched the first scape to find more like it he found over twenty different types.

With this new hope that sludgers where not doomed to be the same for ever he used his powers to expand the scape that they inhabited. This was getting interesting after many years the sludgers had evolved into many different species which where still worshipping the one god zaros. There came a problem though in all the splendour of the scape or as utopial as it was called there whereÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ differences and the odd crime happened. This was brought to affront when a Dijon like a genie of today which had evolved with a great power, when underground this was unheard of as there was no underground but the Dijon(there is no mistake itÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s a whole other scape) had near god like powers and created it. Soon others followed, the monks of zaros where the first to notice that something was wrong, when there temple mysteriously caught fire as did their homes at the same time, they prayed to zaros to do some about this but he was aware of this but the powers of the combined beings where stopping him intervening. The great city of Zanaris was the first to go engulfed in a force unknown to this day. Zaros was in a predicament anything he did was sent out and stopped by the power below the temple of zaros was slowly sinking into the underground, the monks where beginning to see the power that they where up against, the cities of Zarosen and Sludgern both converted to the underground but where torched by zaros himself.

Zaros could not win this battle unless he had help from all sides and so he did he went back to the larger sludgers which had to changed too a more powerful form, but had grown to again near god like powers with a different they where so detected from the world of the utopial that they did not think when they gave there powers to zaros, who then broke though the shield destroying the Dijon and ended the resistance(although Zanaris was never seen again and was excepted to not have been taken by the Dijon). But something now remained the monks knew that zaros did not have near enough power to do this alone, so they searched the ancient lore until they worked out what had happened they soon became worried that these new beings could take over. This was the biggest mistake that zaros ever made and probably ever will (though there still is a chanceÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ) when he returned to utopial he left the larger sludgers alone to rule, they soon became disenchanted and once again revolted can you guess who they were, no you cant these gods damaged utopial to near destruction and went after zaros but could not find zaros.

The new gods broke down with fights and so it was believed that they did not notice that fact that they where systematically being destroyed by zaros, until only three remained not powerful enough to destroy him or create more gods so he retired, to a cat form maybe youÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve seen him. while two of the other god locked in a battle for eternity the third became the master using what was left of utopial to create runescape but with the power like that expended needed to recharge and so slept for a millennia while zaros gently nudged runescape into forgetting him leavening only a temple in the underground in case he one day needed to returnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ

A tale of the beginning

Waking. It was the worst part of the morning it meant only to start another hard day of work. Of course this day would be a peaceful one he thought to himself. What could he do today that would let him get out of doing his work. He knew this was futile because, if he did nothing he would earn nothing and the next day the work would be waiting for him. Plus that of day before. What he wouldnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t give to just have them done for him, but still this was a dream anything could happenÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ till you wake up.

The moments before you remember anything about yourself, best part for our hero, nothing but to dream. But it is a lie he knew he would wake up any second. He willed himself not to, till he realised that he was doing something that meant he was awake. He only had one choice. He had to get up he was tired from all the work. He was angry at zaros for forcing him to awake. He shouted up at the ceiling, ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâlet me sleep, oh great god.ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ He knew the sarcasm would make him feel a little better and it did. He began to heave himself out of the bed he knew first he must get suited up for todayÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s work.

Lunch. The first meal our hero could have, he had sacrificed breakfast to sever an extra twenty minute sleep. He knew he would be paying for this later with the hunger rattling in his empty stomach. He only had one more task that morning, in fact it was the same task he had started that morning, he needed to get out of the forests that where north of civilization. He knew he should have stayed with his mates but he was having trouble walking. So he had stopped off at the house they had had the party at the night before. It had been so silent that morning you wouldnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t have guessed that only two hundred meters away was some of the most fearsome beasts around. Only the greatest of warriors would go here alone. The fire would be burning if he were at home, but for now he was running through a thick barrage of branches, dead branches. He was shoving the last of his food in his mouth. He knew the eggs where a bad idea, but they where just sitting there on an island. On an island surrounded by fire and lava. Yes. But bread just didnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t sound very filling. Where as eggs on toast did. Not thinking ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâhey they are big eggs, I wonder what laded them .Oh maybe it wasnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t a bird, I donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t know what it could be IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll leave it alone.ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ He had grabbed both of them and cooked them, luck for him they where fireproof, because he dropped one of them into the lava. It bobbed about a bit before the mother came. Oh it was horrible he had realised when he had dropped the egg. He had begun to run the eggs where safe he was not. The mother was just charging through the trees. He knew that if a fire bolt hit him he would not survive to see another day.

