1 What is The Data Bank Log Book?

The Data Bank Log Book tracks my progression throughout RuneScape. From playing MiniGames to farming for a drop, I plan on posting it all. I am Freezepop91, also known as AdamFirst1991 and Yuki Sorrelwood. I am a retired professional gamer, I spent 3 years playing professionally Xbox 360. I have won countless tournaments and topped the leader boards for years. From Call of Duty to Battlefield 3, I was a dominating force. Now that I have retired I have wanted to help improve the game that helped me fall in love with playing video games. I use to play World of Warcraft and the countless fan sites had something that seems to be lacking with many RuneScape fan sites, and that is statistical data. I am talking about drop rates and success rates. Many have told me "Oh well its mostly random, its to help stop the bots." If this was true, then why do you see most bots off doing their own thing in a group of bots? This is because they know something that has not been shared with the public, and that is statistics. They know that if they farm such and such item at such and such level they will have a higher success rate then farming the higher level item. This in turn causes them to gain more exp by farming the lower level item at a faster rate. One great example of this is in the RuneSpan. Most guides tell you to go farm this and this at this level. But watch the bots, they are all farming low level nodes. Why? Because they know that with a Law Esshound they are missing 3 out of 4 siphons, but if they farm a Fire Storm Node they will miss only 1 out of 8 siphons. Doing the math, they are gaining 3x the exp from farming the lower level nodes. Ok, I need to stop rambling on. Any ways, this blog will be updated at least once a week, and I say at least because of all the new content that is being released and I like to stay on top of it all.
