  1. Hey, wait everybody i've got it now!

    Its The jumping skill.

Dont believe me? There is solid evidenve

Check the Postbag 21 and read the 4th Letter:

    http://www.runescape.com/c=-4fe85a6b/kb ... cle_id=452

It quotes the Childerkin of Karamja:

    Ello Roo Nightmans,

Fanks loads fer savin us mister. Dem gublunches smelt of boiled sweets and wet dogs like nan does.

Anyway seems like yer intrested in our jumpin mister so eres why we jump.

    1. Jumpin is better than minin. I never wanna go minin ever again cos jumpin is so much more funner. Im gonna be a jumpin pure an only get my jumpin stats up. Im gonna get a jumpin skillcape wiv a jumpin emote an everyun will want me to do their high level jumpin for em.

    2. If you jump enough then yer start forgeting stuff that appened that morning cos yer memmerys start to leap outta yer ears.

    3. If you jump fast enuff then you look taller.

    4. If yer all jump at once den the world is lighter an thats amazin.

    Fanks for yer letter.

    Jonah who is 7 3/4

  2.

Lets face it, dragon armour isn't exactly the best anymore (albeit boots and gloves). Dragon seems to be bought for its looks these days more then anything, and lower leveled players see it as a small step up from rune if they buy a dragon skirt/dragon med.

The price of dragon is decreasing every week, as it seems dragon is longer bought by higher level players anymore, as we now have bandos, barrows and third age to get our hands on. Personnally I think I have a solution. Make dragon armour f2p (all except boots, gloves and halberd of course). This would make dragon aquireable again, as richer f2p players would then have a new goal to work towards to, and the price of dragon armour would increase pretty steadily. I don't however think that special attack should be given to f2p, as I really enjoyed the special attacks when I became a member, and it it something to look foward to in becoming a member.

So what do you think, would making dragon armour f2p be a good idea?

    1. The question is not, wether its a good idea or not.

    2. Dragon is still widely worn as it is ecellent armour and does not need repair like barrows.

    3. If high level Players on F2P find new achievements in F2P it stops them from becoming members. Jagex's policy is that an F2P Player, no matter what skill he uses, finally gets to a point, where there is nothing more to do or achieve in F2P so thet he/she has to become a member.

As less members mean less money there is no way dragon Items will EVER be F2P.

Also all the ways to obtain Dragon items (exept for trading other players) are P2P - should the Kalphite Queen and Steel dragons be F2P too?

stop dreaming, become a member or quit

  3.

One thing they might do instead of armor is a new area [...]

perhaps the trapdoor could be the one at ge? i havent heard about any other locked trapdoors around runescape so maybe the ge trapdoor could finally have use

We already have a Varrock Diary and why should the say Ardougne Diary unlock an area in Varrock?

The guaranteed poll to decide for the Varrock achievement was a joke though...

I'm quite sure that when giving it serious thought, a LOT of people whould have chosen Rellekka instead, but alas, that was not the town that got the graphics update a week before...

Well, considering the Varrock area as mostly finished it was maybe not too bad, seeing there might be more content added in Rellekka hence more tasks to complete.

  4. craft a Water rune

complete a Task of the Wiae old Man

    steal a cow bell

pass the cate to al Kharid

    tann a cow hide

    spin a bow string

    steal a man/woman

    change your Grave stone

mine a mith ore in the swamp mines

steal a (master)farmer or from the seed stall

give the bank guard thats hiding in a tree in draynor a stew

enter the killerwatt plane (kill one)

    escape Draynor manison

    plant an evil turnip

  5.

"You'll have to find him first."

Today they would have introduced it including a Map, Screenshots, Manual and a Reminder, not to forget your Dragonfire-shield. You get EVERYTHING provided in the Manual - you even know how it Looks and what special Drops it has - hou dont have to go see it yourself anymore.

I Quit membership fo about a Jear from 07 to 08 and did not have to play any of the new updates and still know everything about them.

This is probably a move by Jagex to stop the need of Fansites by providing the information themselves. Factually they spoil their own Updates.

  6. I recently thought about possible new Diaries and where they would take place.

Counting out the areas left and the possible reward items turns out that their numbers do not match.

There are potentially more areas than equipment slots so that not every area can have its own diary ...

There are 3 Achievement Diaries released or announced so far:

    Karamja

    Varrock

Lumbridge (supposed to be released on July 21)

In the Guaranteed Content Poll last year players could also choose the following:

    Camelot and Seers' Village

    Falador

    Fremennik (Is)lands

    Gnome Stronghold

    Ardougne

Burthorpe and the troll mountains (+Keldagrim?)

    Missing:

    Desert

    Morytania

    Tirannwn Land of the Elves

    Feldip Hills and OoGlog

    Wilderness

These are all areas in the outskirts of Runescape, where most of the new content is expected to be released.

    Total: 9 Announced, 4-5 missing.

But there is only a maximum of 10 Equipment slots:

    Head

    Neck

    Back

    Body

    Legs

    Weapon

    Shield

    Boots

    Gloves

    Ring

Will there even be a Cape? Diaries are Achievements and not supposed to compete with the Achievement Capes, leaving 9 equipment slots to be filled.

What do you think could be the rewards for the according areas and what areas will be without diary?

What diary comes next and which is the last? Will there be a Faldor helmet, Mountain Boots, Fremennik Ring, Gnome Necklace? I personally am especially nosy about what will be wielded in the Weapons and Shield Spot.

And what we all like to know: What will the Lumbridge Diary bring, except for 3 experience lamps?

    Have fun speculating

  7. Firemaking is by far not the only Skill, that only costs money (though it is the only one, that literally burns it).

Neither is Firemaking completely useless (at least Jagex tried a lot not to let it look useless):

It is required to complete a lot of fun or rewarding Quests (Tears of Guthix, First Resort, Desert Treasure, Enakhras Lament, Lunar Diplomacy, Legacy of Seergaze, Sea Slug, Swan Song...

It lets you wear a lit Mining Helmet, that looks great and never gets extinguished in a dark area,

So you could never ice-barrage, blood-runecraft, balloon-travel, monkfish-fish, or collect blue Tears with your Platypus without this Skill.

Maybe this is, what Firemaking will be for a very long Time (or for ever): A Quest-Skill

  8. Did you ever thought of the following:

Maybe Jagex has not yet developed a content for this. They just placed a moaning ghost in the Wildy and watch the forums to see, what ideas players come up with and eventually develop one of them...

Some of you reported, the voice changed? Is it getting clearer with less "..." in between?

I dont think, the beast is to be immagined as a giant Demon, Dragon or Hellhound - remember, it devours their souls, not their bodies!

In the beginning of the thread someone said, these voices were like in the underground pass but i cant remember - what voices did i hear there?