The pace had started to slow down by the time he reached the monk encampment. The monks had in fact seen him running, thinking he was going to attack they hid. But when they saw the huge beast chasing him they all ran to the temple, and began to call out to zaros, it was the only hope for the boyÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ and for them. With his backpack on fire, he felt light headed after all he was carrying a great amount of cloth, soaked in fat, so he could go swimming at the party. The cloth began to spit as the fat fed the fire. He stumbled over the boundaries of the camp with that he collapsed. Not seeing the searing heat wave approaching. The monks saw this, still praying that something would happen save the boy before it was too late. The heat wave was so strong even the monks could feel it as it made for the boy.

Zaros had in fact been watching the whole thing, he had know that the boy had cursed him that morning, and watched his bumbling antics as he had made for the one place he could be safe in the forest. He knew his monks out here had placed they lives in his hands. So he began to act, first he needed to calm the huge diatrant (di-a-rant) so he simple pulled a large blue screen in front of it. Then to the impending destruction, caused by the fire bolt, he began to summon icentran (eye-sent-tran) the ice master, to block the fire with ice. The boy, the attention now turned to, he had enjoyed what this boy had got up to not many people would tangle with a huge diatrant, particularly one with children. Because that means sheÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll be real angry and there is a father to deal with afterward. He had to see this from the night before. What should he do now? Then it hit him.

After recovering from a jester hitting him after being thrown out of zarea (za-re-a), the city to the north of the cosmic temple at Zanaris (za-na-rise). He sent the boy back to his home town, zanto (san-toe) where his mother was worried sick to death about him. But when he told her of his appointment of high jester to the high lord zaros, and after recovering from the throttling that she gave him for lying, she was very proud of him for doing something with his life. He began to work hard and no longer feared waking in the morning to find a boring life that he just about scraped through on, he now had a job and a life that he enjoyed but best of all he had finally found a purpose in life.

Many years would pass and very soon he discovered he would not just be working for a living, he would be working to keep livingÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ

The tale of stone magic

If you have not been reading in to the story till now you will have no idea what is going on, so stop reading this tale and go back to the beginning or you can just guess.

When one has finished one adventure, one does not expect to embark on the next within an hour or so. Our hero, at this point at least, has just become the jester to the high god zaros. He was expecting to maybe rest a while, after all he had just fought a mother diatrant, and then had been throttled by his mother which was much worst. So maybe he would sleep for a while, but could he. No. He was almost immediately called into the courtroom and then was chased around by a huge spirint (spy-r-i-nt) which proceeded to fire globs of blue flame. While this was happening he was to dodge huge boulders of raw mithril. Until that stopped the spirint when a massive shard of ruby erupted out of one of the mithril balls, and impaled itself through the skull of the spirint. But was that it? No. The hole then began to spew millions of tiny spirints until the room was near full. When he remembered something his mother had said ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâspirints can only see things that are moving, then attack the biggest thing that they do seeÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ he had no idea when his mother had said that but he froze. He then watched the spirints eat each other. Now was his chance, he grabbed a handful of mithril and gems and showered them with it, mithril is tough so it would stick in the wounds and rub the skin away and gems would cut them up.

