Well, I only intermittently play RS2, but I wouldn't take JagEx for granted.. Earlier this year, JagEx announce its milestone for half a million ongoing subscriptions... that's, um, 500,000x5=$2,500,000 a month? Also, at the end of October, Jagex secured an investment from Insight Venture Partners, an investment firm that has an excellent track record of dedication to the online playing community.. Obviously, Jagex's philosophy of creating a "play-anywhere" game has more than paid off.. And I think graphics and everything will improve in RS2 (as they did from RS-Classic) as technology moves along.. To me, Jagex's move from RS-Classic to RS2 was like a jump from Windows NT to Windows XP, if you get my meaning ;) So, hopefully, it can only get better ;) (Though I feel the map is a bit oversized by now.. Lots of HUGE areas that do not attract players at all.. Hopefully, there'll be a RS3 that will fix this :D)
