once you finish the tutorial you should go just outside lumbridge castle and you will see te walls out the front lummy castle, go to the top of the wall on the north side and pick up the bronze pickaxe that is lying there.

Once you get the axe, go south towards lummy swamp, keep going south, right next the water, until you see a mine. when you get there start mining copper, you will only need one bag of copper so mine about 28 copper ores so that you have enough money to buy a shortbow,some range armour and about 100 iron arrows.