The session was over like that, and he began to hear applause to him, he was proud and was glowing bright red. Was that what they wanted him to do run these insane fights, he could do it and he would until he was strong enough, to fight head-on than he would show who was the boss. He begun to work-out, his muscles began to grow to huge billowing haystacks, he thought that at least then he came to and found a dent in his head where the door had hit him on the way in. He decided to forget the weight training, he turned to magic instead. He had just begun to get passed the basic elemental spells when. There was a huge drum roll he looked up towards the sky ,then realising he was above the sky he looked down, he could see that he was late for the next session fighting. He knew he could not make it, he was on the other side of the castle and at the top of one of the citadels. When his eye flashed over a spell, it was faded and near the bottom of the page, ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâendyen tewntÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ he knew that it meant ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâteleport to arenaÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢, but it looked hard could he do it. He collected the runes from the shelf and began to chant the spell when suddenly and he force took hold he was being wrenched out of the room by a rope of some kind. He eyes where streaming but he could make out the arena in front of him. He ran in and began to tug on his heavy armour, and set out for the ring.

After he had perfected the spell by weaving in a sticking spell he was able to direct where in the arena he would appear. He began to learn, from a very battered book how to make spells stronger and hit more often, but he could not find what he needed, it was an icentranal (eye-sent-tran-al) stone, he had looked high and low for it but still was unable to find such a thing. He once asked a servant what it was but he told him to ask zaros as he knew where they where kept, but did he dare ask such a thing, what if it was powerful what if he took it the wrong way? He waited and practised all the spells he could find until he began to weave his own. He had got the smithy to make him the jewellery and then he had enchanted it, he had opened the doors of magic. He was always making his spells more powerful, the most powerful yet ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâthe eye of zarosÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ was his next spell but he hit a problem nothing he had could channel all that raw power. The staff of zaros had shatter, the amulet of glory had imploded, the ring of light had become dark and his diatrant armour had caught fire. He was about to give up and blow half the tower away at the same time, when he remembered the icentranal stone headband. He woke early the next morning and asked zaros for an icentranal stone, at first zaros would not allow it, but decided to let him have it on the condition it was only used for the eye of zaros.

The spell not only worked it blew away the myanthian (my-ant-thin-al) he was fighting. It also made a huge chasm in the centre of the arena. There was no applause this time they where silent. The beast he had slew would not be returning anytime soon. He immediately gave the stone back to zaros , although it was now encrusted in to a head band of runite it was ripped out by zaros as if it where nothing. Only then did he realise why zaros had ripped it out. It was smoking, but it was ice and suddenly it exploded in his hand, he didnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t even wince. Zaros was a god after all then I noticed that the stone was still intact. Then zaros gave the stone back to him encrusted in the runite headband. He began to leave when, zaros spoke ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâdo you think that is the only oneÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢. He left with the stone and went back to study magic, he knew that if there where more they could be used against him. A defensive spell is what he needed something to protect from the eye of zaros. When he remembered back to when he was in the forest about three months ago running for his life, the monkÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s prayers where weaker than normal maybe he could find a way to use that against them.

After weeks of hard work and testing he had it a teleport shield, when the spell hit the shield it would be taken through the forest weakening it then it would hit a second shield inside the first, which would protect him. It was perfect excepted for he could not use the stone at the same time for two spells, maybe for some of the weaker ones but this was two of the most powerful spells ever created. The only one that was more powerful was the ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâtrenes o dewdt a trewniÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ spell which roughly means ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâ creation of life and only zaros could cast something like that. So he trudged to zaros where he asked for a second stone, this time zaros would not allow it even knowing the benefits. To get away for awhile he asked zaros if he could go home to see his mother as he was missing her greatly. Zaros let him go so that he would be able to talk to his mother about what had been happening while he was away.

The tale of what happened next

When her son had left she needed to feel like living again, so she when out on a girls night and got completely drunk and ended up sleeping in a pigs food trough that night. When she woke up she began to worry about her son after all he was only sixteen and he was hardly experienced. She wished his father could have talked to him, but he was away at a smithy convention. When he got back he had wanted to know all about why his only son had left home. He was upset, to say the least that he had not been there when his son had left. Then about two months later, zaros had spoke to him, zaros told him that his son was one of the most cunning and quick-thinking people in the land. The mother had wept her eyes out that night, and the father wanted to see his son fighting. The mother could not go she wanted to but could not as she had caught a nasty cough off the clerk at the bank.

