I dont want to wait because people are dumb enough not to check the 2nd trade screen.
agreed, instead if making jagex make a new update for the people who refuse to check the screen and blame jagex, why dont you use a little thing i like to call common sense?
notice that i said going standing there trying to sell something for an hour. After waiting for that long, it's very natural for people to be like
"yes! i got it i'm finally gonna get [insert item here]" and they get so excited and they start clicking through the thing.
and thanks a lot shane for suggesting it:):)

I think i've got a great suggestion to reduce the number of scams
everybody knows that you're supposed to read the confirmation window, but after you've been standing there trying to get a buyer for half an hour, once you get a buyer you want to just breeze through the whole thing. As a result you miss the confirmation window and you get scammed sometimes. I say that Jagex should put a countdown timer on the window and hide the buttosn for 5 secs or something to make you slow down and read the thing.
I think it would be really helpful to the people who constantly get scammed. And since i'm not a member, I can't really make a suggestion so if a member reads this could you please make the suggestion for me?
thx

also don't try to download any "autos" and stuff like that, or any custom rs clients. they sometimes embed stuff into there

did you install anything new since you had a good amount of space?
if you didn't that might mean that it's reporting the free space wrong
click start>run and type chkdsk c: /f
and that might fix it
if it's not, use a program called ccleaner to clean out some stuff
also try the disk cleanup utility at start>all programs>accessories>system tools
if that doesn't work then look at which programs you don't use anymore and uninstall them. and finally, if all that doesn't work then go and see what kinds of useless files you can delete, but you have to be careful not to delete anything important

I had this conversation once
Scammer (in pm): Hello. I'm part of Jagex staff, and you have been picked to receive free lifetime membership and 1 Mil gp.
Me (playing along): Ok. How do I receive this prize?
Scammer: Excellent! Now all we need is your pas
Me: My ******** (blanked out word is password)?
Scammer: Excuse me!
Me: My pas is "lol your reported"
Scammer: Kool
Frankly, I'm surprised people can be that stupid. Well, actually, I'm not
hah i got the exact same thing once. i reported him for jagex impersonation

use partition magic. and who's your computer manufacturer? because i know compaq has something that lets you partition your computer. i believe hp has one too. it's one of those things that you press when you first boot up your computer.
-
well first are you a broadband user?
if you are, you aren't even supposed to have a proxy. so to get rid of it you have to go into internet options click on the connections tab then disable the proxy.
if you're dial up then you have to phone your isp and ask them about it.
and have you tried repairing it before?
so if that all doesn't work phone your isp and ask. even if you're not dial up

wow the kids at my school are a bunch of pansies compared to those guys.
oh and something else. today i saw these two kids using swear words in normal conversation with their parents, like how some people use the f-bomb every other word to fill in the gaps.
very weird

keep in mind that some viruses lay dormant for a while then explode later. so if anything happens in the future i'd say it might be the virus

get a bigger hard drive and use it as a server or something.
-
this doesn't really relate to what you last said, but i like to partition my hard drive so everything i want is on one drive and the system stuff is on the other. that way, if my computer screws up i can clean install xp without losing stuff i want. or you can back your stuff up frequently

well if you have a firewall they won't really be able to do anything. and especially important that you password that firewall. with a really unique password. even if you just have a router that's enough to stop them. but it's always good to add a layer of software protection

well if used to use dial up or something i guess it would show humanclay. cause if you didn't know the ip changes with every time you connect. also, i personally think that when it says last logged in from [ip address], i feel safer because it's my ip. and i'm the only person who has it. whereas if somebody else also logs onto my account and it says my rsn or another ip address i'll know that i've been hacked or something
