RS is only an addiction when you neglect basic needs and shelter yourself from the world, such as skipping school/work. And generally most people on these forums already know this.

Theirs still a lot of unfinished storylines and most skills end in the 80's, so thiers still lots of room for more stuff. Quality will be another issue though.

The fundamental flaw in this plan is that it doesn't get rid of the macro's, it merely moves them from one place to another. The short term effects would hurt honest players while not actually solving anything, like pure ess. The only way I can see to cure the problem is to take away the desire for RS gold from illegal sources. Severe penalties would be a start, but implementing those penalties may be difficult, legalities and such.

Personally prayer is my favorite combat state (piety ftw) but defense is the next most important for me, I'd rather not get hit.

This would only work for a few days, and then p2p would be flooded with macro's while f2p would be macro free. This only moves the problem from one place to another, and wouldn't solve anything in the long run. The only permanent fix is to some how force everyone to stop buying RS gold.

I've been playing for about 4 years now and know a little bit about almost everything, I tried classic but since I started on RS2 classic just looked horrible to me. The first update that applied to me was cook all (f2p), and I have a yo-yo. Does this make me a veteran, who knows.

A long time ago there was a poll that asked if there was a new minigame what skills would you like the game to be based on and if i remember correctly runecrafting was fairly high on the poll. A minigame would make a lot of sense. But if it's justa random rune alter in deep wild and no easy way to get to it, it wont be used.

If you put a sheild in front of your car, could you get the same effect as driving behind a semi-truck?
And why are they called semi trucks anyways?

3: no, because the car now has to push the shield through the air, although cars behind you may get the effect.

You know that Korn song Devolution (?), I've been saying that for years now,
I mean WTH!?! Whats a running game without chasing other then racing and thats only fun for so long, and that will slowly evolve into tag (again). I fear for the future.

Blood + is a great anime, just takes a little while to get going.

One of the best anime's I've ever seen is called Samurai 7, it's only in subtitles but it is worth the watch. Also loved FMA, but didn't like the ending. Bleach is also great, waiting for ep 138 to come out. A great website for anime is tv-links.co.uk. All kinds of anime, movies, tv shows, just gotta hope they work.
Ps. I heard the FMA movie ties up alot of loose ends, but I haven't seen it.

One way to put a dent in the ess market could be to ban the mains selling 600k ess and 600k nats while the account only has 50 mining and 38 runecrafting. I'm not sure what the long term effects would be though.

Someone a while back made a huge post using college-level math proving the benefits of using prayer that speeds up healing when pickpocketing. The bracelet of regen would work as well. If the prayer and the bracelet stacks, it'd be even better. But then again, does anyone pickpocket for thieving exp anymore?

Toke me a week to get my flag (6k poe), and I played the game, not collect water for 20 mins, so my average poe was probably less than 100 a game. I also got mine many months ago, so it might be easier now with the TB world.

When I first started playing and got a pick axe I mined copper and tim in the varrock mine, then i would walk theres ores from the varrock bank to lumbridge to smelt it, then walk from falador to the anvil north of it ( where that quest is). I did everything the hard way, but was to nooby to now better.

Blast furnace actually has people now, but going back and forth to the bank is still a pain so I don't know how long they will stay their.

Just because you feel those skills are boring doesn't mean every one does. Jagex isn't forcing you to train those skills, and saying you cant enjoy a certain aspect of the game because getting to that point is "boring" is like me saying I cant enjoy ancients because I don't have enough money and think making money is boring.

It could be pretty interesting to see how the community reacts if pc was removed for a week and the only reason being " Jagex feels you people are ungrateful, and shall suffer for it" only they wouldn't tell them it would be back in a week.
I also think there should be some reason to have a game last the whole 20 mins, but currently, other than getting a huge amount of zeal there is no reason. I would personally think a Jad type monster that spawns by the south gate after 15 mins would be cool, and the reward would be an extra 2-3 points or something.
I love this update, it makes so many people happy while screwing over so many more. :thumbsup:

I once gave a rune scimi to a low level just because I was too lazy to sell it, he wasn't asking for anything, I just traded a random person. Later he pm's me asking for more free stuff, and ended up on my ignore list.
The worst is people who beg for stuff in cw, such as asking for a free shield, right after they remove their shield and drag dagger, but thats a little off topic I think. :-w