When the father final got to the arena, the fight was against a huge myanthian, which began to look bad for the father ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâhow anyone could beat something like that is beyond me ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢. He sat next to a young couple who, while the boyfriend had gone for more drinks, talk to the father and explained that the boy was a ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâvery very powerful spell casterÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢. The father thought this strange because he had never really shown much interest in magic or for that matter anything. How could it be in just two and a half months his son the layabout, could be a powerful sorcerer. When the fight started he ducked and swerved almost perfectly, he didnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t get hit at all. ThatÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s when he saw it the headband he had on was glowing ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâwhat a cheaterÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ he thought to himself. The actual fact was he was charging the headband for a spell. The fight raged on for nearly an hour the stone was near blinding now, he doubted anyone could miss it. When suddenly a huge force seemed to erupt from the headband, it struck the myanthian in the upper torso, there was a hugeÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ there was no air around. The whole arena seemed to rise up out of the ground and then. He closed his eyes, he tried to open them but they wouldnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t open. There arena dropped back down and he was able to open his eyes again, there was only a crater where the beast had been only a few seconds ago. He rushed out of the stands.

He got back home as soon as he could he needed to tell his wife what had happened that day. She was speechless that something like that could happen, her son a master sorcerer, she was proud and worried at the same time. There was only a short time for the homecoming of husband, he need to be back at work as did she. They where running out of food when he got back, but now they had nothing in the at all. She would need to go to market today, but it would have closed by the time she got there so she when to the harbour she was a good fisherwoman, she could easy catch enough to feed them for a week in an hour. But you needed to pay the harbour master for any fish that you caught, before hand so she only paid for that night, as there where no refunds.

Then just as things where setting down, zaros appeared in front of the father and told him to leave the town quickly as his son was coming back. He couldnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t understand why he needed to leave, he wanted to see his son so he stayed. The son arrived soon after zaros had appeared and as zaros had predicted the father was called away to fight in a huge battle calledÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ

The tale of bridgeington

Bridgeington was a small village on the outskirts of civilisation. It was the one place that was allowed to follow anything outside of the Zarosen culture, and still be safe from other creatures. The battle of Bridgeington was going to happen sooner or later but the only that stood in the way was zaros, but with him now embroiled in a war with the Dijon breakaway faction, the invasion was inevitable, there was no way to prevent it. First the small joke by one of the children of dressing like zaros and running into the next city over and shouting ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâobey me IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m your leaderÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ soon be came a war when the boy was found dead, and the villagers began to fight amongst themselves, this became more and more noticeable such as killing one of the farmerÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s pigs to killing the farmer and burning down his farm and house. Then finally it became an all out street war the villagers converged on one and other. When out of the mist came a huge army of beasts, the villagers broke up and where slaughtered, the neighbouring villages saw this and banded together to fight them if they had too. Which happened very quickly and the unprepared villagers where unable to fight of the huge lumbering fiends, they fled toward the cities around.

The king of Zanaris decided to act and sent out this decree

I king of Zanaris here by decrees that all able man should report to my castle

as soon as possible. This decree is in affect as of the moment you read this.

King Zanto zarian

Zanto zarian

Although shortly afterward the city was engulfed by forces unknown the law was in affect and the army was created, and began to march on Bridgeington, at first light, five days later. The fight was bloody and the losses where many but the creatures where pushed back into the forests, or so it was told. The truth was much more disturbing, after the decree was sent out an army was made from the villagers and they where given weapons, while the lords and leaders where hiding. The only reason the army succeed was one of the men stumbled into a passage way that lead into a huge armoury filled with swords and shields of every kind and texture, the armour was mainly lost to the ages or stolen by creatures of the unknown. While this was happening the sorcerer help hold the beasts back.

