Hi there, I have some combat-related questions: 1. I right now have T70 GWD armor, but I am wondering if the difference between T70 and T80 is a huge difference. I'm a bit sad that T80 armor degrades, but of course, I'd make more profit over that degrade time. However, for the purposes of slayer/some bossing (I don't boss that much), would it instead be better to forgo T80 armor and jump straight to T85 tank PoP armor? (What is T85 PoP armor generally used for?) 2. How do combat bonuses factor into damage? Ex. Armadyl boots give 11 range bonus, so would that be 11 bonus flat damage? Does armor rating work similarly? - 64 vs 104 armor would be a 64 vs 104 damage reduction? (I notice that people like to use T85 glacor boots, but those don't seem to offer any combat bonuses) Similarly, I have the T85 gloves from dominion tower - are they worth using? 3. I've read that the shatter storm ability from Mazcab raids is a nice ability to have, and as such, does anyone know whether it would be better (in your opinion) to just suck it up and learn how to raid for the other drops or should I just flat out buy the ability codex? Are any of the other 3 abilities worth it? 4. I'm currently deciding between noxious longbow vs. ascension crossbows, and from what I understand, nox is great for range and aa's vs. ascensions for slightly higher dps, but is there any general winner in terms of price/slayer/learning to boss, or is it just personal preference (what's yours)? 5. For general necklace/ring purposes, would it just be the hydrix amulet/ring (I think it's the soul reaper amulet and the ring of death or something) as the best for their respective slots for bossing purposes, or would it be say ring of asylum or ring of vigour for their abilities? 6. Are seismics worth the price, or are they just overpriced? :S (Or in other words, is dual mage that much better than 2h?) 7. For those who used to be terrible at PvM bossing, would you say that learning how to solo bosses such as Nex,Corp, KK, Araxxor, etc. not as bad as you thought? Are all boss locations easy to return to within 2.5 min, should you die? 8. Is there any use for the amulet of zealots (minus 5 prayer bonus, but increases single stat prayers)? (Aren't turm, anguish, torment better?) Thank you once again! I really, really appreciate this! :D

I did all the lumbridge/draynor and burthorpe/taverley tasks (which included like use a bank or pick up this gp), but my task list still shows 126/127 task completion for lumbridge/draynor, yet it doesn't show that last task. I still don't know what the 657th task is either >< but I think i'll just check the wiki and crosscheck each task one by one...

Hi, I have a few questions about various comp cape reqs: 1. So I'm right now at 654/657 while trying to complete the remaining 3. I know what one of the tasks are, but not the other 2. My task list shows that I've completed 126/127 Lumbridge tasks, but no matter which option I click (e.g. do not hide tasks completed), I still do not see the remaining lumbridge/draynor task. I've manually scrolled up and down to see whether or not there was a missing check mark, but I still can't find it. For the last task, all my task sets say full completion. Are there some tasks that do not show unless you've completed some minigame? 2. I just wanted to know if I'm doing ports right as I started it pretty late. For Ports, I'm currently at the Pincers region. Basically, I've just been completing as many voyages as possible for resources and progression thru areas, while doing storyline/scroll voyages if possible. Upgrades have been crew > ship > port. I also do the gossip missions. I'm assuming I still have months more to go, but is this the general strategy? Also, is there some reason that I haven't had any random events, such as interactions with Seasinger Umi? 3. Do the Soul Reaper Bosses for the Reaper Title include the Raids bosses? 4. For cleansing shadow cores for Lord Amlodd, is there any way to check the progress of my cores? 5. Lastly, and this may be a bit of a stretch, but any tips to make livid farm faster/more enjoyable? :/ Thanks so much! :S

Hi again, I have a few questions: 1. Are any of the raptor monsters that were released November worth it in terms of money hunting (or slayer xp)? I'm really bad at PvM and I've tried wyverns/camel warriors, but I've gotten my butt pounded by these creatures. Any tips? For wyverns, I've been using T70 armor + my chaotic staff for fire spells/abilities with wyrmfire/overloads/antipoison++/rocktails, but I can only get 6-8 kills while blowing through a full invo + yak of rocktails per trip., which doesn't seem right... I've been standing as close to the fire as possible of course, but their ranged/mage dps on me is insane... I've watched a video guide that suggested a melee set up with drygores (and port armor, which I am still working on) -- does anyone have any positive experiences with such a set up? For camel warriors--well, I died on the first mob as I couldn't do anything during its sandstorm knockup as my hp dropped to 0 :/. Any tips? The pricey drops seem enticing for me to continue, but of course, there are other moneymaking alternatives I could switch to if needed. 2. I'm not completely sure, but can someone give me a quick rundown of what are raids? My understanding is that they are just huge boss fights, but the wiki drop table doesn't list any pricey drops. Are they done just for the abilities? (And does anyone know any good guides on how to get started with raids completely from scratch?) Thank you once again! I really appreciate the help.

Hi, I'm wondering if someone could help me with how to go about doing my lava strykewyrms task. Since they're in the wilderness, I've been using my welfare gear of a crystal bow + royal d hide, while using like ~50 sharks to kill maybe 14 at most per trip (~20 min/trip). This has been extremely inefficient, but I want to at least finish this task before I block it in the future. Does anyone have any tips in terms of (cheap) gears or combat for battling these creatures? I've been deflecting range with its bouncing ball and mage without :S. Thanks!

Hi, I've recently returned back to RS and I am wondering what would be good "general armor" for each of the 3 attack styles? Maybe not something as expensive as the T80's (torva, pernix, etc.), but is there something better than the GWD armors of bandos/armadyl/etc. that is relatively cheap (as in like less than ~10 mil per set)? (This is when I last played). I've read about the warpriest armor on wiki, but I did not do the Tuska event or the other world events. The wiki says that GWD monsters drop these pieces, but I've so far not received a single piece in my few hours hunting here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

i have a few questions: 1. For divination training at lvl 80, what would be better - continue with elder wisps or do i move to the lvl 80 spot brilliant wisps? the wiki says elder wisps have 2k higher xp/hr but is this true even though brilliant wisps give more xp per memory? 2. for agility, is there an easier way to get the silverhawk boots for training agility, or is it pure luck? if not, would flash powder factory be recommended as an alternative to the agility courses? 3. I want to start using the artisans workshop but I'm a bit confused by the guides around - which of the options (ingots/ceremonial swords/etc.) are best and most cost effective to do there? what materials should i bring for said options? thanks!