Then with a huge explosion the beasts came flying over the hills in to the hidden army and the fight became an all out massacre only a few of the soldiers came limping back. Both sides where broken, they both would have to unleash their secret weapons. The flaming wreckage could be seen from miles away, the city of zaythian (zay-thin-an) was destroyed by the spirint of fire had seen the entire city off. While our hero, used the eye of zaros to destroy what was left of the beast army and they where forced to retreat back to the forest. Then came the clear up, it was the largest clean up ever attempted and it was not completed by the time of reckoning came some years later, mean while with the back bone of the kingdom gone and the great city of Zanaris gone there was no chance of any safe victory in another fight

The tale of revenge

The rains of fury where pouring down now on the cities that remained loyal to zaros, where as any city that did not was destroyed instantly by the zaros. Of course you could do the third option and say no one was your leader, though it meant there was no hope because you would be attacked by everyone and everything. It was not safe to be alive the only thing which was now holding the armies on a cease fire was a teleportation shield around each city.

But even that was now threatening to collapse around them, the beatings they where taking where not normal. The spell was designed for a dual or a battle at the most not as a siege defence. The already small supply of runes was cut further when the keeper of the runes was killed and the city overthrown, and then destroyed. The ancient temples used to bind rune essence were sealed but that would not hold out forever. Just long enough to mount a counter attack from the grand hall. The counter attack would use a new spell called ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâthe sight of zarosÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ would allow them to see where their enemies were and then attack there in force.

By now you will be wondering what happened to the father and son? Well the father was slain on the battle field, and the son survived and was now fighting for his life against a band of renegades at the gates of zaros. The only thing holding them at a bottleneck was the gates the rest was solid runite covered in spell after protection and trap spells. The walls would withstand anything but the gate would not it would crumble under an attack of any force big or small. He knew because the forces where trying to get in thought that gate and no where else. The armour he had taken from the armoury was glistening with fresh blood of his enemies. He near destroyed the entire group when his shield began to flare and then it shattered, an ice beast was running for him and there was no time to attack. He jumped and swung on to its back where he hung on while it tried to get to the gates, he thrust a sword up it to the beast it veered of to the left before collapsing.

Now there was only one creature remaining it was a mother diatrant that he had met before and this time it would be to the death, its death. Zaros had the other being awake and helping just in time as the Dijon forces where breaking through the defences. The shield surrounding the underground lair was blown away and the Dijon inside was pulled out and forced to die a million deaths. While this victory took place the diatrant was blasting flames towards the boy. He was holding out the best he could when there was a scream of pain as the axe he had enchanted slammed into the back of diatrant, he took his chance he drove his diamond edged halberd in to the legs of it. She stumbled as if she had been struck by lighting, she began to topple over snorting out a fog of flames. Then with a whoosh the flames began to spread over the land around him.

The tale of the reckoning

And so the war was over and life was going to be normal (what is normal anyway) and time would heal all wounds (time is relative) and the life would once again return to being a quest to better themselves (may be open to interpretation). But the point is life would run smoothly again(what isÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ shut up). And back to the story so life did not change much for a few years, it was pretty standard life really ,nothing new popping out of the blue. Nothing much changed around the scape, except for the clean up which was continuing right up till the end.

But not everyone was happy, some of the being which had helped in the war, wanted medals and all the other stuff you get when you do some work. They where not happy with the way zaros treated them, they didnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t want to be left alone. So they began to revolt against zaros they began to use the powers, which they had learnt through the ages. Zaros now had no backup plan, he had no chance at defeating them all. And there was nothing he could get from the scape, except the boy he would have to do. He had near god like powers.

So this duo of fighters began to defend from the invaders, but the boy began to turn evil. He was not as careful as he was before, he began to risk his life for thrills. Life was a game to him, he had a chance to live or die but it didnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t matter to him there was no limit to his powers. Zaros knew that the chances of winning where very low indeed. So he ask the being guthix for help and an alliance was struck to defend the scape from attack. With that guthix went to sleep for a few millennia while the scape sorted itself out. Zaros hid only coming out to destroy the odd straggler in the flock till there was only one left, he had chose a name for himself Saradomin and he began to preach to what was left of the scape about goodness and other holy things.

(In case you where wondering the others where sent to limbo not death see the story makes sense, unlike the zaros is evil because the gods donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t like/talk about him, I mean would you go around telling people ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹ÃâIÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m a traitor and a fake godÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢, ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹ÃâIÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m really a fake godÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ or ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹ÃâIÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m really a big fake godÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ . Also I would like to call them demi-gods because they are not true gods)

While the boy had become even more evil and had grown in his power so much he too was immortal but he became evil and began to preach about evilness and took control of the forest which he renamed the wilderness because it sounded more evil. Next guthix awoke about three thousand years (give or take a century) and began to bring some sort of order in as at this point it was a never ceasing battle between Saradomin and the boy who had chosen a name for himself as wellÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ Zamorak.

Oh God my eyes...

Too many grammatical errors for me to keep reading past the first paragraph :?

IF you actually read the God Letters and the history of RuneScape, Zaros did not come first. Why would a God of Destruction want to create balance? In fact, a God of Destruction cannot create.

can u point out to me at what point it is said (in the runescape history, not the gods letters or fan mail) that zaros is god of evil/Destruction.

there is no evidence other than a few rambling statements by the other 'gods'. it is assumed that he is evil as none of the others what to talk about him.

my grammer is terrible i know, it not likely to get better.

I can't point out where they are. But if you've done the Desert Treasure quest, It's pretty obvious from just the way Azzanadra LOOKS that Zaros was Evil. Zamroak was immensely fearful of him for sure. The teleports for Ancient Magicks also lead to dark places. The Digsite, Edgeville, Canafis, Ice mountain(Black Knight's fortress), and into the wilderness.

ummm there is not a lot i can bring up as i havent done that quest but there are many followers of zaros and begin the passive god he doesnt have a set way of following him.

zamrock is spelt like this not zamroak and he is right to be fearful of zaros, he knows he isnt a true god and that zaros will kill him when he returns. so he gets as much anti-zaros rumors out as possible to stop anyone from following him.

the ancient magicks where discovered a long time before the forming of:

black knights

the wilderness(also called the forest)

then the others that were discovered:

The Digsite- zaros temple

Edgeville- was used in the fight against the forest beasts (bridgeington)

Canafis- was un-used in the zarosen times so i must assume it was placed there later

my grammer is terrible i know, it not likely to get better.

to make it a point:

this is a forum not the number 1 publishing application the grammer and spelling does not have to be that good, as long as it is readable.

i am not archmage a, i am however (rather shockingly) archimage a. this is spelled out at the top of my post and therefore in plane sight. the rules and regulations of grammer are not however displayed so if u want to write me the entire grammer rules and regulations go ahead and i will try to follow them.

agreed

umm just 2 things

a i dont care

and

b i dont care

i know that this is only one reason but i thought it was so important it needed to be said twice.

The fact that Zaros was, and is, evil, is proven in the new mini-quest started by wearing the Ring of Visibility from the Desert Treasure Quest, and a Ghostspeak Amulet, and going to Gladriel's Tomb. At the end of this mini-quest, Zamorak's Right-hand man during the Zamorak Rebellion before the God Wars, tells you the story of how Zamorak became a God, and proves Zaros is evil at the end of his story. Zamorak started a secret Rebellion against the Majharrat tribe's god/lord, the Empty Lord, and after a human stole the Staff of Armadyl, it eventually came into possession of Zamorak, where a Saradominist Mage decided to cast a spell on it to hide it's magical, god-weapon powers. Zamorak took the staff, and with his Rebellion of Majharrat and Demons and a few Mortals, led a campaign to defeat the Empty Lord, and upon entering His castle, Zamorak's army struck against their Lord's forces, erupting in a fierce battle. Eventually, Zamorak and two of his soldiers got through to the Empty Lord, and the two soldiers got killed, and Zamorak was forced into a one-on-one battle with the Empty Lord after stabbing him through the back with the Staff of Armadyl. The Empty Lord and Zamorak fought, and eventually, Zamorak struck down the Empty Lord. As the Lord slowly faded, so did the teller of this tale, and several others who helped get the Staff of Armadyl to Zamorak, wheter knowing they would or not. After this, your Character asks, "who is the Empty Lord?" and the teller simply responds, "You have not figured it out yet? You don't know who the true god of the Majharrat is?" in which your character responds "No..." And of course, the story teller says one word, "Zaros."

Also, throughout multiple quests, their is many reasons to prove Zaros is evil, also as Jagex, in one of my letters to them, said "Zaros, the God of Pure Evil. One day an ancient evil beyond which we can comprehend will be released upon the land of Gelienor, and terrible things will come." If Jagex says he is Evil, is he not?

Owned.

Also, I'd like to point out an inconsistency where Zamorak is labelled as an evil god when he is specifically made out to be a god of chaos.

Chaos /= evil.

archimage, Shott here has made a far better argument than you ever have. I guess it's not saying much, since you never actually posted canon proof.

first of all why in the world does everyon have to be so harsh.

secondly I dont think that a story can only be jugded on gramatical mistakes (though they do make it harder to read)

and once again the story is so strange that I'm not going to comment on how the plot was.

bth I think that the desert quest where you fix the golem (forgot the name) has some info on zaros.

Pm me if you need anything proof-read, I may not be very good, but I am always willing to help.

I have a few simple things to say:

1 I really dont care what the quests say as they could have been made to show zaros in an evil light.

2 There is no concrete proof that aros is remotely connected to anything but the digsite quest.

3 As a counter-measure I will inform you that the new 'evil bob' random event shows that bob is good as he is from this reality and evil bob is from the other. This can be shown as runescape becomes scaperune, mean it is the other way round, showing good as bad and bad as god.

Note: It is fairly certain that zaros is bob but is not 100%, meaning that this ould mean nothing. If so ignore 3.

4 Can someone PLEASE explain to me, because i must not know, what the truth and law is.

My understanding is:

Truth-an intepretation of the supplied evidence and a conclusion of the resulting infomation in a way to encompas all sides of an argument

Law- innocent untill showto be guilty

Both of these show that zaros, having no proof other than a tally, is there for interpreted to have god abilitys, and that is it. Therefor there is no evidence showing he is evil. There for showing that no one can say he is evil 100%.

In case your thick i did my reseach into the law and truth. Anyone want to argue outside of unproven infomation of a few old nuts in a pyramid, i await your answers.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Ya know, last time I checked, Jagex saying that Zaros is evil is a pretty good indication and some pretty good evidence that points to the fact that Zaros is evil.

ok, here we go, to reply to your agruments

1) Why would Zaros appear to be evil in, what I believe to be, 3 quests if he was not evil? You think Jagex is trying to trick us?

2) I don't know who aros is but Zaros, like Silent_Scott said, he is proven evil in the Desert Treasure. Just because you haven't done the quest doesn't mean there is no concrete evidence in the quest, 'cause there is.

3) Dunno where you heard that story but it sounds stupid so I will ignore it. 'Cause you just said Bob is good and from our reality and BOB's, not Zaros', evil side is Evil Bob.

4) You must not understand. Jagex saying Zaros is evil and Zaros being evil in Quests = evidence of Zaros being evil. Law, hmm, didn't Scott just tell us the story of how he is the Empty Lord, Pure Evil and such. Innocent? I think not.

Ok u really missed the point havent u.

1) Jagex could make it so that everyone of the gods explode and it would be completely sane. No matter what they have put out there

2) Jagex has never said that zaros is evil

3) From the 'game as real' point of view(if u read the story). Dont u thing that the other gods may wish to make Zaros appear evil.

4) Its a story I made up (partly some is in the lore). I have no problem admiting that I am sad, I have no intrested in what jagex or anyone else for that matter says.

So plz get of the band wagon saying that

jagex has said zaros is evil (i no i read the whole lore behind it)

"Dunno where you heard that story but it sounds stupid so I will ignore it. 'Cause you just said Bob is good and from our reality and BOB's, not Zaros', evil side is Evil Bob." quoted. plz learn your facts

Its on the news page under "backstage in august"(or something like that)

and i said that zaros is most likely to be bob.

and if there was an evil bob from 'scaperune'

then it is a near definate that our bob is good

our bob is zaros(most likely)

there for zaros is good

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

just a thing for everyone to try before assuming bob is good. do the quest to get the catspeak amulet. put you kitten in your inventory and wear the amulet. find bob. talk to bob.

intresting stuff isn't it?

anyways quit flaming archmages post and archmage... unfortuanetly zaros is portrayed as evil so you might want to take that into account in future stories.

Pm me if you need anything proof-read, I may not be very good, but I am always willing to help.

I thank you for your time and infomation but as I have said:

Bob Is Not 100% Sure Of begin Zaros. Although its fairly certain its not proved, and knowing jagex will turn out to be something like another god or the leader of the cats... or possible the drunken dwarf (as Zaros) of the cat world.

And

I don't care if you think my storys are made up cos ummm I got news for you the game is made up they could say that Guthixs is Zaros taking a break. Belive me my story is more realistic than most others. To name a few:

Zaros the talking cat that isnt really a cat hes a tomato in disguise

Zaros isn't a god hes a dead corpse

Zaros is the brother of the other 3 and is in fact the father as well, but heres the strange bit there all born at the same time.

Zaros is really a bird with a megaphone

Why is Zaros so dangerous, he has a machine gun

Zaros is... and it goes on and one.

The only other one that seems acceptable is the one that says:

Zaros is the other god that is the same as all the others but the other way round Guthixs, meaning he thinks that every needs to be unbalanced so killed himself to annoy Guthixs.

And your other point I agree he is 'portrayed as evil' by the other gods and since no one has posted on the second story I see no reason to post the next one or the other 8 I have worked out so far.

Also please note I have done research and realisticly my ideas are more plausible than the stand

'hes evil cos no one will say anything except the desert quest which says hes evil beacause of his crazy follower. So please please do not refer to Zaros as being good cos that thing said he wasn't. And if I agree with you no one will think I'm cool any more.'

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

i would if not for the simple fact that no one could answer it.

Zaros is in hiding and so couldnt answer (and he has about a million messages already

The gods would lie if they where talking to us

The NPC followers of Zaros are loony or have deside that Zaros is evil beacuse they have been told that

Everyone else was not around at that time

So i dont know who to ask.

So i have come up with a fool proof way of telling people about Zaros:

I will need a massive shape of some kind in the desert.

Some robes that look like i have worn them for 2000000 years.

A tape play that plays that Macarana.

A dead rat.

Smoke powder.

Heres how it works I stand in a room with a load traps outside, in the massive shape. I wear my ropes that look like there 2000000 years old and then whenever some one comes in i turn the tape player on and sing the Macarana, while swing a dead rat around my head for a few hours. Then I say Zaros is good, then throw down some powder to make the make my escape and move in the slowest possible way (Danceing to the macarana and spinning a rat around my head) until the smoke clears at which point i have more 2 cm. At which point a run towards the door (still doing the macarana and spinning a rat around my head), when i get to the door the rat flys out of my hand whacks you on the head so you forget the whole event. Then you wake up and have somehow learnt the art of cooking with rats, which is lucky as you seem to have one on your head. And you also gain knowlage in some other skills such as herblore which had nothing to do with the expedition other than you need to go to a druid to have your head looked at afterward.

This is the man reason I dont believe you when you say Zaros is evil beacuse if you did this it wouldnt convince you in the slightest that Zaros was good.

But you believe something in a temple in the sand doing some ritual for no real reason but pick the very moment that you walked in to start the ritual, that tells you that Zaros is evil.

such diffrents bettween the two its so hard to see why there the same sort of thing.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

I am aware you are talking to me I was merely pointing out how stupid you sound when you are talking to me as if that quest showed something but when you read my ...ott summary of what it sounds like.

I also know that the macarana was not in the quest but it shows who stupid you all look, but face it nothing anyone can say means anything as if jagex was taken over and it was revaled that Zaros is really still in power and is using the other 3 as puppets on strings.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.
